HYDRO SILK-System
Systembeschreibung
Die Bedienung des Schmidlin HYDRO SILK-Systems ist bewusst sehr einfach
gehalten. Die Betätigung der Funktionen erfolgt über den runden Taster an
der Innenseite der Badewanne

Bedienung HYDRO SILK
Wird die Steuerung ans Netz angeschlossen, blinkt die Statusanzeige (LED -
Light Emitting Diode) oberhalb der Funktionstaste «HYDRO SILK» pro Sekunde
für eine Zeit von 0,5 Sekunden auf (Netzspannung vorhanden).
Der Taster hat nur eine Funktionstate (nur HYDRO SILK). Jede eingebaute
Option hat einen eigenen runden Taster an der Innenseite der Badewanne.
Wichtig
Das HYDRO SILK-System nie ohne Wasser betreiben! Die Pumpe kann
schon nach wenigen Minuten im Trockenlauf bleibend beschädigt werden.
Das HYDRO SILK-System erst bei einem Füllstand von 5 cm über den
Düsen einschalten.
Das HYDRO SILK-System schaltet nach 20 Minuten automatisch aus. Die
automatische Abschaltung ist eine Schutzfunktion gegen unbeaufsich-
tigten Betrieb des Whirlsystems.

Reinigung
Nach jeder Benützung die Badewanne entleeren und mit Wasser ausspülen.
Leichte Verschmutzungen mit einem milden Reinigungsmittel entfernen. Bei
stärkeren Verschmutzungen das Reinigungsmittel kurz einwirken lassen. Mit
Wasser gut ausspülen.
Beim HYDRO SILK-System regelmässig eine Desinfektion gemäss Beschrei-
bung unter «Desinfektion» (Seite 9) durchführen.
Nach erfolgter Ausspülung / Desinfektion: Die Badewanne und alle Chrom-
teile mit einem weichen, staubfreien Tuch trocknen.
Desinfektion HYDRO SILK
Das HYDRO SILK-System ist regelmässig (speziell vor der ersten Benutzung
und nach längerer Nichtbenutzung) zu desinzieren.
Anwendung und Dosierung gemäss den Angaben auf der Flasche durch-
führen. Das Desinfektionsmittel einer Wannenfüllung von mindestens 5 cm
über den Düsen beigeben.
Für die regelmässige Desinfektion kann das von Schmidlin empfohlene
Desinfektionsmittel verwendet werden. Dieses ist speziell auf die Materialien
der Schmidlin Whirlkomponenten abgestimmt und ist über den Fachhandel
oder direkt bei Schmidlin erhältlich. Bei Verwendung von Badezusätzen ist die
Desinfektion mit Frischwasser (Füllstand 5 cm über den Düsen) durchzuführen.
Reinigung der Ansaugung
Garantie
Auf das Schmidlin HYDRO SILK-System gewähren wir eine erweiterte Garantie
von 2 Jahren.
Das Ansauggitter seitlich greifen, um dieses aus der Fas-
sung zu ziehen und zu entfernen. Haare und sonstige
Verschmutzungen vorsichtig entfernen. Keine scharfen
Gegenstände verwenden, damit das zweite Schutzsieb
nicht beschädigt wird. Nach erfolgter Reinigung das An-
sauggitter wieder in die Fassung drücken.
Wichtig
Die Badewanne nach jedem Gebrauch entleeren, da bei längerem stehendem
Wasser Chromabsplitterungen an den Düsen auftreten können.
Keine chlorhaltigen Desinfektionsmittel oder aggressive Reiniger bzw.
Entkalker verwenden!
Kalkablagerungen können durch konsequentes Austrocknen vermieden
werden. Kalkrückstände lassen sich mit einer lauwarmen, im Verhältnis 1:1
verdünnten Wasser-Essig-Lösung entfernen. Wichtig: Keine Essigessenz
unverdünnt anwenden!

