1. Zum Kennenlernen
Die elektrische Zahnbürste mit maximal
ca. 40000 Schwingungen/Minute ist für
das tägliche Zähnereinigen entwickelt wor-
den. Die abgerundeten Borsten helfen, den
Zahnschmelz und das Zahnfleisch in gutem
Zustand zu erhalten, indem Sie eine Tiefen-
reinigung der schwer zugänglichen Stellen
ermöglichen. Als Ergebnis erhalten Sie ein
lang anhaltendes Frischegefühl und reine
Zähne.
Beachten Sie die Hinweise in dieser Anlei-
tung. Sie sorgen für den richtigen Umgang
mit dem Gerät und helfen Ihnen, ein optimales
Behandlungsergebnis zu erzielen.
Das Gerät ist nur für den in dieser Gebrauchs-
anleitung beschriebenen Zweck vorgesehen.
Der Hersteller kann nicht für Schäden haftbar
gemacht werden, die durch unsachgemäßen
oder leichtsinnigen Gebrauch entstehen.
Übergeben Sie diese Anleitung bei Weiter-
gabe des Geräts.

3. Bestimmungsgemäßer
Gebrauch
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur zum Reinigen
der Zähne und zur Zahnfleischmassage.
Das Gerät ist nur für den Einsatz im häus-
lichen/privaten Umfeld bestimmt, nicht im
gewerblichen Bereich.
Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch
Personen (einschließlich Kinder) mit einge-
schränkten physischen, sensorischen oder
geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangels Erfahrung
und/oder mangels Wissen benutzt zu werden,
es sei denn, sie werden durch eine für Ihre
Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt
oder erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das
Gerät zu benutzen ist.
Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, damit sie
nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn einer oder

4. Sicherheitshinweise
Warnung
• Das Gerät darf nur an einem Wechselstrom-
netz und mit der auf dem Typenschild ange-
gebenen Netzspannung betrieben werden.
• Das Gerät darf ausschließlich an einer
Steckdose mit Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrich-
tung betrieben werden.
• Den Netzstecker nicht am Netzkabel aus
der Steckdose ziehen!
• Das Gerät keinesfalls selbst reparieren.
Lebensgefahr durch Stromschlag!
• Das Gerät und das Netzkabel dürfen nicht
mit heißen Oberflächen oder scharfkantigen
Gegenständen in Berührung kommen.
• Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht um das
Gerät.
• Ziehen, verdrehen und knicken Sie das
Netzkabel nicht.
• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker im Falle von
Betriebsstörungen, bei der Reinigung und
wenn die Ladestation nicht in Gebrauch ist.
• Gerät nicht im Freien betreiben.
• Kinder unter 3 Jahren dürfen die elektrische
Zahnbürste nicht verwenden.
• Benutzen Sie keine Zusatzteile, die nicht
vom Hersteller empfohlen bzw. als Zubehör
angeboten werden.
Ladestation von Wasser fernhalten
• Der Standort der Ladestation muss einen
Sicherheitsabstand zu Badewannen,
Duschen, Schwimmbecken, Waschbecken
und wassergefüllten Gefäßen aufweisen.
Gemäß der VDE-Vorschrift 0100 beträgt der
Sicherheitsabstand mindestens 60 cm. Wir
empfehlen einen Abstand von mindestens
1 Meter.
• Wenn die Ladestation ins Wasser gefal-
len ist, fassen Sie keinesfalls das Gerät an
sondern ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker
und lassen Sie das Gerät vor erneutem
Gebrauch von einem Fachmann überprü-
fen. Dies gilt auch, wenn der Netzstecker
und/oder das Netzkabel oder die Ladesta-
tion beschädigt sind.
• Die eingesteckte Ladestation nie mit feuch-
ten oder nassen Händen anfassen.
• Fassen Sie die eingesteckte Ladestation nie
an, wenn die Ladestation selbst feucht oder
nass ist oder wenn Sie auf feuchtem Boden
stehen.
• Tauchen Sie das Gerät nie in Wasser oder
andere Flüssigkeiten und schützen Sie es
vor jeglicher Feuchtigkeit.
Um gesundheitlichen Schäden
vorzubeugen folgende(n) Punkt(e)
beachten:
Warnung
• Bei behandlungsbedürftigen Erkrankun-
gen/Entzündungen im Bereich der Zähne/
des Zahnfleisches konsultieren Sie vor der
Anwendung Ihren Zahnarzt.
• Bei chirurgischen Eingriffen am Zahn und/
oder Zahnfleisch, die bis zu 2 Monate
zurückliegen, befragen Sie vor der Benut-
zung dieser Zahnbürste Ihren Zahnarzt.
• Wechseln Sie die Aufsteckbürste, falls die
Borsten abgeknickt sind. Wechseln Sie die
Aufsteckbürste aus hygienischen Grün-
den auch, falls das Gerät fallen gelassen
wurde.
• Wenden Sie sich vor Verwendung die-
ses Gerätes an Ihren Arzt, wenn Sie einen
Herzschrittmacher oder andere elektrische
Implantate tragen.
• Die Aufsteckbürsten sollten aus hygieni-
schen Gründen nicht mit weiteren Perso-
nen gemeinsam benutzt werden.

