This manual contains important information for the proper installation and operation of the
carbon monoxide sensor. This device is designed to detect only carbon monoxide from any
combustion source. It is not intended to detect smoke, fire or other gases. Read the entire
manual before proceeding with the installation and keep it for future reference.
Carbon monoxide (CO) is an insidious poison that is released during the combustion of fuel. It is
a colorless, odorless and tasteless gas that is therefore very difficult for humans to detect.
Thousands of people are victims of carbon monoxide each year, and hundreds of them lose their
lives. The substance binds to hemoglobin in the blood and reduces the amount of oxygen
circulating in the body, which can kill in minutes at high CO levels. Carbon monoxide is produced
by incomplete combustion of fuels such as wood, charcoal, coal, heating oil, paraffin, gasoline,
natural gas, propane, butane, etc.
The following symptoms may be related to carbon monoxide poisoning:
35 ppm
Maximum allowable concentration for continuous exposure for healthy
adults in any 8-hour period.
200 ppm
Slight headache, fatigue, dizziness, nausea after 2-3 hours.
400 ppm
Frontal headaches within 1-2 hours, life-threatening after 3 hours.
800 ppm
Dizziness, nausea and convulsions within 45 minutes. Unconscious within
2 hours, death within 3 hours.
1600 ppm
Headache, dizziness and nausea within 20 minutes. Death within 1 hour.
6400 ppm
Headache, dizziness and nausea within 1-2 minutes.

WARNING: This device may not prevent chronic effects from exposure to
carbon monoxide, and it does not provide complete protection for vulnerable
people. May not fully protect people with certain medical conditions, if in
doubt consult your doctor.
NOTE: For maximum protection, an alarm should be installed in or near each room where there
is a fuel-burning appliance, such as gas furnaces, central heating boilers, room heaters, water
heaters, cookers, grills, etc.
Where not to install the device:
in an enclosed space (for example, in a cupboard or behind a curtain),
in places where it may be obscured (for example by furniture),
directly above the sink,
next to a door or window,
next to an exhaust hood, vent or other similar ventilation openings,
in a place where the temperature can drop below -10 ° C or exceed 40 ° C, unless it has been
designed for it,
in places where dirt or dust may block the sensor,
in the immediate vicinity of a cooking appliance.
Place the device in the same room as the fuel-burning device.
It should be on the wall close to the ceiling - not less than 1.5 m above the floor level.
Should be placed at a height greater than the height of any door or window.
A ceiling-mounted device should be at least 300 mm from any wall, and for a wall-mounted
device at least 150 mm from the ceiling.
The device should be located horizontally 1 m to 3 m from any potential source.
If there is a bulkhead in the room, the device should be on the same side of the bulkhead as
the potential source. Carbon monoxide detectors in rooms with sloping ceilings should be
located in the upper part of the room.
WARNING: This carbon monoxide sensor is intended for indoor use only. Do
not expose the device to rain or moisture. It will not protect against the risk of
carbon monoxide poisoning if the battery is depleted. Do not open or
manipulate the device, as this may cause it to malfunction.

WARNING: This equipment should be installed by a competent person. The CO
sensor is powered by batteries and requires no additional wiring. It can be
installed on the wall with the provided mounting hardware or on the countertop
with the included bracket.
1. After determining the mounting location, make sure that there are no electric wires or pipes
in the area adjacent to the mounting surface.
2. Mark the locations of the two mounting holes.
3. Drill holes in the marked places.
4. Screw the screws into the drilled holes and leave them at 4mm.
5. Insert 2 pcs of batteries (LR03 AAA 1.5 V) into the battery compartment on the back of the
detector, and the device will turn on automatically after about 120 seconds.
NOTE: The installation of the appliance should not be a substitute for proper installation, use
and maintenance of fuel burning appliances, including adequate ventilation and exhaust
systems.
Installing / Replacing the battery
This device is powered by 2 LR6 AAA 1.5V batteries. To install / replace the batteries, open the
battery compartment on the back of the detector and install the batteries. PAY ATTENTION TO
THE POLARITY CONNECTION AND CLOSE THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT.
After installing the batteries, the product's green (Power), yellow (Fault), and red (Alarm) LEDs
will light up in sequence, followed by a preheat countdown of 120 seconds.
Standby mode
When carbon monoxide is not detected, the green (Power) LED blinks once approximately every
59 seconds.
Testing
To test the device, press the TEST button to enter the test mode. During this time, the green
(Power) and yellow (Fault) LEDs will be on, the red (Alarm) LED will flash and the device will
simulate an alarm.

