The PoE Switch must be installed in a clean, dry
environment where it will not be exposed to high
temperatures, moisture or excessive dust.
·
Do not touch the PoE Switch or any of its connections with
wet hands.
·
Ensure the power is switched off if the PoE Switch is not in
use for a long period of time.
·
There are no user serviceable parts in the PoE Switch and
opening or attempting to repair the product will void the
warranty.
·
Only use the PSU originally supplied with the product.
·
Do not install or use the device if the power cable is
damaged.
The POE606 is a power 1Gbps 4 way switch that can supply up to 71W of power per port.
Designed for higher load POE CCTV Equipment such as PTZs or you can use it to power other devices
such as PoE extenders.
Because of the very high 71W output per port the power supply is external to the switch supplied with
it.
Setup Options
Option 1
To power IP Cameras using the PoE switch
then connect the IP Cameras using
CAT5e/CAT6 Ethernet Cable, for longer
distances we recommend using high
quality cable, with solid copper cores.
Option 2
Provide network infrastructure to PoE and
non-PoE Devices, like computers, and other
Network devices.

Check power to device from external source. Check that
the power lead (IEC lead) is plugged in to the PSU and
the PSU is plugged into the switch.
Loose connection
Check that the power lead (IEC lead) is plugged in to the
PSU and the PSU is plugged into the switch.
Network light not
flashing
Poor quality cable or
termination
Check the Ethernet cabling to your device is of good
quality and is terminated correctly.
No PoE on

Check the load devicesare not above the total power
consumption of the switch.
Cable length
Check the distance of Ethernet cable to your device.
Ethernet cables have a 100m maximum length.

Faulty cable or device
Turn the power off to the switch & unplug the load
devices (Check Ethernet cabling to load devices). Leave
the switch turned off for 10 seconds and then power the
switch back up, plug each device back into switch
individually to help troubleshoot the suspect cable.

POE152 - Quick Start Guide

The POE152 must be installed in a clean, dry environment

Do not install or use the device if the CAT5e/CAT6 Ethernet
Cables connected are damaged.
The POE152 is a high speed IP PoE extender and 2 way splitter.
Full 1Gbps in and out this is a really useful piece of kit for both extending PoE past the 100m mark and
also adding on a 2nd IP device or connection.
Powered by the inbound IP for ease of installation.
How It Works
The POE152 is easy to install into an IP CCTV systemas shown below. It can be installed at the end of a
100 meters network cable to extend the network and PoE supply by 100 meters at full speed.
