L2400 4-BUS MIXING CONSOLE
SERIES CATEGORY
L SERIES MIXERS
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Perfect for installation purposes, especially in clubs,
schools, theaters and churches, the L2400 is a 24-
channel, 4-bus mixing console with USB functionality.
Housed in an ergonomically correct, attractively
appointed enclosure, this mixer includes professional
features such as high-quality mic preamps, 3-band
swept mid EQ and 6 auxiliary buses with up to eight
mixes possible. There are even 100mm faders on all
the channels and groups. And each fader feels tight with a
smooth action, ensuring optimal comfort for any engineer.
Connecting microphones and instruments is easy, with
16 mic/line inputs plus four additional stereo channels.
In addition, each console has two extra mic preamps
on the stereo channels, bringing the total number of
mic inputs to 18 on this mixer. There are also dedicated
stereo effects returns for the 100 on-board studio-
quality digital effects, which can be applied to vocals
or instruments using the built-in 24-bit multi-effects
processor.
The L2400 also features large, backlit mute buttons that
make console navigation in dimly lit club and theater
settings easy and convenient. Additionally, there are
two large 12-segment LED meters for the main mix,
groups and PFL/AFL. A convenient talkback system also
makes communicating with musicians and performers
onstage no problem. Plus, the XLR mono output has an
adjustable low-pass filter specific for subwoofer output.
Recognizing the presence of computers in contemporary
audio, we’ve included USB functionality so any sound
operator can record and playback digital audio from
virtually any computer running recording software. The
flexible routing option also lets a user assign the USB output
to send the signal from the main stereo mix, or use the aux
sends to record a completely independent mix. The USB
input can be routed to the main LR mix or to channel
23 and 24.
The L2400 will provide clean, clear sound reproduction
thanks to advanced circuit topology, high-quality
components, low noise microphone preamps and a low
impedance mix bus design. Perfectly suited for recording,
live sound reinforcement and commercial installations,
the L2400 combines comprehensive features and intuitive
design, resulting in a truly remarkable mixer that’s as
versatile as it is reliable.