NOTE: Although this device is self-diagnostic, it is recommended that you self-test the CO
sensor once a month to ensure that the alarm is functioning properly.
Mute function
In alarm state, if the concentration is lower than 50PPM, press the TEST / RESET button, the
device will enter the alarm silence mode, the red (Alarm) LED and green (Power) LED will
flash once every 10 seconds.
While the carbon monoxide concentration is still only 30ppm, the mute mode ends and the
alarm goes into standby without alarm.
When the concentration rises and reaches the appropriate level, the device will re-enter
alarm mode.
Alarm memory function
After pressing the TEST button, the device will show the highest carbon monoxide
concentration point of the last alarm condition.
Low battery signal
When the device detects that the battery voltage is low and a replacement is required, the yellow
(Fault) LED will flash approximately once every 47 seconds and the BEEP alarm will sound.
When the battery voltage continues to decline, the low voltage indication cycle will shorten to 12
seconds.
NOTE: Normal battery standby time is minimum 3 years. Replace the battery in good time after
the low voltage (low battery) alarm sounds. It is recommended to use the same type of battery
as recommended.
Error signal
If a sensor failure is detected, it will emit 5 beeps every 30 seconds and the yellow (Fault) LED
will blink 5 times.
End of life warning
The service life of the product is 10 years. 10 years after the first start-up, the product will emit
two beeps and the yellow (Fault) LED will flash twice every 60 seconds.
Device maintenance
To keep the sensor in good condition:
Test the alarm at least once a month by pressing the TEST button.
Clean the CO sensor regularly to prevent dust build-up. This can be done once a month with
a vacuum cleaner with a brush. Gently clean around the vents.
Never use cleaning agents. Just wipe with a damp cloth.

Do not paint the device.
Do not manipulate any element as this may lead to product failure, short circuit and risk of
death.
Get fresh air outside immediately or open all doors / windows to ventilate the room and
allow the CO to dissipate.
If possible, turn off the fuel burning appliance.
Evacuate people from the building.
Do not re-enter the property or approach open doors / windows until emergency services
arrive, the property is aired, and your sensor returns to normal operation.
Seek medical attention immediately for anyone suffering from symptoms of headache,
drowsiness, nausea, etc.
Do not use the equipment again until it has been checked by a qualified technician and the
fault has been located and rectified.

that during the period of 7 (say: seven) years, commencing from the date of purchase, it will replace or repair the product
free of charge. The warranty is provided to the original retail buyer from the date of original retail purchase of the
equipment. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, disassembly, overuse, or failure to
properly maintain the product, or using it in a manner inconsistent with the operating instructions. The guarantee does
not cover events and circumstances beyond the control of SafeMi Home Sp. z o.o. such as force majeure events (fire,
severe weather etc.). SafeMi Home Sp. z o.o. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting
from breach of warranty terms. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. SafeMi Home Sp. z
o.o. shall not be liable for any damages (except death or personal injury), costs or expenses related to this product, or any

Worn-out electrical devices should not be disposed of with other consumer waste. The sensors are recyclable as part of
the recycling of electronic waste and electrical appliances (WEEE). Such devices must be handed over to applicable
collection points for recycling. Information on the recycling / disposal of such products (may vary by region / country) is
available from your local authorities, dealer, or technical support. Before disposing of the sensor, remove the batteries (if
applicable). Both the batteries and the sensor should be disposed of in accordance with current regulations.

WARNUNG: Dieses Gerät verhindert möglicherweise nicht die chronischen
Auswirkungen von Kohlenmonoxid und bietet keinen vollständigen Schutz für

Einsetzen / Austauschen des Akkus
Dieses Gerät wird mit 2 LR6 AAA 1,5V Batterien betrieben. Um die Batterien einzulegen /
auszutauschen, öffnen Sie das Batteriefach auf der Rückseite des Detektors und legen Sie die
Batterien ein. ACHTEN SIE AUF DIE POLARITÄTSANSCHLÜSSE UND SCHLIESSEN SIE DAS
BATTERIEFACH.
Nach dem Einlegen der Batterien leuchten die grüne (Power), gelbe (Fault) und rote (Alarm) LED

