Thank you for purchasing the Savage BP-190 High-Power Li-Ion V-Mount Battery.
Please read this instruction manual before use, and keep for later reference.
CAUTION FOR SAFE USE:
Improper handling of this Li-Ion battery may result in smoke, heat, re, explosion or
leakage as well as cause performance degradation or failure. Please be sure to o
bserve the following precautions.
WARNING
• Charge with professional charger only.
• Do not short the contact pins with any metal objects.
• Do not carry or store with metal equipment.
• Do not immerse in water.
• Keep the battery dry and away from excessively humid environments.
• Do not leave the battery exposed to excessive heat such as in a car or direct sunlight.
• Do not use outside of specied temperature ranges.
• Do not attempt to open the outer casing or break apart the battery.
• Do not subject the unit to extreme physical impact or pressure, or place any object
across the terminals that could cause it to short.
• Do not attempt to use the battery if damaged.
• Do not use the battery in a corrosive environment. Damages occur from salt water,
acid, alkali, corrosive gas, etc.
• Please note that the outside casing becomes hot when the battery is discharged in
high temperatures or with high loads.
• Stop charging immediately if the battery fails to charge within designated time.
• Do not use if the battery displays unusual characteristics (odd odor, discoloration, etc.)
when in use during charge or storage.
• In case of leakage immediately wash your hands thoroughly with water. Immediately
seek medical attention if battery uid gets in contact with your eyes.
• Follows instructions on charging and discharging.
• During long period of inactivity, please remove the battery from the equipment.
• Do not use, store or place the battery in an electrostatic area.
• Always keep the connectors clean.

PRODUCT FEATURES
The BP-190 High-Power Li-Ion V-Mount Battery has double+ and double- output
(a standard battery has 1+ and 1-). The battery main output + and - adopt 2 square
millimeter copper terminals. It allows 14A and 160 watt continuous output. Together
with a professional 7 terminal V-plate you can achieve more stable and continuous
high power output.
This battery is designed for high-power LED video lights, high-power video cameras
with accessories, and other heavy load equipment. The battery cells allow 3c discharge;
it has low internal resistance and less heat. It is equipped with 2.5A USB output to provide
power to USB equipment. The battery life remaining has 8 grade indicator.

CHARGING
• Max charge current is 6A. Charge this battery under 6A.
• It is recommended to charge this battery between 10°C and 30°C/ 50°F and 86°F.
• Please use our included D-TAP travel charger or other chargers designed for batteries
that meet the specications of this battery as listed below.
DISCHARGING
• The max total continuous discharging power is 160 watts. The main power is 160
watts max. The D-TAP power is 70 watts max. The USB power is 12.5 watts max.
When the main power is discharging at 160 watts full power, the D-TAP and USB
cannot be used. If the total power exceeds 160 watts, the protective circuit will be
activated and it will stop discharging and may cause damage to the battery. If the fuse
is blown due to an overload, the battery will not recover.
• The battery life may diminish if high loads are applied frequently.
• Battery run time may be reduced in extreme high and low temperature. It is
highly recommended to use the battery in ambient temperature of 10°C-40°C/
50°F-104°F.
• The discharge characteristics of this lithium ion battery have a steady discharge curve
until 13v.
• The battery will automatically stop discharging when the voltage reaches 11v. To
extend battery life, we recommended to stop using before the battery reaches 12v.
• Please be sure to remove the battery from the device after use. If the battery is left
mounted on the device that has standby power, the battery will be exhausted.
CAPACITY DISPLAY LEDS
• The remaining battery capacity is displayed with 8 LED bars.
• Press the check button and the LED bars will illuminate. The readout will go dark 10
seconds after the button is released to save power.
• When the battery reaches the last bar, it will icker to remind the user to change the
battery. When all LEDs are off, the battery will be exhausted.
• The capacity remaining is based on battery voltage. It varies according to the load, so
it is only for approximate reference.
PROTECTION CIRCUITRY
• There are four types of protective circuits to ensure the battery is protected from over
charge, over discharge, over current and over heat. If the protection fuse is blown, the
battery is no longer operable.
• Please charge the battery immediately when the over discharge protection is
activated. The battery may become unusable if the battery is not charged immediately.
USB
• USB connector for power supply (DC 5V, 2.5A).
• USB power will turn off automatically 10 seconds after the USB cable is removed.
• Do not draw power from USB when charging as it may interrupt charging and cause a
charge error.
• The terminal does not provide data, only power.
• The USB power output will not begin to charge the connected device until the battery
test button is pressed.

STORAGE
• Store in cool and dry conditions.
• Do not store or leave in temperatures of 50°C/ 122°F or above.
• For long term storage, it is recommended to store within about 30%-40% of
capacity and recharge every 5 months.
• Deterioration of battery performance will accelerate if the battery is stored in a
high ambient temperature or stored for a long period without use.
LIFE CYCLE
• Life span may vary depending on frequency of use, storage and operational
temperature environment.
• Life span will be reduced if frequently used with high load applications.
• Life span is also reduced if stored in fully charged or empty conditions for
extended periods.