Vor der Inbetriebnahme
Auspacken
Entfernen Sie sämtliche Verpackungen und
bewahren Sie diese für die spätere Lage-
rung auf.
Wenn Sie beim Auspacken einen Transport-
schaden bemerken, setzen Sie sich mit Ihrem
Händler in Verbindung.
Warnung
• Halten Sie Kinder von Verpackungsmateri-
alien fern – Erstickungsgefahr!
• Schalten Sie das Gerät sofort aus wenn es
defekt ist oder Betriebsstörungen vorlie-
gen.
• Stellen Sie vor dem Gebrauch sicher, dass
das Gerät oder das Zubehör (einschließlich
Netzkabel) keine sichtbaren Schäden auf-
weisen.
Achtung
• Sie dürfen das Gerät keinesfalls öffnen
oder reparieren, da sonst eine einwand-
freie Funktion nicht mehr gewährleistet ist.
Bei Nichtbeachten erlischt die Garantie.
• Wenden Sie sich bei Reparaturen an den
Kundenservice oder an einen autorisierten
Händler.

6. Bedienen
Gerät für den ersten Gebrauch
vorbereiten
Vor der ersten Anwendung muss der im Griff-
gerät eingebaute Akku vollständig geladen
werden.
Der erste Ladevorgang dauert mindestens
24 Stunden.
Das Griffgerät bietet danach eine Betriebs-
dauer von etwa 50 Minuten.
• Schließen Sie die Ladestation an die auf
dem Typenschild angegebene Netzspan-
nung an.
• Setzen Sie das Griffgerät auf die Ladesta-
tion.
Hinweis
• Vermeiden Sie längere Lagerzeiten in denen
die Zahnbürste nicht genutzt wird, da die
Kapazität des Akkus dadurch nachlässt.
• Das Griffgerät bleibt immer in voller
Betriebsbereitschaft, wenn Sie es für den

täglichen Gebrauch in der Ladestation ste-
hen lassen.
• Sie erhalten eine maximale Kapazität des
Akkus, wenn Sie den Akku mindestens ein-
mal alle 6 Monate entladen. Trennen Sie
dazu die Ladestation vom Netz und ent-
leeren Sie den Akku durch normale Benut-
zung. Laden Sie den Akku danach wieder
vollständig auf.
Akku laden
• Während des Ladevorgangs leuchtet die
Kontrollleuchte rot.
• Wenn der Akku vollständig geladen ist,
leuchtet die Kontrollleuchte grün.
• Die Kontrollleuchte blinkt rot, wenn der
Ladezustand des Akkus zu niedrig ist.
Anwendung
Hinweis
• Bei den ersten Anwendungen kann es zu
leichten Zahnfleischblutungen kommen.
Falls das Zahnfleischbluten länger als
2 Wochen andauert, befragen Sie Ihren
Zahnarzt. Um Ihr Zahnfleisch und Ihre
Zähne zu schützen vermeiden Sie beim
Bürsten zu starken Druck.
• Zahnärzte empfehlen eine Putzdauer von
mindestens 2 Minuten. Aus Sicherheits-
gründen und zum Schutz Ihrer Zähne und
Zahnfleisch schaltet sich das Gerät nach
2 Minuten automatisch ab.
• Es ist empfehlenswert die Aufsteckbürste
alle 2–3 Monate zu erneuern, spätestens
wenn sich die Borsten nach außen biegen.
• Reinigen Sie die Aufsteckbürste(n) vor dem
ersten Gebrauch mit warmem Wasser.
• Stecken Sie die Aufsteckbürste auf das
Griffgerät.
• Feuchten Sie die Zahnbürste an und tragen
Sie Zahnpasta auf.
• Um ein Verspritzen zu vermeiden, setzen Sie
die Zahnbürste schräg auf die Zahnflächen
auf. Schalten Sie erst dann das Griffgerät
ein, indem Sie auf den EIN-/AUS-Schalter
drücken. Das Griffgerät schaltet sich zuerst
automatisch in die höchste Geschwindig-
keitsstufe.
• Wählen Sie durch mehrmaliges Drücken
des EIN-/AUS-Schalters die gewünschte
Geschwindigkeit: 1 x: Medium; 2 x: Soft;
3 x: Massage; 4 x: Aus.
• Führen Sie die Bürste langsam von Zahn zu
Zahn.
– Beginnen Sie mit den Außenflächen.
– Reinigen Sie dann die hinteren Flächen
der Backenzähne.
– Reinigen Sie danach die Innenflächen und
schließlich die Kauflächen.
• Schalten Sie das Gerät aus bevor Sie es aus
dem Mund nehmen, um ein Verspritzen zu
vermeiden.
Hinweis
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur mit den mitgelie-
ferten Zubehörteilen der SZA 80.
7. Gerät reinigen und pflegen
Aufsteckbürste und Griffgerät reinigen
Achtung
• Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser in das
Geräteinnere gelangt!
• Gerät nicht in der Spülmaschine reinigen!
• Benutzen Sie keine scharfen Reinigungsmit-
tel oder harte Bürsten!
• Reinigen Sie die Aufsteckbürste und das
Griffgerät nach jedem Gebrauch.
• Entfernen Sie die Aufsteckbürste von dem
Griffgerät und spülen Sie die Aufsteckbürste
gründlich unter fließendem Wasser.
• Das Griffgerät kann mit einem weichen,
angefeuchteten Tuch gereinigt werden.
• Trocknen Sie die Teile gründlich ab.
Ladestation und Bürstenbehälter reinigen
• Trennen Sie die Ladestation von der Strom-
zufuhr.
• Nehmen Sie den herausnehmbaren Bürsten-
einsatz aus der Ladestation heraus. Danach
können Sie das Innenteil und den Bürsten-
einsatz mit einem milden Reinigungsmittel
reinigen.
• Reinigen Sie die Ladestation samt Gehäuse
und Deckel mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch.