Bei aktivierter Funktion (1x drücken) wird das gesamte
Farbspektrum langsam durchlaufen. Die gewünschte
Farbe kann durch Drücken der Funktionstaste «Stopp»
festgehalten werden.
1x drücken aktuelle Farbe festhalten
2x drücken Farbspektrum Durchlauf fortsetzen
Im Modus «Direkte Farbauswahl»
1x drücken Mit jeder Tastenbetätigung wechselt
die Farbe in folgender Reihenfolge:
rot, gelb, grün, türkis, blau, violett,
weiss.
1x drücken Scheinwerfer einschalten
2x drücken Scheinfwerfer ausschalten
Die Temperaturanzeige wird automatisch aktiviert, sobald
Wasser auf den Sensor tri. Der Sensor bendet sich im
unteren Bereich auf der Innenseite der Badewanne.
Farblicht-Therapie (optional)
Die Farblicht-Therapie ist eine Unterwasser Power-LED, welche das ganze
Farbspektrum bietet. Die Farben können kontinuierlich wechselnd oder
konstant gewählt werden.
Scheinwerfer (optional)
Wird die Steuerung ans Netz angeschlossen, so blinkt die Statusanzeige (LED
– Light Emitting Diode) der Funktionstaste «Scheinwerfer» alle 8 Sekunden
für eine Zeit von 0,5 Sekunden auf (= Netzspannung vorhanden).
Temperaturanzeige (optional)
Wichtig
Die Farblicht Power-LED nur bei gefüllter Wanne einschalten.
Die Power-LED ist sehr lichtstark. Nie mit den Augen direkt in den Strahl
schauen!
Das Farblicht schaltet nach 20 Minuten automatisch aus. Die automatische
Abschaltung ist eine Schutzfunktion gegen unbeaufsichtigten Betrieb und
allfällige Überhitzung.
Wichtig
Bei eingebautem Scheinwerfer verfügt das Whirlsystem über einen
Trockenlaufschutz (TLS), da der Scheinwerfer nur bei gefüllter Wanne
betrieben werden darf. Der Scheinwerfer wird durch das Füllwasser
gekühlt, damit die Abdichtung nicht zu stark erhitzt wird. Wenn das
Wasser in der Wanne den TLS-Sensor (über dem Scheinwerfer angeord-
net) erreicht, kann der Scheinwerfer aktiviert werden.
Der Scheinwerfer schaltet nach 20 Minuten automatisch aus. Die auto-
matische Abschaltung ist eine Schutzfunktion gegen unbeaufsichtigten
Betrieb und allfällige Überhitzung.

Système HYDRO SILK
Description du système
Le mode d’utilisation du système HYDRO SILK est délibérément d’une très
grande simplicité. Les diérentes fonctions sont gérées par des boutons-pous-
soirs ronds placés à l’intérieur de la baignoire.

Mode d‘utilisation du système HYDRO SILK
Si la commande est raccordée au secteur, le voyant d’état (LED – Light Emitting
Diode) au-dessus de la touche fonctionnelle «HYDRO SILK» clignote pendant 0,5
s toutes les secondes (= tension secteur disponible).
Les bouton-poussoir a soit une seule touche fonctionnelle (HYDO SILK). Chaque
option intégrée possède son propre bouton-poussoir à l’intérieur de la
baignoire.
Important
Ne jamais utiliser le système HYDRO SILK sans eau! Quelques minutes
de fonctionnement à sec susent à endommager la pompe.
Ne mettre le système HYDRO SILK en route que lorsque le niveau d’eau
est à 5 cm au-dessus des buses de massage de la nuque.
Le système HYDRO SILK s’éteint automatiquement après 20 minutes.
Cette mise hors circuit automatique permet d’éviter un fonctionnement
sans surveillance du système Whirl.

Nettoyage
Après chaque utilisation, vider la baignoire et la rincer avec de l’eau. Éliminer
les légères salissures avec un détergent doux. Si les taches sont plus tenaces,
laisser agir brièvement le détergent puis rincer soigneusement
avec de l’eau.
Si le système HYDRO SILK est utilisé, procéder à une désinfection régulière
conformément à la description gurant sous «Désinfection» (page 17).
Une fois le rinçage / la désinfection ou encore le séchage nal terminé/e,
sécher la baignoire et toutes les pièces chromées en utilisant un chion
doux et non poussiéreux.
Désinfection du système HYDRO SILK
Le système HYDRO SILK doit être régulièrement désinfecté (notamment
avant la première utilisation ainsi qu’après une longue période d’inutilisation).
Suivre les indications stipulées sur le acon pour savoir comment l’utiliser et
le doser. Verser le désinfectant dans une baignoire remplie jusqu’à au moins
5 cm au-dessus des buses.
Le désinfectant recommandé par Schmidlin peut être utilisé pour une dé-
sinfection régulière. Ce produit est conçu spécialement pour les matériaux
dont sont faits les divers éléments Whirl de Schmidlin. Il peut être acheté soit
dans le commerce spécialisé, soit directement auprès de Schmidlin.
Si des produits pour le bain sont utilisés, procéder à une désinfection avec
de l’eau fraîche (niveau: 5 cm au-dessus des buses).
Nettoyage de l’aspiration
Saisir la grille d’aspiration par les côtés pour l’extraire de son support et
la retirer. Éliminer avec précautions les cheveux et autres saletés. Ne pas
utiliser d’objets coupants pour éviter d’endommager le second tamis de
protection. À l’issue du nettoyage, ré-encher la grille d’aspiration dans son
logement.
Garantie
Pour le système HYDRO SILK nous accordons 2 ans de garantie.
Important
Vider la baignoire après chaque utilisation car une stagnation prolongée de
l’eau peut écailler le chrome des buses.
Ne pas utiliser de désinfectants contenant du chlore ou des produits de
nettoyage corrosifs voire des détartrants!
Les dépôts calcaires peuvent être évités grâce à un séchage minutieux. Les
résidus calcaires peuvent être éliminés avec une solution d’eau et de vinaigre
tiède dans un rapport de 1:1. Important: ne pas utiliser de l’essence de vinaigre
non diluée!

