1. SAFETY
1.1. GENERAL
IMPORTANT: Ensure that the lamp is fully charged before initial use.
8DO NOT turn the lamp on when it is being charged.
8DO NOT shine directly into your, another person’s or an animal’s eyes.
8DO NOT allow children to use the lamp.
8DO NOT leave battery in a discharged state. Recharge battery immediately.
9Recharge the battery at least once every six months of non-use.
1.2. ELECTRICAL SAFETY FOR USE OF CHARGER
WARNING! Use only the supplied charger for connecting the lamp to the power supply.
WARNING! It is the user’s responsibility to read, understand and comply with the following instructions:
IMPORTANT: Ensure the risk of electric shock is minimised by the installation of appropriate safety devices e.g. RCD. If the lamp is
used in the course of business duties, it must be maintained in a safe condition and routinely PAT (Portable Appliance Test) tested.
9Ensure that you inspect the charger plug, cable and connections for wear and damage to ensure items are safe before connecting
to the mains power supply. If worn or damaged DO NOT use.
WARNING! DO NOT use any other type of charger with this product, other than the supplied mains or USB cable. Failure to

8DO NOT dismantle, there are no user serviceable components.
8DO NOT allow the charger to become wet. Do not use in wet or damp conditions. For indoor use only.
8DO NOT pull the charger plug from the mains socket by the lead.
1.3. BATTERY SAFETY
8DO NOT expose to temperatures above 60°C (140°F).

2. INTRODUCTION
RechargeableoodlightwithsuperbrightCOBLEDwhichgivesanevenandconstantspreadoflight.ProducesalightwithaCRI(Colour
Rendering Index) of 95, which gives a daylight effect. Ideal for detecting swirls and differences in paint colour when touching up areas of
bodywork. Two settings allow for low or full brightness to suit task. Features a 180° adjustable stand.

4. CHARGING
4.1. IMPORTANT: The battery fitted to this lamp is considered to
be a consumable item and its ability to accept charge will
reduce over time. The warranty against mechanical and
electrical defect is for a period of one year, this does not cover
fair wear and tear. If the battery is not properly charged before
first use, or regularly conditioned, its capacity will diminish.
Under these circumstances the battery will not be replaced,
even if it is less than one year old.

4.2. Connect the charger into the charge socket on the lamp (fig.1). Plug into power supply and turn on, the green charge LEDs on the
lamp will light as the battery becomes charged. When fully charged all three will be lit.
4.3. When the battery has fully charged (approx 3hrs), disconnect from mains supply.
4.4. During usage, when the battery is low the green lights will go out one at a time. When this happens switch off the lamp and re-charge.
NOTE: The Lithium battery does not suffer from memory effect and once fully charged may be stored for up to six months without
another charge.
5. OPERATION
5.1. Position the floodlight in the area that requires illumination.
5.2. This LED floodlight develops minimal heat and is not subject to the same restrictions that apply to halogen lamps that become too
hot to touch. It is however, recommended that the floodlight should not be placed in cramped or restrictive situations and recommend
the following minimum distances between the light and any surface/object.
  ●500mmminimumbetweenthetopofthelightandanyoverheadsurface,orobjects.
  ●200mmbetweensidesoflightandendorsidewalls,surfacesorobjects.
 ●1metreminimumbetweenthefrontofthelightandanyobjecttobeilluminated.
5.3. Press the switch on the back of the light to turn on 50% illumination, press again for 100% illumination, press again to switch off (fig.1).
5.4. Ensure the light is disconnected from the mains power supply when not in use.
5.5. Ensure that the unit is cool and dry and is stored in a cool, dry, childproof area.
6. MAINTENANCE
6.1. Clean the casing externally (not the glass) with a moist cloth.
8DO NOT use solvents or abrasives.
6.2. If necessary clean the glass with alcohol and a soft cloth.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.
WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid
waste authority for recycling information.
BATTERY REMOVAL
Under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, Jack Sealey Ltd are required to inform potential purchasers of products
containing batteries (as defined within these regulations), that they are registered with Valpak’s registered compliance scheme. Jack
Sealey Ltd’s Batteries Producer Registration Number (BPRN) is BPRN00705.
