OPERATION
Pairing via
Bluetooth:
Press and hold power button
to
turn on
the
BOOM
BUOY.
A tone prompt will sound, and the unit will
immediately enter pairing mode.
I.
In
your device's Bluetooth menu, search for and select
"BOOMBUOY".
II.
While
in
search mode the Blue
LED
flashed repeatedly.
If pairing is successful, there will be a solid Blue
LED.
Ill. If no previously connect device is found, unit will automatically
enter pairing mode
to
connect
to
a new device.
Pairing via NFC:
Press and hold power button
to
turn on the
BOOMBUOY.
A tone prompt will sound, and the unit will immedi-
ately enter pairing mode.
I.
Make sure
NFC
is turned on
in
the Phone's settings menu.
II.
Bring mobile device close to the
NFC
zone on the
BOOMBUOY
for 3 seconds. Forthe location
of
the
NFC
antenna zone
see illustration on page
3,
#9.
Ill. The phone will prompt you
to
pair
to
the Bluetooth device.

AUTO SHUT-OFF
BOOMBUOY will shut down after 5 minutes with no 8/uetooth
connection. Ifthere is a 8/uetooth connection, BOOM BUOY will
shut down after5 minutes
of inactivity.

PROBLEM

SOLUTION
Charge the BOOMBUOY. Confirm that the
cables
are securely plugged in. The charging
status light will glow
RED while charging and
change to BLUE when complete.
Check Bluetooth connection;
raise the volume
on both your device and the BOOMBUOY.
Use the provided USB cable & charge with
a
USB charger or computer. The charger
should be
5V; 5W/1A
Check your device to confirm that it supports
Bluetooth.
Check that the device you are attempting
to pair with is B/uetooth compatible. Follow
pairing instructions on page 4.
The BOOMBUOY has a range ofapproximate-
ly
33 feet. For the best quality music keep
your device within
range ofthe BOOMBUOY.

from defects in material and workmanship for a period

90 days from purchase. This Scosche product is sold with
the understanding that the purchaser has independently
determined the suitability
of this product. This warranty is
offered
to the original purchaser of the product only. This
warranty does not cover the product if physically damaged,
subject
to negligence or misuse, abuse, alteration, accident,
or an act of GOD. This warranty does not apply to product
which has water or physically damaged by accident
or which
has been misused, disassembled
or altered.
The original dated sales slip
or proof of purchase will establish
warrantyeligibility. Ifthe product should prove defective within
the warranty period, return the product with proof
of purchase
to Scosche Industries Inc. Scosche, at its option, will replace
or repair the product free
of charge and return the product
postage paid.
In no event shall Scosche Industries, Inc. be responsible for
claims beyond thereplacement value
