5.1. IMPORTANT WARRANTY INFORMATION: The battery fitted to this cordless tool is considered to be a consumable item and its ability
to accept charge will reduce over time. Our warranty will cover genuine battery malfunction, but not fair wear and tear, for a period of
12 months.
5.2. To charge the screwdriver, insert the USB connector into the charging
socket on the screwdriver (fig.1) and plug the other end into a
suitable power supply.
5.3. The green indicator light will illuminate to indicate the battery is being charged. When charging is complete, unplug the charger from
the mains and the screwdriver.
5.4. When running, if all green indicator lights are lit, the battery is fully charged. As charge decreases, the LEDs will switch off accordingly.
5.5. Place a bit into the bit holder of the screwdriver. Select the required direction by using the forward/reverse switch (fig.1) and press the
On switch to start the screwdriver. The LED worklight will light when the On switch is held down and will go off after the On switch is
released.
5.6. To reverse the rotational direction of the screwdriver, slide the controller with towards the F or R to run in opposite direction.
5.7. To lock the spindle in place, slide the rotational direction switch (fig. 1) into the middle position.
5.8. To set the torque applied, use the torque selection button (fig.1) while the screwdriver is not running. The required torque can be
preselected in 3 graded steps. The LEDs (fig.1) will illuminate in turn (smaller to larger) for each press of the On button. The larger the
illuminated LED, the greater the torque output.
5.9. When in use the power tool cannot be subject to overload. When the load is too high or the allowable battery temperature is exceeded, the
electronic control switches off the power tool until the temperature is in the optimum temperature range again.
6. MAINTENANCE
6.1. Keep the screwdriver clean by wiping with a damp cloth.
6.2. Store screwdriver and USB cable in a dry, childproof area.

WARNING! – Risk of Hand Arm Vibration Injury.
This tool may cause Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome if its use is not managed adequately.
This tool is subject to the vibration testing section of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
This tool is to be operated in accordance with these instructions.
Measured vibration emission value (a): ..........0.48 m/s²
Uncertainty value (k):...........................1.5 m/s²
Please note that the application of the tool to a sole specialist task may produce a different average vibration emission. We recommend that
a specific evaluation of the vibration emission is conducted prior to commencing with a specialist task.
A health and safety assessment by the user (or employer) will need to be carried out to determine the suitable duration of use for each tool.
NB: Stated Vibration Emission values are type-test values and are intended to be typical.
Whilst in use, the actual value will vary considerably from and depend on many factors.
Such factors include; the operator, the task and the inserted tool or consumable.
NB: ensure that the length of leader hoses is sufficient to allow unrestricted use, as this also helps to reduce vibration.
The state of maintenance of the tool itself is also an important factor, a poorly maintained tool will also increase the risk of Hand Arm Vibration
Syndrome.
Health surveillance.
We recommend a programme of health surveillance to detect early symptoms of vibration injury so that management procedures
can be modified accordingly.
Personal protective equipment.
We are not aware of any personal protective equipment (PPE) that provides protection against vibration injury that may result from the
uncontrolled use of this tool. We recommend a sufficient supply of clothing (including gloves) to enable the operator to remain warm and dry
and maintain good blood circulation in fingers etc. Please note that the most effective protection is prevention, please refer to the Correct Use
and Maintenance section in these instructions. Guidance relating to the management of hand arm vibration can be found on the HSE website
www.hse.gov.uk - Hand-Arm Vibration at Work.
*4V refers to the peak battery charge. To maintain a consistent performance, lithium-ion battery cells have a nominal working voltage of 3.7V.