Lassen Sie die Ladestation vor dem nächs-
ten Gebrauch vollständig trocknen.
• Unter der Bestellnummer SZA 08 können
Sie Ersatzzahnbürsten 4er Medium nach-

8. Entsorgen
Im Interesse des Umweltschutzes darf das
Gerät am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht mit
dem Hausmüll entfernt werden.
Die Entsorgung kann über entsprechende
Sammelstellen erfolgen.
Befolgen Sie die örtlichen Vorschriften
bei der Entsorgung der Materialien.
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät gemäß der
Elektro- und Elektronik Altgeräte EG-
Richtlinie 2002/96/EC – WEEE (Waste Electri-
cal and Electronic Equipment). Bei Rückfragen
wenden Sie sich an die für die Entsorgung
zuständige kommunale Behörde.
Batterien und Akkus gehören nicht in den
Hausmüll. Als Verbraucher sind Sie gesetzlich
verpflichtet, gebrauchte Batterien und Akkus
zurückzugeben.
Sie können Ihre alten Batterien bei den öffent-
lichen Sammelstellen Ihrer Gemeinde oder
überall dort abgeben, wo Batterien und Akkus
der betreffenden Art verkauft werden.
Hinweis: Diese Zeichen fin-
den Sie auf schadstoffhalti-
gen Batterien: Pb = Batterie
enthält Blei, Cd = Batterie
enthält Cadmium, Hg = Bat-
terie enthält Quecksilber.
Dieses Gerät enthält einen im Griff-
gerät eingebauten Akku. Der Akku
enthält Nickelmetallhydrid. Vor der
Verschrottung des Gerätes müssen
die Akkus entnommen und separat entsorgt
werden. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Akku
hierbei vollständig entladen ist.
Nehmen Sie dazu die Aufsteckbürste ab.
Lösen Sie dann die Verschraubung am Boden
des Griffgerätes. Hebeln Sie den Boden mit
einem Schraubendreher aus dem Griffgerät.
Drehen Sie das Gerät und setzen Sie die
Schwingachse auf eine harte Unterlage.
Hebeln Sie die beiden nun sichtbaren Laschen
zur Gehäusemitte aus und drücken Sie das
Gehäuse nach unten. Sie können jetzt die
Akkus entnehmen. Achten Sie darauf, dass
die verlöteten Kabel einzeln mit einer Zange
abgetrennt werden.
9. Garantie und Service
Sie erhalten 2 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum
auf Material- und Fabrikationsfehler des Pro-
duktes. Die Garantie gilt nicht:
• im Falle von Schäden, die auf unsachge-
mäßer Bedienung beruhen,
• für Verschleißteile,
• für Mängel, die dem Kunden bereits bei
Kauf bekannt waren,
• bei Eigenverschulden des Kunden.
Die gesetzlichen Gewährleistungen des Kun-
den bleiben durch die Garantie unberührt. Für
Geltendmachung eines Garantiefalles inner-
halb der Garantiezeit ist durch den Kunden
der Nachweis des Kaufes zu führen.
Die Garantie ist innerhalb eines Zeitraumes
von 2 Jahren ab Kaufdatum gegenüber der
Hans Dinslage GmbH, Riedlinger Straße 28,
D-88524 Uttenweiler, Germany geltend zu
machen. Der Kunde hat im Garantiefall das
Recht zur Reparatur der Ware bei unserem
eigenen oder bei von uns autorisierten Werk-
stätten. Weitergehende Rechte werden dem
Kunden (aufgrund der Garantie) nicht einge-
räumt.

