Scroll Trellis™ Basket Booster™
Description:
The Basket Booster™ is a topiary structure for both hanging baskets (baskets with wire hangers) and also in plant
containers. Its unique function provides a 3D support for taller plants, including the climbing varieties. Using vining plants
adds additional opportunities to use unique plants as the container’s “thriller”, as the plants climb the trellis support.
The Basket Booster™ comes as a compact kit that is easily assembled. The trellis is first assembled into a flat star
shape which has a hole at the hub. When used with a hanging basket, the hub of the star is slide over the wire hook and
secured to the hanger with a plastic cable tie. Each leg of the star is inserted into the soil and the gardener is done! For
use in containers, just assemble the star and insert the legs into the soil to form a dome. Mounting other garden décor
in the hub of the assembled Basket Booster™ is optional (ie finials, luminaires, wine bottle stoppers, etc).
This product is mainly used as an attractive topiary trellis for flowering and foliage vines for indoor and outdoor plants,
but it can also be used for supporting solar powered LED string lights to providing "night vision" to your beautiful
masterpieces after dark. Custom solar lights are available separately from Scroll Trellis

Hold one of the pre-assembled parts and rotate the 1st Leg
that is adjacent to the Leg with Pins

Align the small holes with the Pins and pinch together
Continue to rotate the Legs and pinch together to form the
Star.

Repeat Steps 1-3 to assemble the second Star
Note: Keep the Short Tube in both the Stars

Remove the Short Tube from one of the
Stars and discard
Assemble both of the Stars onto the
remaining Short Tube to create the 8 legged
Star (The Star’s Pins pointed ends point
towards each other)
Secure the Stars together by inserting two
Cable Ties through the Small Holes that are
opposite each other on the Legs. Wrap the
Cable Tie loop to the outer edge and not
through the large center hole. Connect and
trim the ends of the Cable Ties as needed.
(Note: The correct way to connect the Cable
Tie-See Below)

Remove and discard the Short Tube from the
Stars, plant your pot if you haven’t already.

Slide the Star’s center hole over the hook on
a pre-planted basket (using a wire hanger)

Insert the trellis Legs ends deep into the soil
around the inside of the pot

Train your planted vine to wrap around the
trellis Legs. Water and Enjoy!
(Optional solar light strings are available and

Lace Cable Tie through the wire hanger
strands above the trellis and connect under
the trellis assembly. Trim the ends of the
Cable Tie as needed. This will finish the
Project!

1. Remove the white twist-tie from the light
strings and use the twist-tie to temporarily
secure the lights’ Hub to the trellis’ Hub.
2. Twist the black lead around and down one
of the trellis’ legs.
3. Mount the Solar Panel onto the black
ground stake and push into the soil, as
shown
4. Twist each light string around each of the
trellis legs
5. Remove the twist-tie
6. Remove the protective plastic from the front
of the Solar Panel.
7. Turn the Solar Panel on and select the
Mode desired.
8. After the Solar Panel has been charged by
the Sun you may test the mode setting by
covering the Solar Panel with the palm of
your hand or adjust once it’s dark outside, if
needed.
