OPERATION
Power on/Pairing: Press the multifunction button (MFB)
to
turn on
the BOOMBOTTLE
H20.
A tone prompt will sound, and the unit will
immediately search for and pair with previously connected devices.
I.
In
your device's Bluetooth menu, search
for
and select
"Scosche boomBOTTLE
H20".
II.
While in search modethe Blue LED flashes 2 times then pauses
for
2 seconds. If pairing is successful the Blue LED flashes 3
times then pauses for 2 seconds.
Ill. If no previously connected device is found, unit will
automatically enter pairing mode
to
connect
to
a new device.
The Blue LED flashes 4 times/sec. If pairing is successful the
Blue LED flashes 3 times then pauses for 2 seconds.
Power
off: Press and hold the MFB for 5 seconds
to
turn offthe unit.
A tone prompt will sound.
Re-pairing:
To
change the connected device, press and hold the MFB
for 3 seconds, then release the button. The last connected device
will be disconnected, and the BOOMBOTTLE
H20
will enter pairing
mode. The Blue LED flashes 4 times/sec.
If
pairing is successful
the Blue LED flashes 3 times then pauses for 2 seconds.

Be sure
BOOMBOTTLE
H20
is in pairing mode. Follow step one in
pairing section on page
4.
I.
Go to: Apple Menu (upper left corner).
II.
Go to: System Preferences> Bluetooth Settings
Icon>
Add
Device("+" button at lower left
of
Settings window).
Ill. Follow the steps in the Setup Assistant
to
search for
BOOM
BOTTLE
H20.
Select
BOOMBOTTLE
H20
and press Continue.
IV.
If prompted for a password, please enter "0000"
V.
BOOMBOTTLE
H20
will appear
in
the Settings window as a
connected device.
Pairing BOOMBOTTLE
H20
with a
PC
Be sure BOOMBOTTLE
H20
is
in
pairing (discoverable) mode.
Follow step one in pairing section, page
4.

Volume Control: Adjust the volume up/down (+/-) buttons. Ifthe volume
is already at maximum, there will be a beep when you press the
volume
(+)
button.
Reset Device: Hold the MFB button for 10seconds.
Auto shut-off:

H20
will shut down after 10 minutes with no
Bluetooth or 3.5mm connection. Ifthere is a Bluetooth
connection the
BOOMBOTTLE
H20
will not shut offautomatically.

Play/Pause: Press MFB once.
I.
During playback: Blue LED flashes 2 times then pauses
for
1 sec.
II.
During pause: Blue LED flashes 3 times then pauses for 2 sees.
Track forward: Press MFB twice.
Track back:
Press MFB 3 times.
Playback
with
3.5mm
Aux
connection
Note: When
the
3.5mm audio cable is connected
to
the
BOOMBOTTLE
H20
the Bluetooth will be disconnected and shut
down
with POWER OFF prompttone.
I.
During 3.5mm connection the LED indicator light will change
to
Green, and the BOOMBOTTLE
H20
will have no promptsounds.
II.
With 3.5mm connection, all functions can only be controlled
by
the connected device (not the speaker).
Ill. When the 3,5mm audio cable is removed, the POWER ON prompt
tone will sound, Bluetooth will be turned on, and the
BOOMBOTTLE
H20
will connect
to
the latest device automatically.
Charging
the
BOOMBOTTLE
H20
I.
When
the
battery level falls below
10%
the LED will flash
RED.
When the battery level falls below
5%,
the unit will shut
off
automatically.
II.
Use the included micro-USB
to
USB cable
to
charge the unit from
a USB power source.
Ill. The LED will show solid Red during charging.
IV.
When
the
battery is fully charged, the Red LED will shut off.

SOLUTION
Charge
the
BOOMBOTTLE
H20.
Confirm
that
the
cables are securely plugged in.
The charging status light will show solid
RED while charging. When the battery is
fully charged
the
Red LED will shut off.
CheckBluetooth connection; raise the
volume on both your device and the
BOOMBOTTLE
H20.
Use the provided USB cable &charge
with a USB charger
or
computer. The
charger should be

connected
by
cable). Confirm that the
BOOM
BOTTLE
H20
is fully charged.