1. About the unit
The electric toothbrush, moving at up to
approx. 40.000 oscillations per minute, has
been developed for everyday toothbrushing.
The rounded bristles help to keep enamel and
gums healthy by enabling hard-to-access
areas to be thoroughly cleaned. You achieve
a long-lasting fresh feeling and clean teeth.
Follow the instructions in this manual. They
ensure correct handling of the unit and help
you attain optimum treatment results.
The unit is only intended for the purposes
described in these operating instructions. The
manufacturer cannot be held liable for any
damages that are caused through improper
or careless use.
Always pass on these instructions together
with the appliance if you sell it or pass it on.

3. Intended use
Only use the unit for cleaning teeth and for
massaging gums.
The unit is only intended for domestic/private
use, not for commercial use.
This device is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with restricted physical,
sensory or mental capabilities and/or by per-
sons lacking the required understanding of
the equipment and how it is used, unless they
are supervised by a person who is responsi-
ble for their safety or they are given instruc-
tions on how to use the device.
Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not use the device as a toy.
Do not use the unit if one or more of the fol-
lowing warnings apply to you.

• Use the unit only:
– on persons,
– in your mouth,
– for the purpose for which it was designed
and in the manner specified in these oper-
ating instructions.

4. Safety information
Warning
• The unit must only be connected to an AC
network and operated with the voltage
specified on the rating plate.
• The unit must only be operated from a
socket fitted with a residual-current-oper-
ated protective device.
• Do not pull the plug out of the socket by
the cord!
• Under no circumstances should you ever
repair the unit yourself. Danger to life by
electrocution.
• The unit and the cord must not come into
contact with hot surfaces or objects with
sharp edges.
• Do not wind the cord around the unit.
• Do not pull, twist or bend the cord.
• Pull out the plug if there is a malfunction in
operation, when cleaning it and when the
charging unit is not in use.
• Do not use the unit in the open air.
• Children under the age of 3 must not use
the electric toothbrush.
• Do not use any additional parts that are
not recommended by the manufacturer or
offered as an accessory.
Keep the charger away from water
• The charging unit must be kept at a safe
distance from bath tubs, showers, swim-
ming pools, basins and containers filled
with water. According to VDE regulation
0100, the safe distance is at least 60 cm.
We recommend a distance of at least
1 meter.
• If the charging unit falls into water, do not
touch the unit under any circumstances;
instead, pull out the plug immediately and
have the unit checked by a professional
before using again. This also applies if the
plug and/or cord or the charging unit are
damaged.
• Never touch the charging unit with moist or
wet hands while it is plugged in.
• Never touch the charging unit if it is plugged
in and moist or wet or if it is on a wet sur-
face.
• Never immerse the device in water or other
liquids and protect it from all forms of mois-
ture.
To prevent damage to your health,
observe the following point(s):
Warning
• In the case of dental and/or gum illnesses or
inflammation that require treatment, consult
your dentist before using the toothbrush.
• If you have received surgical treatment
on your teeth and/or gums within the last
2 months, ask your dentist before using this
toothbrush.
• Change the brush head if the bristles are
bent. Also change the brush head for
hygiene reasons if the unit was dropped.
• Ask your doctor before using this unit if
you have a pacemaker or other electronic
implants.
• The brush heads should not be shared with
other persons for hygiene reasons.
Before starting
Unpacking
Remove all packaging and retain it for stor-
age later.
If you notice transport damage when unpack-
ing it, contact your dealer.
Warning
• Keep children away from packaging materi-
als (risk of suffocation).
• Switch the unit off immediately if it becomes
faulty or malfunctions.
• Before using the toothbrush, ensure that the
device and accessories (including mains
cable) do not have any visible damage.
Caution
• Never open or attempt to repair the unit
yourself, otherwise proper function is no
longer guaranteed. Opening the unit invali-
dates the guarantee.

