IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this kettle, always follow the safety precautions listed below:
Read all instructions before using this kettle.•
For personal use only and not for use in a commercial setting.•
Do not use in any way other than its intended use.•
Do not operate outdoors or in any type of wet or extreme conditions.•
For added safety, this kettle should always remain unplugged when not in use.•
Do not use the kettle if the plug, the power cord, or the kettle is damaged. Do not attempt•
to operate or repair if damaged or if the product malfunctions in any way. Contact our

additional information.
Use of an extension cord is not recommended. However, if required, the electrical rating of•
the cord must be equal to or greater than the electrical rating of this kettle.
Always use and store on a flat, level, stable surface, away from any ledge and out of direct•
sunlight.
Do not place the kettle or the power cord on or near a stove top, open flame or other•
heated surface.
Do not operate using an external timer, remote control or smart system.•
To allow optimal airflow and avoid overheating, always allow at least a 4-inch clearance on•
all sides when in use and while cooling down.
Carefully position the power cord so no one can become entangled in the cord and so that•
the cord is not a tripping hazard.
Place the kettle on its base before plugging the power cord into an outlet. Do not plug the•
power cord into an outlet until the kettle is filled, closed and ready to use.
This kettle is used for boiling water. Do not fill with anything other than drinking water in•
normal use, except for descaling.
Do not brew tea or other beverages in the kettle as that can change the boiling•
characteristics of water and may cause overflowing.
Do not operate when empty or withoutthe minimum required water level (0.5-liters /2-cups)•
or damage can occur.

CAUTION:

Do not fill above the maximum level indicated (1.7-liters / 7-cups). Overfilling can cause•
the boiling water to overflow.
Do not leave unattended while operating.•
Do not leave the lid open or press the lid release button while operating to avoid the risk of•
burns or scalding. The lid must remain closed while operating to allow the internal sensor
to function correctly. Failure to do so may result in overheating, water boiling over and
damage to the kettle.
Never allow children to operate, have access to, or leave them unsupervised near this•
kettle.
To reduce the risk of burns or scalding, use caution when handling during and immediately•
following use.
This kettle may release heat, steam, condensation and hot water during and after•
operation. Use extreme caution when handling to prevent the risk of burns, scalding or
other injuries and damage to property.
The use of third-party accessories or attachments or any parts not designed specifically for•
this model, may result in fire, electric shock, or injury and damage to property or kettle.
Ensure that the switch is in the OFF position after every use.•
Always unplug and allow to cool before moving, disassembling, cleaning or storing.•
Never immerse the kettle, base or power cord in liquid or expose to other wet•
environments.
Never place the kettle or base in the dishwasher.•
Always follow the cleaning methods recommended in this manual. Never use harsh•
chemicals or abrasive materials to clean any part.
All parts should be completely dry before assembling, using or storing.•
Do not dispose of with regular municipal waste. Use a designated collection facility.•
Contact your local waste management or regulatory agency for information regarding

NOTE: There is only 1 rubber foot pad built into the base. This is a safety feature as 1 pad
helps to prevent the base from sliding, while allowing it to “pivot” if the kettle is knocked.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Carefully remove your product and all documentation from the box. Storing your product in•
its original box helps to protect it while not in use.
Always use and store on a flat, level, stable surface, away from any ledge and out of direct•
sunlight.
The power cord is stored on the underside of the base. For safety reasons, only unwind•
enough of the power cord to reach the outlet and keep the power cord stored underneath
when not in use.
Position the base so no one can become entangled in or trip over the power cord.•
Remove the kettle from the base before filling or pouring.•
Use purified or deionized water, when possible, to minimize mineral build-up in the kettle.•
This kettle is used for boiling water. Do not fill with anything other than drinking water in•
normal use, except for descaling process.
Do not brew tea or other beverages in the kettle as that can change the boiling•
characteristics and may cause overflowing.
If water drips onto the base, wipe dry before placing the kettle on the base.•
Never touch the interior of the kettle or lid during or immediately following use. The exterior•
body and the handle will remain cool, however touching the stainless steel interior can
result in burns or scalding.
Do not attempt to use the kettle without the lid locked securely in the closed position.•
Do not press the LID RELEASE button while operating.•
The kettle turns off automatically when removed from the base.•
Be careful of steam coming from the spout, especially while pouring or if adding water•
immediately after boiling.
Allow kettle to cool completely before opening lid to avoid hot condensation.•
Pour slowly and do not over-tilt to avoid the risk of splashing•
The Boil Dry Protection Sensor turns the kettle off automatically when it detects that the•
kettle is empty. If the Boil Dry Protection feature is activated, please allow the kettle to cool
down at least 15 minutes before refilling.
KETTLE PREPARATION
Preparing your kettle for first time use:
1. Remove the kettle from the base.
2. Press the LID RELEASE and fill the kettle with cold water until it reaches the interior MAX
line.

3. Close the lid, place the kettle onto the base and plug the power cord into an outlet.
4. Press the ON/OFF switch into the ON position. The switch will illuminate and remain
on until the water comes to a boil (212°F). Once the water boils, the kettle shuts off
automatically in approximately 20 seconds, the indicator light turns off and the ON/OFF
switch returns to the OFF position.
5. Carefully remove the kettle from base and discard the water. Allow kettle to cool
completely before opening lid to avoid hot condensation.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 again to remove any production residue from the interior of the kettle.
7. Unplug the power cord and allow the kettle to cool completely.
NOTE: Do not consume the water used during the preparation process. It should be
discarded immediately. While not harmful, this is the initial cleaning process and the water
may taste unpleasant.
USING YOUR KETTLE
1. Remove the kettle from the base.
2. Press the LID RELEASE and fill the kettle with cold water until it reaches the correct
amount between 0.5-liters (2 cups) minimum and 1.7-liters (7 cups) maximum.
3. Close the lid, place the kettle onto the base and plug the power cord into an outlet.
4. Press the ON/OFF switch into the ON position. The switch will illuminate and remain
on until the water comes to a boil (212°F). Once the water boils, the kettle shuts off
automatically in approximately 20 seconds, the indicator light turns off and the ON/OFF
switch returns to the OFF position.
5. Carefully remove the kettle from the base and pour water as needed. Allow kettle to cool
completely before opening lid to avoid hot condensation.
6. Return the kettle to the base.
7. To reheat the water, refill if required and repeat steps 3 – 6.
8. Unplug the power cord when done and allow the kettle to cool completely.
BOIL DRY PROTECTION FEATURE
If the kettle is empty or contains less than 0.5-liters (2 cups) of water, the BOIL DRY
PROTECTION SENSOR will activate, and the kettle will shut-off automatically. This protects
the kettle from damage due to overheating.
If this happens, please do the following:
1. Lift the ON/OFF switch into the OFF position, if needed.
2. Unplug the base.
3. Wait at least 10 minutes for the temperature sensor to reset before attempting to use the
kettle.
