DE01ERK
Introduction
The DE01ERK is a DVI extender that can use a cost-effective Ethernet cable to carry the signal with a
transmission distance of up to 70M. With DVI Adaptors, users can transmit high-quality digital video of PC
applications thru one cost-effective CAT5/5e to the remote monitor or projector, instead of using short
and expensive DVI cables. Additionally, the passive extender requires no power to enable itself and is
suitable for severe environments like factories and construction sites —monitoring the working
environment from distance for safety purposes.
Features
Resolution up to 1920 x 1200.
Signal extension up to 50M at 1920 x 1200.
No power is required for both Tx and Rx units.
Built-in micro USB for external power at Tx unit when connected DVI source can't provide enough
power to the receiver.

Transmission Distance
When your DVI source cannot provide enough power to the receiver, you can input power via the built-in
micro USB port of DE01ET.
For example, when you connect multiple DE01ERKs to a DVI distributor, the power consumption may
exceed the limitation of the DVI device. In this case, please use micro USB to DC plug cable (Package
included) to connect a 5V power adaptor (Optional) for external power.

Cable
To reach long transmission distance and stability, using high quality CAT5E UTP or CAT6 UTP cable
is recommended.
DO NOT use STP or flat cable, which may cause no video output.

Caution
The cabling must away from any equipment with electromagnetic wave, i.e.: microwave, radio
equipment, high voltage.
Working distance will be variety based on different equipment.
The picture may come with noise under the resolution 640 x 480
HDCP not supported.
Do not use STP cable or flat cable which may cause no video output.