6. Operation
Preparing the unit for its first use
Before using it for the first time, the recharge-
able battery built into the handle unit must be
fully charged.
The first charge will take at least 24 hours.
The handle unit then has an operating time of
about 50 minutes.
• Connect the charging unit to the voltage
supply specified on the rating plate.
• Place the handle unit on the charging unit.
Note
• Avoid storing the toothbrush for extended
periods of time in which the toothbrush is
not used, as this will reduce the battery
life.
• The handle unit remains fully charged for
use if you leave it in the charging unit for
daily use.
• Maximum capacity of the rechargeable
battery can be achieved by discharging
the rechargeable battery at least once
every 6 months. Disconnect the charg-
ing unit from the mains and discharge the
rechargeable battery through normal use.
Afterwards, fully charge the rechargeable
battery again.
Charging the battery
• The indicator lamp will light up red during
charging.
• When the battery is fully charged, the indi-
cator lamp will turn green.
• The indicator lamp will flash red when the
battery level is too low.
Using the toothbrush
Note
• When used for the first time, there may be
slight bleeding of the gums. If bleeding of
the gums persists longer than 2 weeks,
consult your dentist. To protect your gums
and teeth, avoid pressing too hard when
brushing.
• Dentists recommend that you brush your
teeth for at least 2 minutes. The unit

switches off automatically after 2 minutes
for safety reasons and to protect your teeth
and gums.
• You are recommended to change the tooth-
brush heads every 2–3 months and at the
latest when the bristles bend outwards.
• Clean the brush head(s) with warm water
before using for the first time.
• Attach the brush head to the handle unit.
• Moisten the toothbrush and squeeze tooth-
paste on it.
• To avoid spray, place the toothbrush at an
angle to the surface of your teeth. Only then
should you switch on the handle unit by
pressing the ON/OFF switch. The handle
unit automatically switches to the highest
speed setting.
• Select the desired speed by pressing the
ON/OFF switch repeatedly: 1 x: Medium;

Cleaning the brush head and handle unit
Caution
• Ensure that no water penetrates the unit.
• Do not clean the unit in the dishwasher.
• Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents or
hard brushes.
• Clean the brush head and handle unit after
each use.
• Remove the brush head from the handle
unit and rinse the brush head thoroughly
under running water.
• The handle may be cleaned with a soft,
damp cloth.
• Dry the parts completely.
Cleaning the charging unit and brush
container
• Disconnect the charging unit from the mains
supply.
• Take the removable brush insert out of the
charging unit. Then you can clean the inte-
rior and the brush insert with a mild cleaning
agent.
• Clean the charging unit including housing
and cover with a slightly damp cloth. Allow
the charging unit to dry completely before
its next use.

8. Disposal
In the interest of protecting the environ-
ment, the unit must not be thrown out with
the household waste at the end of its service
life.
Dispose of the unit at a suitable collection or
recycling point.
Follow the local regulations for dis-
posal of materials. Dispose of the
unit in accordance with EC Directive
2002/96/EC – WEEE (Waste Electri-
cal and Electronic Equipment). For any que-
ries please contact the municipal authority
responsible for disposal.
Standard and rechargeable batteries should
not be disposed of in household waste. As a
consumer, you are legally obliged to return

First, remove the brush head. Then loosen the
screw on the bottom of the handle unit.
Lever the bottom out of the handle unit using
a screwdriver. Turn the unit over and set the
vibrating axis on a hard surface.
Lever the two latches that are now visible
towards the centre of the housing and press
the housing downwards. You can now remove
the rechargeable batteries. Ensure that the
soldered cords are disconnected individu-
ally with pliers.

1. Familiarisation avec l’appareil
La brosse à dents électrique avec un maxi-
mum de 40000 vibrations environ a été
conçue pour le nettoyage quotidien des
dents. Les poils arrondis aident à garder
l’émail et les gencives en bon état en permet-
tant un nettoyage en profondeur des endroits
difficiles d’accès. Le résultat : une sensation
de fraîcheur durable et des dents saines.
Veuillez observer les consignes indiquées
dans cette notice. Elles permettent une
manipulation correcte de l’appareil et vous
aident à obtenir des résultats de traitement
optimaux.
L’appareil est uniquement prévu pour le but

3. Utilisation conforme aux
prescriptions
Utilisez uniquement l’appareil pour le bros-
sage des dents et pour le massage des gen-
cives. L’appareil est uniquement conçu pour
un usage dans un environnement domesti-
que/privé, et non pas pour le domaine pro-
fessionnel.
Ce appareil n’est pas conçu pour être utilisé
par des personnes (dont les enfants) présen-
tant des capacités physiques, sensorielles ou
mentales limitées, manquant d’expérience et/
ou de connaissances, à moins que celles-ci
soient sous la surveillance d’une personne
responsable de leur sécurité ou leur ayant
indiqué comment utiliser l’appareil.

