Quick Start
1.1 System Requirements
1) Projector (prepared by client)
We generally recommend 3000 lumens projector. Of course according to interior
situaon, we can choose a low dark lumen projector. If the surrounding light is too
strong we then need for higher lumen projector.
2) Computer (prepared by client)
We generally recommend dual-core processor in the mainframe computer, it deals with
faster image analysis and provides support.
Tip
We recommend high-end graphics cards in Nvidia series in order to make full use of the Directx 3D
acceleraon funcon.
If we need to save cost, we do not need a liquid crystal display. We can directly transfer output to the
projector.
The following is a recommended conguraon:

2. Quick Installaon
Interacve system is consisted of hardware and soware. It can be used both on oors and
walls. The hardware installaon is easy and exible. Please follow the instrucons to install it:
There are two structure models of Interacve Wall, the video capture can be installed at the same side
with projector as Model 1, or it can be installed at the opposite side of the projector as Model 2.
* LCD/LED/Plasma/TV screen also can be used as the display of the Interacve wall.

2.3 Connecng USB Video Capture to Computer
2.3.4 Connecon Test
Before connecon, the projector must be installed rst. The projector needs
to be hung on the ceiling, so it will be a long distance from the projector to the
computer. 10m VGA cable will likely be required. The projector supplier can make
the cable and install the projector for you.
Connect the USB video capture to your computer’s usb port and connect the 5
meter USB extension cable for the USB IR Video capture to run the system.
Please note the USB IR Video capture don’t need a driver to be installed. It will
work when you insert it to the USB port.
*If you use your laptop to test the system, please disable your webcam in advance
because the system can only detect one camera.
Start all the hardware including the projector, video capture and computer. Check
the connecons and make sure that they are all correct.
Connect projector and computer (Fig. 2.3.1-2.3.2):
1. Connect projector (le) with computer (right) by VGA cable
2. Start the projector
3. Adjust parameter of projector to resize the projected image

Copy interacve soware from CD to disk computer
Right click .exe le on our system folder and choose properes. Then click
Compability buon and choose run this progrmam as an administrator and
apply it.

3. Seng, Running, and Customizing
3.1 Seng
We will dene an interacve area. This step is very important. The interacve area
should be the same as the projecon image/projector’s resoluon.
To dene interacve area:
1. Click Sengs on the menu bar.
2. Click Cong Video Capture to dene the interacve area.

3.1 Run the Eect
3.1 Customizaon of the eects
Sequence of conrming four points of interacve area (sensiveness from 90 to
100, contrast from 3 to 10 value)
Click OK. All the moon of visitors in this red rectangle will be detected by video
capture. To test the interacve area:
Click the green Run buon to start it. You can set all the eects run automacally
in advance from the ‘play’ menu.
Elements of eect can be replaced to meet client’s own requirement, supply the
funcons for you to edit the elements such as image, video, etc. It’s easy due to
the exibility to do.
Lotus eect sengs:
To customize eect
1. Select the Lotus eect.
2. Click Play on the menu bar.
3. Click Eect seng to replace the elements of eect.
1. Put your hand into the interacve area to see if there is shadow of hand appear
in the Mirror window.
2. Check the connecon of speaker, test sound.
* Press ESC hot key to exit from the running eect and go back to the main
window of Schedule-Manger.
* Press Alt + direcon key ←, switch to the previous eect directly.
* Press Alt + direcon key →, switch to the next eect directly.

Follow these steps:
1. Background image seng: Click Change,
open the new image with the format
(*.jpg) and a minimum size of 1024x 768
pixels or bigger. The current image will be
successfully replaced. If you select ‘Backup
original image’ then it will save to a new
folder under Lotus eect’s folder
2. Sound seng: Click Change, open the
new sound with the format (*.mp3), The
current
sound will be successfully replaced . If you
select ‘Backup original sound then it will
save
to a new folder under Lotus eect’s folder