Lorsque la fonction est activée (appuyer 1x), tout le spectre
des couleurs déle lentement. La couleur souhaitée peut
être sélectionnée en appuyant sur la touche fonctionnelle
«Stop».

Après chaque utilisation, (également pour les douches)
il faut activer le séchage nal.
Pour l’arrêter, appuyer brièvement une fois sur la touche
fonctionnelle.
Chromothérapie (en option)
La chromothérapie est un projecteur Power-LED subaquatique qui offre le
spectre complet des couleurs. Les couleurs peuvent au choix soit changer
continuellement, soit rester fixes.
Projecteur (en option)
Si la commande est raccordée au secteur, le voyant d’état (LED – Light Emit-
ting Diode) de la touche fonctionnelle «Projecteur» clignote pendant 0,5 s
toutes les 8 secondes (= tension secteur disponible).
Indicateur de température (en option)
Important
Ne mettre le projecteur Power-LED en route que lorsque la baignoire
est remplie.
Ce spot est très puissant. Ne jamais le regarder directement!
Le spot s’éteint automatiquement après 20 minutes. Cette mise hors
circuit automatique permet d’éviter un fonctionnement sans surveillance
et toute surchaue éventuelle.
Important
Lorsqu’un projecteur est intégré, le système Whirl est équipé d’une
protection contre la marche à sec car une mise en route du projecteur
n’est autorisée que si la baignoire est pleine. Le projecteur est refroidi
par l’eau dans la baignoire pour que les joints ne soient pas soumis à
une chaleur trop forte. Lorsque l’eau dans la baignoire atteint le détec-
teur du dispositif de protection contre la marche à sec (au-dessus du
projecteur), le projecteur peut être mis en marche.
Le projecteur s’éteint automatiquement après 20 minutes. Cette mise
hors circuit automatique permet d’éviter un fonctionnement sans sur-
veillance et toute surchaue éventuelle.

Descrizione del sistema
L’utilizzo dei sistemi d’idromassaggio Schmidlin è volutamente molto semplice.
Le singole funzioni possono essere attivate mediante i pulsanti rotondi sulla
parete interna della vasca.

Funzionamento HYDRO SILK
Quando il quadro di comando è collegato alla rete elettrica, l’indicazione dello
stato (LED – Light Emitting Diode) sopra il pulsante «HYDRO SILK» lampeggia
per 0,5 secondi ogni secondo segnalando che l’apparecchio è sotto tensione
Il pulsanti ha un solo tasto di funzione (solo HYDRO SILK). Ogni opzione
disponibile è selezionabile attraverso un apposito pulsante rotondo sulla
parete interna della vasca.
Importante
Il sistema HYDRO SILK non deve mai essere attivato senz’acqua! Pochi
minuti di funzionamento a secco sono sucienti per danneggiare in
modo permanente la pompa.
Attivare il sistema HYDRO SILK solo se la quantità di acqua presente nella
vasca supera di 5 cm gli ugelli all’altezza della nuca.
Il sistema HYDRO SILK si spegne automaticamente dopo 20 minuti. Lo
spegnimento automatico è una funzione di protezione contro il funzi-
onamento non sorvegliato del sistema d’idromassaggio.