4. Remarques de sécurité

Maintenir le chargeur à l’écart de
l’eau
• La station de charge doit se trouver à une
distance de sécurité par rapport aux bai-
gnoires, douches, piscines, lavabos et réci-
pients remplis d’eau. Conformément à la
prescription VDE 0100, la distance de sécu-
rité est d’au moins 60 cm. Nous recomman-
dons une distance d’au moins 1 mètre.
• Si la station de charge est tombée dans
l’eau, ne touchez en aucun cas l’appareil,
mais débranchez immédiatement la fiche
secteur et faites contrôler l’appareil par un
spécialiste avant de le réutiliser. Cette règle
est également valable si la fiche secteur et/
ou le câble d’alimentation ou la station de
charge sont endommagés.
• Ne pas saisir la station de charge connectée
avec des mains mouillées ou humides.
• Ne saisissez en aucun cas la station de
charge connectée avec les mains si la
station de charge ellemême est humide
ou mouillée ou si elle se trouve sur un sol
humide.
• Ne plongez jamais l’appareil dans l’eau ou
d’autres liquides et protégez-le de toute
humidité.
Afin de prévenir tout dommage corporel,
veuillez observer les points suivants :

• Pour des raisons d’hygiène, les brosses
amovibles ne devraient pas être utilisées

6. Utilisation
Préparation de l’appareil pour la
première utilisation
Avant la première utilisation, l’accumulateur
intégré dans l’appareil doit être entièrement
chargé.
Le premier processus de charge dure au
moins 24 heures.
La durée de fonctionnement de l’appareil est
ensuite d’environ 50 minutes.
• Raccordez la station de charge à la tension
de réseau indiquée sur la plaque signaléti-
que.
• Posez l’appareil sur la station de charge.

Remarque
• Évitez les temps de stockage prolongés
pendant lesquels la brosse à dents n’est
pas utilisée, car ceci diminue la capacité
de la batterie.
• L’appareil est toujours entièrement opéra-
tionnel si vous le laissez dans la station de
charge pour une utilisation quotidienne.
• Vous obtenez une capacité maximale de
l’accumulateur si vous déchargez l’accu-
mulateur au moins une fois tous les 6 mois.
Pour ce faire, débranchez la station de
charge du réseau et videz l’accumula-
teur par le biais d’une utilisation normale.
Rechargez ensuite entièrement l’accumu-
lateur.
Charger la batterie
• Le voyant de contrôle est rouge pendant la
charge.
• Quand la batterie est complètement char-
gée, le voyant de contrôle est vert.
• Le voyant de contrôle clignote rouge quand
l’état de charge de la batterie est trop fai-
ble.
Utilisation
Remarque
• Lors des premières applications il peut en
résulter de légers saignements au niveau de
la gencive. Si les saignements de la gencive
durent plus de 2 semaines, consultez votre
médecin. Evitez une pression trop forte lors
du brossage, pour protéger vos gencives et
vos dents !
• Les dentistes préconisent une durée de
brossage d’au moins 2 minutes. Pour des
raisons de sécurité et pour protéger vos
dents et vos gencives, l’appareil s’arrête
automatiquement au bout de 2 minutes.
• Il est recommandé de renouveler l’embout
de brosse à dents tous les 2 à 3 mois, au
plus tard lorsque les poils sont courbés vers
l’extérieur.
• Avant la première utilisation, nettoyez la/
les brosse(s) amovible(s) avec de l’eau
chaude.
• Montez la brosse amovible sur l’appareil.
• Humidifiez la brosse à dents et appliquez
le dentifrice.
• Pour évitez tout projection, appliquez la
brosse à dents de façon inclinée contre
les surfaces des dents. Mettez seulement
ensuite l’appareil en marche, en pressant
l’interrupteur MARCHE/ARRET. L’appareil
se met tout d’abord automatiquement en
marche avec la vitesse maximale.
• Sélectionnez la vitesse souhaitée en pres-
sant à plusieurs reprises l’interrupteur
MARCHE/ARRET : 1 x : médium ; 2 x : soft ;
3 x : massage ; 4 x : arrêt.
• Guidez lentement la brosse de dent à dent.
– Commencez par les surfaces extérieu-
res.
– Brossez ensuite les surfaces arrière des
molaires.
– Brossez ensuite les surfaces intérieures
et finalement les surfaces occlusales.
• Éteignez l’appareil avant de le sortir de la
bouche pour éviter les éclaboussures.
• Rincez à fond la bouche avec de l’eau.
Remarque
Utilisez uniquement l’appareil avec les acces-
soires fournis de la station SZA 80.
7. Nettoyage et entretien de
l’appareil
Nettoyage de la brosse amovible et de
l’appareil
Attention
• Veillez à ce que l’eau ne puisse par parvenir
à l’intérieur de l’appareil !
• Ne nettoyez pas l’appareil dans le lave-vais-
selle !
• N’utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage aci-
des ou des brosses dures !
• Nettoyez la brosse amovible et l’appareil
après chaque utilisation.