Standby Modus
Wenn kein Kohlenmonoxid erkannt wird, blinkt die grüne (Power) LED etwa alle 59 Sekunden
einmal.
Testen
Um das Gerät zu testen, drücken Sie die TEST-Taste, um in den Testmodus zu gelangen.
Während dieser Zeit leuchten die grüne (Power) und die gelbe (Fault) LED, die rote (Alarm) LED
blinkt und das Gerät simuliert einen Alarm.
HINWEIS: Obwohl dieses Gerät eine Selbstdiagnose durchführt, wird empfohlen, den CO-
Sensor einmal im Monat selbst zu testen, um sicherzustellen, dass der Alarm richtig
funktioniert.
Mute-Funktion
Wenn die Konzentration im Alarmzustand niedriger als 50 ppm ist, drücken Sie die TEST /
RESET-Taste, das Gerät wechselt in den Alarmstummmodus, die rote (Alarm) LED und die
grüne (Power) LED blinken alle 10 Sekunden.
Wenn die Kohlenmonoxidkonzentration immer noch nur 30 ppm beträgt, wird der Mute-
Modus beendet und der alarmfreie Standby-Modus geht über.
Wenn die Konzentration ansteigt und den entsprechenden Wert erreicht, wechselt das Gerät
wieder in den Alarmmodus.
Alarmspeicherfunktion
Nach Drücken der TEST-Taste zeigt das Gerät den höchsten Kohlenmonoxid-
Konzentrationspunkt des letzten Alarmzustands an.
Signal bei schwacher Batterie
Wenn das Gerät erkennt, dass die Batteriespannung niedrig ist und ein Austausch erforderlich
ist, blinkt die gelbe (Fault) LED etwa alle 47 Sekunden und der BEEP-Alarm ertönt. Wenn die
Batteriespannung weiter absinkt, verkürzt sich der Anzeigezyklus für niedrige Spannung auf 12
Sekunden.
HINWEIS: Die normale Standby-Zeit der Batterie beträgt mindestens 3 Jahre. Ersetzen Sie die
Batterie rechtzeitig nach Ertönen des Unterspannungsalarms (Batterie schwach). Es wird
empfohlen, den gleichen Batterietyp wie empfohlen zu verwenden.
Fehlersignal
Wenn ein Sensorfehler erkannt wird, gibt er alle 30 Sekunden 5 Pieptöne aus und die gelbe
(Fault) LED blinkt 5 Mal.
Warnung vor dem Lebensende
Die Lebensdauer des Produkts beträgt 10 Jahre. 10 Jahre nach der ersten Inbetriebnahme gibt
das Produkt zwei Signaltöne ab und die gelbe (Fault) LED blinkt alle 60 Sekunden zweimal.

Gerätewartung
So halten Sie den Sensor in gutem Zustand:
Testen Sie den Alarm mindestens einmal im Monat, indem Sie die TEST-Taste drücken.
Reinigen Sie den CO-Sensor regelmäßig, um Staubansammlungen zu vermeiden. Dies kann
einmal im Monat mit einem Staubsauger mit Bürste erfolgen. Reinigen Sie die
Lüftungsöffnungen vorsichtig.
Verwenden Sie niemals Reinigungsmittel. Einfach mit einem feuchten Tuch abwischen.
Lackieren Sie das Gerät nicht.
Keine Elemente manipulieren, da dies zu Produktausfällen, Kurzschlüssen und Lebensgefahr
führen kann.
Bringen Sie sofort frische Luft nach draußen oder öffnen Sie alle Türen / Fenster, um den
Raum zu lüften und das CO abzuführen.
Wenn möglich, schalten Sie das brennstoffbetriebene Gerät aus.
Evakuieren Sie Personen aus dem Gebäude.
Betreten Sie das Grundstück nicht wieder oder nähern Sie sich offenen Türen / Fenstern, bis
der Rettungsdienst eintrifft, das Grundstück gelüftet ist und Ihr Sensor wieder in den
Normalbetrieb zurückkehrt.
Suchen Sie sofort einen Arzt auf, wenn Sie unter Symptomen wie Kopfschmerzen,
Benommenheit, Übelkeit usw. leiden.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät erst wieder, wenn es von einem qualifizierten Techniker überprüft
und der Fehler lokalisiert und behoben wurde.

Tlenek węgla (CO) to podstępna trucizna uwalniana podczas procesu spalania paliwa. Jest to