Pulizia
La vasca deve essere vuotata e risciacquata dopo ogni utilizzo. Eliminare le
macchie leggere con un detergente delicato. Per macchie più tenaci lasciar
agire brevemente il detergente. Risciacquare bene con acqua.
Il sistema HYDRO SILK deve essere disinfettato a scadenze regolari come
descritto al punto «Disinfezione del sistema d’idromassaggio HYDRO SILK»
(pag. 25).
Dopo il risciacquo il sistema HYDRO SILK deve essere asciugato come de-
scritto al punto «Asciugatura nale del sistema HYDRO SILK» (pag. 25).
Dopo il risciacquo e/o la disinfezione della vasca e dopo aver attivato l’as-
ciugatura nale, asciugare la vasca e tutte le parti cromate con uno stro-
naccio soce e pulito.
Disinfezione del systema HYDRO SILK
Il sistema d’idromassaggio HYDRO SILK deve essere disinfettato regolarmente
(e soprattutto prima del primo utilizzo e se è rimasto inutilizzato a lungo).
Il prodotto deve essere utilizzato e dosato in base a quanto indicato sulla
bottiglia. Aggiungere il disinfettante a una quantità di acqua che superi di
almeno 5 cm gli ugelli.
Per la disinfezione regolare potete utilizzare il disinfettante raccomandato
da Schmidlin. Questo prodotto è indicato per i materiali dei componenti degli
idromassaggi Schmidlin e può essere acquistato presso i rivenditori specia-
lizzati o direttamente da Schmidlin.
Se per il vostro idromassaggio aggiungete una o più sostanze all’acqua, la
disinfezione deve essere eettuata con acqua fresca (livello di riempimento
di 5 cm al di sopra degli ugelli).
Importante
Vuotare la vasca dopo ogni utilizzo per evitare che le parti in cromo degli
ugelli e delle bocchette si scheggino a causa del ristagno di acqua.
Non utilizzare prodotti disinfettanti contenenti cloro o detergenti / prodotti
anticalcare aggressivi!
I depositi di calcare possono essere evitati asciugando la vasca dopo ogni
uso. I residui di calcare possono essere rimossi con una soluzione tiepida
1:1 di acqua e aceto. Importante: non utilizzare essenza di aceto non diluita!
Pulizia della bocchetta di aspirazione
Aerrare il ltro di aspirazione sul lato per estrarlo e rimuoverlo dalla
sua sede. Levare con cura i capelli e la rimanente sporcizia. Non utilizzare
oggetti taglienti per non danneggiare il secondo ltro di protezione. Dopo
la rimozione della sporcizia premere di nuovo la griglia di aspirazione nella
sua sede.

Il sistema Schmidlin HYDRO SILK benecio di una garanzia di 2 anni.

Premere 1 volta per attivare la cromoterapia.
Premere 2 volte per spegnere la cromoterapia.
2 secondi per selezionare la modalità
«Scegliere un colore».
Una volta attivata la funzione (premere 1 volta) vengono
passati in rassegna tutti i colori. Il colore desiderato può
essere selezionato premendo il pulsante «Stop».
Premere 1 volta per selezionare il colore attuale.
Premere 2 volte per tornare alla rassegna di colori.
Nella modalità «Scegliere un colore»
Premere 1 volta Ogni volta che premete il pulsante il
colore cambia con questa
sequenza: rosso, giallo, verde,
t urchese, blu, viola, bianco.
Premere 1 volta per accendere il faro subacqueo.
Premere 2 volte per spegnere il faro subacqueo.
L’indicazione della temperatura è attivata automatica-
mente non appena l’acqua raggiunge il sensore che si
trova nella parte inferiore all’interno della vasca.
Cromoterapia (optional)
La cromoterapia è costituita da un PowerLED subacqueo comprendente
l’intera gamma di colori. È possibile selezionare un colore determinato o
scegliere la funzione di rassegna dei colori disponibili.
Faro subacqueo (optional)
Quando il quadro di comando è collegato alla rete elettrica, l’indicazione dello
stato (LED – Light Emitting Diode) del pulsante «Faro» lampeggia per 0,5
secondi ogni 8 secondi segnalando che l’apparecchio è sotto tensione.
Indicazione della temperatura (optional)
Importante
Attivare la cromoterapia solo quando la vasca è piena.
La luce colorata del PowerLED è molto luminosa: non guardare mai
direttamente il fascio di luce.
La luce colorata si spegne automaticamente dopo 20 minuti. Lo spegni-
mento automatico è una funzione di protezione contro il funzionamento
non sorvegliato e l’eventuale surriscaldamento.
Importante
Se la vasca è dotata di un faro subacqueo, il sistema d’idromassaggio
è provvisto di una protezione contro il funzionamento a secco (PFS)
poiché il faro può essere azionato solo se la vasca è piena.
Infatti il faro è rareddato dall’acqua presente nella vasca per evitare
che la guarnizione si surriscaldi e può quindi essere attivato solamente
se l’acqua raggiunge il sensore PFS (posizionato sopra il faro).
Il faro subacqueo si spegne automaticamente dopo 20 minuti. Lo speg-
nimento automatico è una funzione di protezione contro il funziona-
mento non sorvegliato e l’eventuale surriscaldamento.