• Retirez la brosse amovible de l’appareil et
rincez à fond la brosse amovible à l’eau cou-
rante.
• Le manche peut être nettoyé avec un chif-
fon doux humidifié.
• Séchez rigoureusement les pièces.
Nettoyage de la station de charge et du
récipient de brosse
• Débranchez la station de charge de l’ali-
mentation électrique.
• Retirez l’insert de brosse extractible de la
station de charge. Vous pouvez ensuite net-
toyer la partie intérieure et l’insert de brosse
avec un produit de nettoyage doux.
• Nettoyez la station de charge, y compris
le boîtier et le couvercle, avec un chiffon
légèrement humidifié. Laissez sécher entiè-
rement la station de charge avant la pro-
chaine utilisation.
• Vous pouvez commander les brosses de
rechange « médium » (par 4) sous le numéro

8. Mise au rebut
Dans l’intérêt de la protection de l’environne-
ment, à la fin de sa durée de vie l’appareil ne
doit pas être éliminé avec les ordures ména-
gères. La mise au rebut peut s’effectuer par
le biais de points de collecte compétents.
Observez les prescriptions locales
concernant l’élimination des maté-
riaux. Eliminez l’appareil confor-
mément à la directive européenne
2002/96/CE – WEEE (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment) relative aux appareils
électriques et électroniques usagés.
Pour toute question, veuillez vous adresser
aux collectivités locales responsables pour
l’élimination et du recyclage de ces produits.
Les piles et les accumulateurs usagés ne doi-
vent pas être jetés avec les ordures ména-
gères. En tant que consommateur, la législa-
tion vous impose de restituer les piles et les

Avant la mise à la ferraille de l’appareil, les
accumulateurs doivent être retirés et rebutés

Pour ce faire, retirez la brosse amovible. Des-
serrez les vis sur le fond de l’appareil.
Retirez le fond de l’appareil en faisant levier
à l’aide d’un tournevis.
Tournez l’appareil et posez l’axe oscillant sur
un support dur.
Pressez à l’aide d’un tournevis les deux lan-
guettes à présent visibles vers le centre du
boîtier et pressez le boîtier vers le bas. Vous
pouvez à présent retirer les accumulateurs.

dei punti difficilmente raggiungibili. Il risultato
saranno denti sani e puliti e una lunga sensa-
zione di freschezza.
Attenersi alle indicazioni del presente
manuale. Forniscono informazioni per il cor-

Tenere l’unità di carica lontana
dall’acqua
• L’unità di carica deve essere installata a
distanza di sicurezza da vasche, docce,
piscine, lavandini e contenitori di acqua. La
direttiva VDE 0100 prevede che la distanza
di sicurezza sia almeno 60 cm. Si consiglia
una distanza di 1 metro.
• Se l’unità di carica cade in acqua, non toc-
care assolutamente l’apparecchio. Staccare
subito la spina di alimentazione e far verifi-
care l’apparecchio da un tecnico prima di
utilizzarlo nuovamente. Ciò vale anche in
caso di danneggiamento della spina e/o del
cavo di alimentazione o dell’unità di carica.
• Non toccare l’unità di carica inserita nella
presa con mani umide o bagnate.
• Non toccare l’unità di carica inserita nella
presa se risulta essa stessa umida o
bagnata oppure se il pavimento è umido.
• Non immergere l’apparecchio nell’acqua o
in altri liquidi e proteggerlo dall’umidità.

