Safety Instruction
Please read all instructions before use.
All warnings and cautions should be strictly followed.
As with any electrical device, certain precautions must be taken in order
to ensure safety. Please follow and retain all information included with your
Foilgenie 5 electronic hair foils dispenser.
Ensure the Foilgenie 5 is placed on a flat dry surface away from all liquids.
When operating the dispenser only use the power supply unit supplied.
Never operate the Foilgenie 5 if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if the
dispenser has visible signs of damage. Please contact your Supplier or the
Customer Service team if this occurs.
Before turning the dispenser on, please make sure the lid is correctly closed.
Keep your fingers clear of the cutting blade when closing the lid on your
Foilgenie 5.
When loading and unloading foil in to the dispenser, make sure the internal
compartment is free from any loose foil or debris.
Do not try to remove the outer case of the Foilgenie 5. There are no user
serviceable parts inside the device, and there is a risk of electric shock.
Unplug the dispenser when not in use and before cleaning. The Foilgenie 5
is only completely switched off once it has been unplugged.
It is important to ensure your electrical equipment has been PAT (portable
appliance tested) for use in the workplace and also that the power supply
used conforms to IEC regulations.
This appliance should not be used by adults whose reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or whose lack of experience and knowledge, might
cause a hazard, unless they have been correctly instructed to understand the
safe use and hazards involved and are adequately supervised.
Careful adult supervision is required when this appliance is used on or near
children. Do not use on very young children.
This appliance should not be used, cleaned or maintained by children.
Keep out of reach of children.
Always ensure that this appliance is kept out of the reach of children at all
times, particularly during use.

The Dispenser
Welcome, to the magical world of the Foilgenie 5 electronic hair foils
dispenser. The Foilgenie 5 has been designed to make dispensing hair
foils simpler and faster than ever before. It really does answer your hair
colouring wishes!
The Foilgenie 5 dispenser has a number of different functions allowing you
to choose the length, fold and required quantities for your hair foils needs.
Please do not use the Foilgenie 5 before carefully reading all the
operating instructions provided. Ensure the dispenser is placed on a flat
dry surface away from all liquids.

Loading the Foilgenie refill
When loading your Foilgenie refill the following step by step guide
should be followed:

Notes:
If you open the lid of the Foilgenie 5 dispenser at any point
during the cutting process then the machine will immediately
stop cutting. Once the lid is closed the Foilgenie will display the
main menu screen. You can resume the previously programmed
cut by pressing the button. (unless the machine has been
unplugged)
To start the cutting
process press the
button on the keypad
To pause the cutting
process press the
button once, to resume
cutting press
To cancel the
programmed cut press
the button twice
and you will be directed
back to the main menu
screen.

Maintenance
Routine cleaning and maintenance will ensure excellent performance
from your Foilgenie 5 dispenser. We can help you to achieve this with our
maintenance tips.
Before cleaning the unit please disconnect from the mains
power supply.
Do not use any liquids, abrasives or cleaning solutions of any
kind to clean the Foilgenie 5. We do not advise using a wet or
damp cloth to clean any part of the Foilgenie 5.
The machine should not come into contact with any liquids
internally or externally. Should liquid accidently come into
contact with the machine, unplug the appliance immediately
and contact the Customer Service team for additional support.
Use a soft cloth to wipe the internal and external body of the
machine.
When cleaning internal compartment, take extra care near the
cutting blade located at the front of the machine.
It is important to keep the Foilgenie 5 free of hair and other
debris. Allowing such debris to build up can cause the machine
to malfunction.

Troubleshooting
Should you encounter any issues with the Foilgenie 5 electronic hair foils
dispenser, please refer to the scenarios described below. These should
resolve most issues. However, if you still have a problem please contact
the Customer Services team for assistance ([phone] )
Repairs to electrical components must only be carried out by SalonFoils
International authorised persons. Failure to do so may result in significant
damage to the Foilgenie 5 and will annul the guarantee.

Foilgenie 5 dispensers are subject to the Waste of Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive and we therefore urge you to dispose of
the equipment separately from “normal” household waste and make sure that
it is properly treated, recovered or recycled to protect human health and the
environment.
Dispose of your old product according to local legislation recycling procedure. For
