Installation for users of Windows® XP, XP64, Vista and Windows 7 – All version
Insert the Pacic AV8R USB cable into one of your PC’s USB ports. Follow the device
installation wizard to complete the installation of the new USB device to the system
Programming your Pacific AV8R FlightStick
The buttons and axes of your stick are all programmable using ST programming
software. To download the software, go to www.saitek.com/uk/down/drivers.php, select the
Pacic AV8R FlightStick from the drop-down menu and download software. Download the ST
manual and follow the onscreen instructions to start programming.
Extra features on your Pacific AV8R FlightStick
Twin Throttles
The PC version of the Pacic AV8R comes with twin throttles, these can be setup to use on
twin engine aircraft or can be used as a throttle and ap axis. To use the twin axis simple
press the Axis Lock button on the left throttle and the left and right throttle will now act
independently, to join the throttle again, simple line up the left and right throttles and press the
throttle lock button, the throttles will now be joined together
Mode Selector
The mode selector allows you to program the same button with 3 different actions, this
advance feature is available after you have downloaded and run the powerful ST programming
software, refer back to the Programming your Pacic AV8R FlightStick section in this manual.

WARRANTY
2-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Mad Catz warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the
warranty period. This non-transferable, 2-year limited warranty is only to you, the rst end-user
purchaser. If a defect covered by this warranty occurs AND you have registered your product
with Mad Catz AND you provide proof of purchase, Mad Catz, at its option, will repair or replace
the product at no charge.
The Mad Catz 2-year limited warranty is available to North American and European customers.
Your sole and exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of your Mad Catz product. In no event
shall Mad Catz liability exceed the original purchase price of the product. This warranty does not
apply to: (a) normal wear and tear or abusive use; (b) industrial, professional or commercial use;
(c) if the product has been tampered with or modied.

Programmierung des Pacific AV8R FlightStick

Zusatzfunktionen des Pacific AV8R FlightStick
Dualer Schubregler
Bei der PC-Version gibt es zwei Schubregler, die so eingestellt werden können, dass sie
beim zweimotorigen Flugzeug oder als ein Schubregler und eine Achse zur Flügeldrehung
verwendet werden können. Wenn Sie jede Achse unabhängig voneinander verwenden
möchten, drücken Sie auf dem linken Schubregler die Taste zum Sperren der Schubregler.
Dadurch wird dieser von dem rechten Schubregler getrennt. Um beide wieder miteinander zu
verbinden, richten Sie den linken und rechten Schubregler aneinander aus und drücken Sie
auf die Taste zum Sperren der Schubregler.
Modusauswahl
Bei der Modusauswahl können Sie dieselbe Taste mit drei verschiedenen Aktionen belegen.
Diese erweiterte Funktion steht zur Verfügung, wenn Sie die ST-Programmiersoftware
heruntergeladen und ausgeführt haben. Weitere Anweisungen erhalten Sie in diesem
Handbuch im Abschnitt zur Programmierung des Pacic AV8R FlightStick.

WARNUNG
- Benutzen Sie die Einheit nur für den vorgesehenen Zweck.

Programmation de votre manette de jeu Pacific AV8R FlightStick

drivers.php et sélectionnez « Pacic AV8R FlightStick » dans le menu déroulant. Téléchargez
le manuel du logiciel ST et suivez les instructions afchées à l’écran pour démarrer la
programmation.
Fonctionnalités supplémentaires sur votre Pacific AV8R FlightStick
Deux commandes d’accélération
La version pour PC dispose de deux commandes d’accélération qui, selon la conguration
choisie, peuvent être utilisées comme les commandes des gaz d’un bimoteur ou comme
commandes des gaz et des volets. Pour une utilisation indépendante de chaque axe, appuyez
sur le bouton de verrouillage de la commande d’accélération gauche pour la désolidariser
de la commande d’accélération droite. Pour lier de nouveaux les commandes, alignez les
commandes d’accélération gauche et droite avant d’appuyer sur le bouton de verrouillage.
Sélecteur de mode
Le sélecteur de mode vous permet de programmer 3 actions différentes sur un seul et même
bouton. Cette fonctionnalité avancée est disponible une fois le logiciel de programmation ST
téléchargé et installé. Pour plus d’informations, reportez-vous à la section du manuel relative à
la programmation du Pacic AV8R FlightStick.

AVERTISSEMENT

Programmazione del Pacific AV8R FlightStick
I tasti e gli assi del FlightStick possono essere programmati usando il software di
programmazione ST. Per scaricare il software, andare al sito www.saitek.com/uk/down/
drivers.php, quindi seleziona Pacic AV8R FlightStick dal menu a tendina. Per iniziare la
programmazione, scaricare il manuale ST e seguire le istruzioni su schermo.
Funzioni supplementari di Pacific AV8R FlightStick
Doppio Throttle
La versione per PC ha due throttle che possono essere congurati per l’uso sul bimotore,
o usati come asse throttle e ap. Per usare ciascun asse singolarmente, premere il tasto di
Blocco Throttle sul throttle sinistro per liberarlo dal throttle destro. Per ricollegare i due throttle,
allinearli e premere il tasto di Blocco Throttle.
Selettore della modalità
Il selettore di modalità permette di programmare lo stesso tasto per 3 diverse azioni. Questa
funzione avanzata è disponibile dopo aver scaricato ed eseguito il nostro software di
programmazione ST. Per ulteriori istruzioni, fare riferimento alla sezione ‘Programmazione di
Pacic AV8R FlightStick ‘ di questo manuale.

AVVERTENZA
- Non usare per altri scopi se non quelli previsti.

corpo (testa, viso o altro).
- Evitare un uso prolungato dell’unità. Fare una pausa ogni 30 minuti.
- Disporre i cavi in modo tale da non calpestarli o inciamparvi. Accertarsi che i cavi siano
disposti in una posizione o in un’area dove non sia possibile pizzicarli o danneggiarli.
- Non avvolgere i cavi attorno ad aree del corpo.
- Tenere i cavi lontani dalla portata dei bambini.
- Questo prodotto contiene pezzi minuscoli che, se ingeriti, possono causare soffocamento.
Non adatto ai bambini sotto i 3 anni.
