Description of Appearance and Key Functions

Key function introduction

1．Power
Function 1: Power on/off
In power-off state, press and hold <Power> for three seconds to
power on DVR. then, the DVR begins to work automatically. In
power-on state, press and hold <Power> for three seconds. Then, the
DVR saves the video-recording file automatically and is powered off.
Function 2: Backlight
In power-on state, press <Power> shortly to open or close the
backlight of the screen,. (This function only acts upon the screen
backlight without affecting the videore cording function).
2. Menu
Function 1:Menu function
Press it to enter video/menu setting window at status of stopping
recording.
Press it to enter taking picture/menu setting window at mode of taking
picture.
Press it to enter play back/menu setting window at playback mode.
Function 2: Lock file
at status of being recording,press <Menu> key shortly to lock current
video,this video will not be overwritten.
3. Mode
At staus of stopping recording, press Mode key to change modes
among recording, taking picture and playback mode.
4. Up
Function 1: Up page function
Up page function at menu setting and playback mode.
Function 2: Camera switch
Press Up key shortly to switch mode from front camera, to back
camera, to two cameras showing in a screen.
Function 3: Motion detection
At standby or being recording mode, press Up key to open or close

motion detection.
5. Down
Function 1:Dow page function
Dow page function at menu setting and plackback mode.
Function 2: Audio record
At being recording mode, press Down key shorlty to close or open
audio record.
Function 3:Parking monitoring
At standby and being recording mode, press Down key long to open
or close parking monitoring function.
6. OK
Function 1:Record/take picture
At being recording mode, press OK key shorlty to record or stop
recording,. At taking picture mode, press OK key shortly to take a
picture.
Function 2: Confirm/play/suspend
At menu setting and playback mode, it is confirmation/play/suspend
function successively.
7. Reset
If device is breakdown, press Reset key shortly to restart device.
8. USB port
It connects DV 5V power for device.
9. AV IN socket
It is for connecting back camera.
10.TF card slot
For inserting TF card to store video files.
Operation Guide
Installing the DVR
1. Power off the automobile engine.
2. Insert the TF card into the TF card slot.

[Note] Please use a high-speed TF card (Class 6 or above) with a
minimum capacity or 8GB and a maximum of 32 GB.
3. Fasten the DVR to the rear mirror by using a rubber clamp at the
back.
4. Insert the in-vehicle charger into the cigar lighter of the automobile,
and insert the 3.5DC male connector to the DC female socket of the
DVR.
5. Install the rear camera in the back of the automobile in a correct
direction. Cable can be routed along the automobile ceiling. After
completing the installation, connect the rear connector to the USB
interface of the DVR.
6. Reposition the camera lens, keeping the camera lens level with the
ground.
7.Start engine to check if device is installed properly.
Note: please format TF card before using for the first time.
Function Description
1. Automatic Recording
After you start up the automobile engine, the DVR is automatically
started and the recording function is enabled.After you turn off the
automobile engine, the device will save the recorded files
automatically and then is powered off. The recorded images are
saved by segment in the TF card. When the TF card is full,,the earlier
files will be overwritten.
[Note]a. recording time segements can be set to be 1Min/2Min/5Min
at menu setting.
b.front and back camera videos are saved in “DCIMA” and
“DCIMB” file folder separately.
2. Photographing Function
At mode of stopping recording, press Mode key to switch to be
Photographing mode, then, the icon right-top of the screen is changed

from a video camera to a still camera, press OK key shortly to take a
picture, if need to be back to recording mode, press Mode shortly.
3. Lock function
At being recording status, press Menu key shortly to lock current file.
4. Time and date setting
At standby mode, enter menu setting window, up and down page to find
“date” option, press OK key shortly to enter time menu setting.
[Note] To effectively record time and date of obtaining the evidence of
traffic accidents, please set correct date and time before using the
DVR.
5. No audio record
At being recording status, press Up key to open or close audio
record, microphone on screen will be changed.
[Note] setting will be saved.
6. Motion detection function
Under standby mode, press UP key long to open motion detection
function, when lens finds something moving around, device will start
to record, it will stop recording if nothing is moving after 15 seconds.
[Note]:if using motion detection function all the time, please make
device connect power
7.G-sensor function
G-sensor was built inside device, if car is suffered from crash seriously,
dvr will lock the important video files, meanwhile, a lock icon will be
shown on screen.
[Note]G-sensor sensitivity can be adjusted, default setting is low
grade.)
8.Playing back fuction
Under standby mode, shortly press Mode key to switch to be play
back mode, press Up/Down key to find file in need, press OK key to
play it, shortly press Mode key if need to exit from playing back mode.
9.Visual of reversing car
When car reverses, video image will be switched to be back camera,
and show reversing assist line, when exits from reverse gear shift,

device will be recording normally.
[Note]if need this function of visual of reversing car, red and black
lines of connection cable need to connect reversing light, only
professional car repairers can install it.
10.Parking monitoring function
Under standby mode, enter menu to open “Parking Monitoring”
function, meanwhile, a “P” icon will be showed in screen. under
engine power off mode, if car dvr is suffered from shock, device will
start and record automatically, recording lasts 30 seconds, device will
be power off automatically, files will be locked not being overwritten.
11.U flash mode
Connect car dvr to computer USB port by data cable,storage,PC
camera and charging three modes are showed in PC display, press
Up/Down to select storage item, press OK key to be U flash mode.
[Note] when copy the files in computer, it is suggested that files from
TF card should be copied to computer by cardreader.
