Read these instructions carefully
before using this product.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of injury:
• This product is intended to filter tap water only. Do not use water of
unknown quality or that has been microbiologically impaired.
• If official instructions have been issued to boil tap water before
consuming, the water filtered by this product must also be boiled either
before or after filtration.
• If persons with weakened immune systems, such as babies or the elderly,
have been advised to boil tap water before consuming it, the water
filtered by this product must also be boiled either before or after
filtration.
NOTICE - To reduce the risk of product damage, filter only cold or room
temperature water with this product. Do not pass hot water through it.

2. Rinse the filter under running
water for 10 seconds.
NOTE: the filters fit Brita , PUR and most
other popular water pitchers.
3. Insert filter into pitcher, press
firmly to ensure tight seal.
4. Fill the reservoir of the pitcher with
water. Allow all the water to filter
through then discard it.
Do this twice.
The third pitcher of filtered water
is ready for drinking.
5. Set the filter life indicator
If using a Brita , PUR pitcher or
other pitchers, consult the user
manual of the pitcher for
instruction on resetting the filter
life indicator.

For best results:
• Keep the filter moist by maintaining the water level in the pitcher above the
bottom of the filter
• Replace the filter every 60 days or every 160 liters
NOTES:
• Internal components of the filter are treated with silver to help reduce germs
• Filter capacity: 160 liters (42.2 gallons)
• Filter capacity per day: 10 liters (2.6 gallons)
1. Wash your hands before removing
the filter from its package. Soak the
filter upright in cold or room
temperature water for 10 minutes.
NOTICE: Always use cold or room
temperature water with the filters.