System description
Operation of the Schmidlin HYDRO SILK system has deliberately been kept
very easy. The functions are operated by a round button on the inside of the
bathtub.

Operation HYDRO SILK
The status display (LED – light-emitting diode) above the function key «HYDRO
SILK» flashes for 0.5 seconds every second when the controller is connected
to the mains (= mains voltage present).
The button has only one control key (HYDRO SILK only). Each fitted option
has its own round button on the inside of the bathtub.
Important
Never operate the HYDRO SILK system without water! The pump could
suer permanent damage if run dry for only a few minutes.
Only switch the HYDRO SILK system on when the water level is 5 cm
above the neck jet.
The HYDRO SILK system is switched o automatically after 20 minutes.
The automatic cut-out is a safety function against accidental operation
of the system.

Cleaning
Empty the bathtub and rinse with water after every use. Light dirt can be
removed with a mild detergent. Leave the detergent to take eect for a while
on more stubborn dirt. Rinse well with water.
Disinfect the HYDRO SILK system regularly in accordance with the description
under «Disinfection of the HYDRO SILK system» (page 33).
Carry out nal drying of the HYDRO SILK whirl system after rinsing in
accordance with the description under «Final drying of the HYDRO SILK
system» (page 33).
After rinsing / disinfecting and/or nal drying: dry the bathtub and all chrome
parts with a soft, dust-free cloth.
Disinfection Of the HYDRO SILK system
The HYDRO SILK system should be disinfected regularly (especially before
using for the rst time and if it has not be used for a longer period of time).
Pay attention to the instructions for use and dosage on the bottle. Add the
disinfectant to a tub lling of at least 5 cm above the nozzles.
The disinfectant recommended by Schmidlin can be used for regular
disinfection. This is specially matched to the materials used for the Schmidlin
whirl components and is available from specialist dealers or Schmidlin directly.
If bath additives are used, disinfect the tub with fresh water (lling level
5 cm above the nozzles).
Cleaning the air inlet
Warranty
We grant a 2 year warranty on Schmidlin HYDRO SILK system.
Important
Empty the bathtub after every use since chrome can ake from the nozzles
if water is left in the bathtub for longer periods of time.
Do not use any disinfectants that contain chlorine or aggressive detergents
and descaler!
Lime scale deposits can be avoided by always wiping the surfaces dry after
use. Lime scale deposits can be removed with a lukewarm water-vinegar
solution (diluted 1:1). Important: do not use undiluted vinegar concentrate!
Grip the air inlet grille on the side to pull it away from
the frame and remove it. Carefully remove hair and
other dirt. To avoid damaging the second protective
mesh, do not use sharp objects. After cleaning, press
the air inlet grille back into the frame.

The temperature display is activated automatically as
soon as the water reaches the sensor. The sensor is located
in the lower part of the bathtub on the inside.
Colour-light therapy (optional)
The colour-light therapy is an underwater power LED that provides the com-
plete colour spectrum. The function can be set to either constantly change
colours or maintain a single colour.
Spotlight (optional)
The status display (LED – light-emitting diode) for the function key «Spot-
light» ashes for 0.5 seconds every 8 seconds when the controller is connected
to the mains (= mains voltage present).
Temperature display (optional)
Important
Only switch the colour-light power LED on when the tub is full.
The Power LED is very bright. Never look into the beam directly!
The colour-light function is switched o automatically after 20 minutes.
The automatic cut-out is a safety function against accidental operation
and possible overheating.
Important
If a spotlight has been tted the whirl system is protected against dry
running (TLS) since the spotlight may only be operated when the tub is
full. The spotlight is cooled by the water in the tub so that the seal does
not overheat. The spotlight can be activated once the water in the tub
reaches the TLS sensor (located above the spotlight).
The spotlight is switched o automatically after 20 minutes. The automatic
cut-out is a safety function against accidental operation and possible
overheating.

When the function is activated (press once) the LED
slowly passes through the complete colour spectrum. A
specic colour can be selected by pressing the «Stop»
function key when the colour appears.
