The ultimate safety of your child depends on the proper and secure
installation of the Booster Car Seat in your vehicle. Proper installation
requires that you read and understand this entire manual and your
vehicle’s owner’s manual before placing your child in the Booster Car
Seat.
DONOT allow others to install or use this Booster Car Seat unless they
completely understand its proper use and installation.
- When using a Vehicle Lap/Shoulder Belt to secure your child.
Vehicle belt must be properly routed and positioned on your child
and snugly adjusted onto child.
- This Booster Car Seat IS FOR USE in passenger cars,
multi-purpose vehicles (vans and SUVs), trucks, and school buses
that have Vehicle Lap/Shoulder Belts.
- This Booster Car Seat IS NOT FOR USE on aircraft as a
Lap/Shoulder Belt is NOT available on aircrafts.

Yourchild’ssafetydependson:
1. Choosing the correct use mode for your child. Use Highback Mode
as long as possible.
2. Choosing the best location within your vehicle for using the Booster
Car Seat. Seating positions with frontal Air Bags must be avoided
if possible.
3. Proper installation.
a. Booster Use Mode
- RequiresproperroutingandadjustingtofVehicle
Lap/Shoulder Belt.
b Always properly position the vehicle belts on your child and
snugly adjust the vehicle belts around child.
NOTE: Not all vehicle seat belts or vehicle seats can be used with
this Booster Car Seat.
NEVER use with a Vehicle Lap Belt ONLY.
4. Proper belt adjustment.
- Properly position Vehicle Lap/Shoulder Belt on child.
- Snugly adjust belts around child.

This Booster Car Seat has two (2) different use modes - Highback
Booster Car Seat and Backless Booster Car Seat. In both modes, the
Booster Car Seat MUST be used with a Vehicle Lap/Shoulder Belt.
In this instruction manual, and on the Booster Car Seat labels, the
symbol below is used to indicate Booster Use Mode with a Vehicle
Lap/Shoulder Belt. NEVER use this Booster Car Seat with a Lap Belt
ONLY to secure child.

sure you are using the child restraint in the correct mode and with the

The Highback Booster Car Seat should be used until the child’s
shouldersdonottcomfortablyunderthesidewingsoftheHead
Support.
Parents are advised that the Back Support and Head Support of the
Highback Booster Car Seat provide incremental crash protection
in frontal and side impact crashes. Removing the Back Support
and Head Support earlier than necessary also removes the
incremental crash protection.

Not every seating location within a vehicle may be safe for use
of this Booster Car Seat. In fact, some vehicles have no seating
location that is safe for the installation of a Booster Car Seat.
Improper placement of this Booster Car Seat within a vehicle will
increase the risk of death or serious injury in a sudden stop or
crash.
See “Vehicle Seat Belts” section for more information on vehicle
seat belts.
Please follow the instructions in this manual and in your vehicle
owner’s manual carefully to ensure proper location and installation
of this Car Seat. If you are uncertain about the proper location of
