Installationguide
1.Removecontentsfrompackage.
2.Toinstalltheunitonwood,acousticaltile,orothersimilarceilings,mount2metal
hooksthathavediametersofatleast2.5mmandthreadnumbersofatleast6and
hangtheunitbyitsbracketsonthehooks.
3.Forsufficientairflow,theintakeandventingholesshouldbeatleast12in.from
surroundingobstructions.
4.SANDASTERrecommendsthattheunitbeplacedat1to2ft.abovetheobjecttobe
illuminated.
5.ConnnecttheunittothespecifiedDCpowersupply.
6.Plugthepowersupplyintoanoutletwithrightspecifications.

Maintenance
1.Keepairventandfanclearofdust.Tocleanthefan,insertthetipofaCO2dust
blower(orsimilardustblowers)inone oftheslotsontheunit‘soutershell.Holdand
spray.
2.Keepthediffuserclean.Ifthediffuserbecomescontaminatedwithwater,dustor
otherparticles,cleanitwithisopropylalcohol.Wetacottonswaboranapkinin
isopropylalcoholandgentlywipethesurfaceofthediffuserandletitdry.

Safetyinstruction
1.Donotuseapowersupplythatisoutsidethespecifications.
2.Donotuseoutdoor.This unitisintendedforindooruseonly.
3.Donotexposeunittoanextremelyhumidenvironmentorsubmerseunitinwater.
Thismayleadtounitfailure.
4.Donotplaceworkingilluminatorinclosecontactwithanyobject.
Thismaycausetheobjectstoheatupandtheunittooverheat.
5.Keepdiffuserawayfromsharpobjects.
Thismaybreakthediffuserandleadtounitfailure.

Troubleshooting guide
Problem Solution
Light doesn’t turn ON
Make sure the unit connected to the power supply and the power
supply is connected to an outlet with the connect specifications.
Make sure electrical power is available to the AC outlet being used.
Check to make sure the power supply has the right specifications.
Make sure the device is operating within the specified operating
temperature range. If unit overheats, it will automatically shut
down.
Unit is flickering
Check to make sure you are using a power supply with the connect
specifications.
Make sure the unit has not overheated by operating at a room
temperature exceeding 40.
The fan is not operating properly.

•SANDASTER warrants,totheoriginalbuyer,allofitsproductstobefreefrom
defectsinbothworkmanshipandmaterialforaperiodofoneyearfromthedataof
purchase.Thiswarrantyextendstoallproductswhichhaveproveddefective
throughnormalusebutexcludesproductsthathavebeendamaged,disassembled,
modified,misusedbythebuyeroranyotherperson.Thiswarrantyisinlieuofall
otherwarranties,andSANDASTERdisclaimsallwarrantiesexpressedorimplied,
includinganywarrantyofmerchantability,fitnessforaparticularpurpose,or
arisingfromthecourseofdealingbetweenthepartiesorusageoftrade.
•SANDASTERwillreplaceorrepairtoproperworkingconditionanyproductsthat
arereturnedunderwarranty.Productsrepairedorreplacedunderwarrantyare
onlywarrantedfortheremainingunexpiredperiodoftimeoftheoriginalwarranty.

•FederalCommunicationCommissionInterferenceStatement
ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,pursuantto
Part15oftheFCCRules.Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovidereasonableprotectionagainstharmful
interferenceinaresidentialinstallation.
Thisequipmentgenerates,usesandcanradiateradiofrequencyenergyand,ifnotinstalledandusedin
accordancewiththeinstructions,maycauseharmfulinterferencetoradiocommunications.However,thereis
noguaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurinaparticularinstallation.Ifthisequipmentdoescauseharmful
interferencetoradioortelevisionreception,whichcanbedeterminedbyturningtheequipmentoffandon,
theuserisencouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterferencebyoneofthefollowingmeasures:
.Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.
.Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver.
.Connecttheequipmentintoanoutletonacircuitdifferentfromthattowhichthereceiverisconnected.

•FCCCaution:Toassurecontinuedcompliance,anychangesormodificationsnotexpresslyapprovedbythe
partyresponsibleforcompliancecouldvoidtheuser'sauthoritytooperatethisequipment.(Example‐ use
onlyshieldedinterfacecableswhenconnectingtocomputerorperipheraldevices).
•FCCRadiationExposureStatement
ThisequipmentcomplieswithFCCRFradiationexposurelimitssetforthforanuncontrolledenvironment.This
equipmentshouldbeinstalledandoperatedwithaminimumdistanceof0.5centimetersbetweentheradiator
andyourbody.
Thistransmittermustnotbeco‐locatedoroperatinginconjunctionwithanyotherantennaortransmitter.
Theantennasusedforthistransmittermustbeinstalledtoprovideaseparationdistanceofatleast0.5cm
fromallpersonsandmustnotbeco‐locatedoroperatinginconjunctionwithanyotherantennaortransmitter.
•ThisdevicecomplieswithPart15oftheFCCRules.Operationissubjecttothefollowingtwoconditions:
•(1)Thisdevicemaynotcauseharmfulinterference,and(2)Thisdevicemustacceptanyinterference
received,includinginterferencethatmaycauseundesiredoperation.