Disimballaggio
Rimuovere tutti gli imballaggi e conservarli
per riporre l’apparecchio in futuro.

disimballaggio l’apparecchio risulta danneg-

6. Uso
Preparazione dell’apparecchio per il
primo utilizzo
Prima del primo utilizzo, caricare completa-
mente la batteria installata nell’impugnatura.
La prima carica dura almeno 24 ore.
L’autonomia è di circa 50 minuti.
• Collegare l’unità di carica alla tensione di
rete indicata sulla targhetta.
• Inserire l’impugnatura nell’unità di carica.
Nota
• Non lasciare inutilizzato lo spazzolino per

capacità delle batterie.
• Lasciandola nell’unità di carica per tutto
il corso della giornata, l’impugnatura sarà
sempre pronta all’uso.
• Per sfruttare al meglio la capacità delle
batterie, scaricarle almeno una volta ogni
6 mesi. A tale scopo, staccare l’unità di
carica dall’alimentazione e far scaricare
la batteria con il normale uso. Ricaricare
quindi la batteria completamente.
Caricamento della batteria
• Durante il caricamento la spia di controllo
è accesa e di colore rosso.
• Al termine del caricamento della batteria, la
spia di controllo diventa verde.
• La spia di controllo è lampeggiante di colore
rosso quando il livello di carica delle batte-
rie è troppo basso.
Uso
Nota
• Durante i primi utilizzi è probabile che le
gengive sanguinino. Nel caso il sanguina-
mento si protragga per più di due settimane,
consultare il proprio dentista. Per proteg-
gere denti e gengive, non esercitare una
pressione eccessiva durante la pulizia.
• I dentisti consigliano un tempo di pulizia
di almeno 2 minuti. Per motivi di sicurezza
e per proteggere denti e gengive, l’appa-
recchio si spegne automaticamente dopo
2 minuti.

• Si consiglia di sostituire la testina ogni
2–3 mesi, al più tardi quando le setole si
piegano verso l’esterno.
• Prima del primo utilizzo, pulire le testine con
acqua calda.
• Inserire la testina sull’impugnatura.
• Inumidire lo spazzolino e applicare il denti-
fricio.
• Per evitare schizzi, inclinare lo spazzolino
rispetto alla superficie del dente. Quindi
accendere l’apparecchio premendo l’inter-
ruttore ON/OFF. L’apparecchio si accende
alla massima velocità.
• Premendo più volte l’interruttore ON/OFF,
selezionare la velocità desiderata: 1 volta:
Medio; 2 volte: Soft; 3 volte: Massaggio;
4 volte: OFF.
• Spostare lo spazzolino lentamente da un
dente all’altro.
– Iniziare dalle superfici esterne.
– Pulire quindi le superfici posteriori dei
denti.
– Pulire quindi le superfici interne e infine le
superfici di masticazione.
• Spegnere l’apparecchio prima di estrarlo
dalla bocca per evitare schizzi.
• Sciacquare bene la bocca con acqua.
Nota
Utilizzare l’apparecchio solo con gli accessori
in dotazione a SZA 80.
7. Pulizia e cura dell’apparecchio
Pulizia della testina e dell’impugnatura
Attenzione
• Accertarsi che non penetri acqua all’interno
dell’apparecchio!
• Non lavare l’apparecchio in lavastoviglie!
• Non utilizzare detergenti corrosivi o spaz-
zole dure!
• Pulire la testina e l’impugnatura dopo ogni
utilizzo.
• Rimuovere la testina dall’impugnatura e
lavare bene la testina sotto acqua cor-
rente.
• Pulire l’impugnatura con un panno morbido
inumidito.
• Asciugare accuratamente le parti.
Pulizia dell’unità di carica e del
portaspazzolino
• Scollegare l’unità di carica dalla corrente.
• Estrarre il supporto estraibile dall’unità di
carica. Pulire quindi la parte interna e il sup-
porto con detergente delicato.
• Pulire l’unità di carica completa di corpo
e coperchio utilizzando un panno legger-
mente inumidito. Far asciugare completa-
mente l’unità di carica prima del successivo
utilizzo.
• Per ordinare le testine di ricambio in con-
fezioni da 4 tipo Medio, indicare il codice
d’ordine SZA 08. N° tel. [phone]
8. Smaltimento
A tutela dell’ambiente, al termine del suo uti-
lizzo l’apparecchio non deve essere smaltito
nei rifiuti domestici.
Lo smaltimento deve avvenire negli appositi
centri di raccolta.
Per lo smaltimento dei materiali atte-
nersi alle direttive locali. Smaltire
l’apparecchio secondo la direttiva
europea sui rifiuti di apparecchiature
elettriche ed elettroniche 2002/96/CE (RAEE) .
In caso di dubbi, rivolgersi agli enti comunali
responsabili in materia di smaltimento.
Le batterie e gli accumulatori non sono rifiuti
domestici. Gli utilizzatori sono tenuti per
legge a restituire le batterie e gli accumula-
tori esausti.
È possibile consegnare le batterie esauste
presso i punti di raccolta del vostro comune
o presso i rivenditori di batterie e accumula-
tori del tipo utilizzato.
