installing

wall
mount.

The
manual instructions and provided parts are based
on
the
typical walls (made
of
wood orconcrete). (In
case
of
the WMN-M21
E(A)
model,
the
drywall
mounting parts are additionally provided.)
•
In
case
of
the
other
cases,
use separate mounting parts or perform
wall
reinforcement
in
advance. If required,
install the
wall
mount
with
an
aid
of
expert.
•
Be
cautious
not
to damage
the
TV
screen while installing the
wall
mount.
• Check your
TV's
model series. Then use the appropriate preparation methods
for
the
support frames using
the
appropriate screws.
• Ifyou do
not
follow
the
installation instructions suitable
for
your
TV
model, the
wall
mount
and
TV
connection
may
be
unstable.

• When
installing
or
uninstalling
the
wall
mount
support
frame, make sure 2 people
work
on
it, and
the
TV
is
off.
•
Use
a
flat
table
when
installing
the
wall
mount.
Use
the
TV
packing
material
(cushion)
for
curved
TVs.

the
wall
mount
only
on
the
wall
that
is
larger
than
the
TV
and
is
not
tilted.
After
installation,
the
cover or
attachment
at
the
bottom
of
the
TV
must
touch
the
wall. Otherwise,
the
wall
mount
must
not
be
installed.

• Before
mounting
the
TV
to
a wall, connect
the
power cable and One Connect cable
to
the
TV.
• When
installing
I
uninstalling
the
wall
mount,
be
careful
not

damage

optical cable. Especially,
be
careful
not

step on

optical
cable.
•
Use
a screwdriver
to
assemble
the
TV
to
the
support
frame. Using
an
electric screwdriver may cause screw
threads
to
wear out.
• The
minimum
distance between
the
TV
and
wall
may
be
2-3
mm
or more depending
on
the
wall
surface or
installation
conditions.
(Q7,
Q8

at

Series: at least 6 mm)
• The distance between
the
wall
and
the
left
or
right
side
of
the
TV
may
differ
depending
on
the
wall
and
installation
conditions.
• When
installing
the
wall
mount,
if
the
TV
is
too close
to
a wall, scratches may occur on
the
back
of
the
TV
or
on
a
wall.
• A
lot
of
force
is
required
to
open
the
bracket before
installing
the
wall
mount.
Be
careful
not
to
hurt
yourself
when opening
the
bracket. (Brackets
with
tilt
options are
difficult
to
open because
they
need
to
withstand
the
weight
of
the
TV.)

•
In
cases
with
tight
installation
conditions,
friction
between
the
TV/accessories and
the
wall
may damage
the
wall
or
the
back
of
the
TV.
Use
a scratch
protectorQ
as
in
the
picture in such cases. However, distance
from
the
wall
may increase.

You
must
use
Q
parts
as
in
the
picture
to
attach Q9 series
TVs.
This restricts
movement
between
the
TV
and
wall
due
to
distance
from
the
wall
and prevents
the
TV
from
leaning
forward.
If
the
TV
leans forward, use 2 overlapping
Q
parts. This may
additionally
improve
the
inclination. However,
distance
from
the
wall
may increase.

• A curved
TV
may move
left
and
right
after
being installed
to
the
wall
mount.
You
can suppress
the
TV
from
moving
left
and
right
by using accessories

together. (Adjust
the
horizontal
length
of
the
part
to
be
the
same.)
You
can also suppress a Flat
TV
from
moving
left
and
right
by using accessories
e-e.
However, distance
from
the
wall
may increase.

• Ifthere
is
a
protruding
part
on
the
wall
where you
want
to
install
the
wall
mount, you may use accessories

secure enough distance between
the
TV
and a wall. (Adjust
the
horizontal
length
of
the
part
to
be
the
same.)
However,
the
distance
to
the
wall
will
become larger.

If
you secure distances using those accessories, you may
not
be
able
to
use
the
tilt
option.
If
you
want
to
use
the
tilt
option,
the
secured distance
is
limited.
•
The
maximum
tilt
angle
differs
depending
on
the
TV
model. The
tilt
angle may
not
be
maintained
on
the
wall
with
vibration.
•
You
cannot choose
the
tilting
angle.
(You
can
only
install
at
the
maximum
tilting
angle.)
You
must
use
the
accessory
e
to
maintain
the
tilt.
If
you do
not
use
the
accessory
e,
it
may cause
the
TV's
tilting
angle
to
sag.
• When fixing
the
tilt
angle
with
the
(e)
part, do
not
stick
the
TV
to
the
wall. It may cause damage
to
the
fixture.

After
wall
mount
installation, movement may occur
on
some
TV
models depending
on
the
rear shape
of
the
TV.
In
this
case,
use
the
separation holder
(0)
.
Triangularsupport allows more stable
wall
mount
installation. However, distance from
the
wall
may increase.
•
If
you cannot adjust
the
horizontal level by using
the
horizontal
adjustment
function, check
if
the
installation was
done properly.
If
you cannot
use
the
horizontal
adjustment
function,
the
fixers
on
the
wall
mount's support
frame
are not
properly fixed. Make sure
to
install
them
properly.
•
The
horizontal level
that
can
be
adjusted
is
just
1
to
2 degrees.
To
adjust
the
horizontal level
at
more angles than
this range, reinstall
the
wall
mount.

• If
the
wall
mount's fixers are
not
fixed
to
the
end
as
shown in
the
figure, subtle impacts may move
the
TV.
In
this
case,
make sure
to
install
the
fixers properly
so
that
they
are fixed
to
the
TV
all
the
way

the
end.

wall, disconnect

power cable and

optical
cable before removing

• When you handle
the
TV
to
install, remove, adjust
the
horizontal
level, or
tilt
the
wall
mount,
be
careful
not
to
damage any cables.
•
Be
sure
that
the
TV
and
wall
mount
stand are
not
hit
with
excessive force
after
installing
the
wall
mount. The
wall
mount
or
TV
may
be
damaged or
the
TV
connection
with
the
wall
mount
device may become unstable.
In
this
case,
reinstall
the
wall
mount
or
consult
an
expert
for
assistance.
• Check
the
product
model
as
well
as
the
enclosed user manual
for
each
product
and check
that
the
wall
allows
mounting.

Be
sure
the
wall
is
stable.
If
the
wall
is
weak, reinforce
it
before
installation.
-If
the
wall
is
not
cement, check
with
a specialist
to
determine
whether
the
TV
may be installed
on
it.
-Consult
an
expert
installer
if
you do
not
have any background
knowledge
about
the
wall
you
want
to
install
the
product
on.
•
To
maintain product performance and prevent malfunctions, do
not
install
in
the
following
locations.
-Places where
there
is
a risk
of
vibration
or
shock: The
product
may
fall
and be damaged.
-Next
to
a
sprinkler
sensor: The sensor may
detect
the
heat
from
the
TV
and sprinklers may start.
-Near high-pressure cables: The
TV
may
get
interfered by high-pressure cable and
the
screen may
not
display
correctly.
-Near heaters: The
TV
may become overheated and
malfunction.
-
Do
not
install
anywhere
other
than
a
vertical
wall.
-
Install
it
out
of
the
reach
of
children.
-
Do
not
penetrate
the
wall
to
install
inside.
