3. Operation Guide
3.1 Package

3.2 Start to Use
Important notice:
-Insert SIM card then connect the power to the device.
-SIM card must support GPRS service.

-SIM card must be in service.
-If SIM card require PIN code, please use other GSM mobile handset to
remove the pin code.
-For oversea user, please check if the APN settings require or not.
-If you are an oversea user, please set the language(EN) by sending
SMS to the device with: LANG,0#

ACC detection, when key-in and turn to ACC position,
ACC goes level high.
4 YELLOW Relay control driving signal
Please use 12V RELAY in 12V system, use 24V RELAY in 24V system like
bus and truck.

Note
The LEDs will light up about 5 minutes, then turn off to save power, if
you want to check the status, just call the phone number of the device.

3.5 Message Instruction
1) APN Settings
Instruction Format example
APN Setting 1 APN,
APN-Name,user,psw#
APN,ac.vodafone.es,vodafone,vodaf

Note:
APN settings are difference in difference country, if password
require please follow setting 1, otherwise setting 2.
Examples: Send “APN,cmnet#”
Return “Set APN OK! ”
Notice: do not include the colon in the message.
2) TIMER Settings
Instruction Format example
TIMER Setting TIMER,n# TIMER,20#
Note:
When n=0, stop data upload, device working in ultra low
power mode, only phone call or query SMS will active the GPS
work for a moment.
When 10≤n≤300, device upload data every n seconds.
When n≥300, GPS work for a moment after n seconds, then

shut down GPS when finish the data upload.
Examples:
Send “TIMER,20#”
Return “TIMER set ok. Now data upload period is 20
seconds. ”
3) CENTER Number Setting
Instruction Format example
Add Center Number CENTER,A,13811111

Delete Center Number CENTER,D # CENTER,D#
Note:
1) Only center number can send RELAY control message.
2) Only one center number can be set.
3) Center number will receive the wire-cut alarm message.
Examples: Send “CENTER,A,13811111111”
Return “SET CENTER TEL OK. TEL Number is 13811111111.”
4) RELAY Control
Instruction Format example
RELAY control enable RELAY,1# RELAY,1#
RELAY control disable RELAY,0# RELAY,0#
Note:
1) Send this message to make remote control like fuel

supplement.
2) Only work when the center number being set.
1) For safety reason, when device get this message, it will
stop the fuel supplement when speed < 20Km.
Examples: Send: “RELAY,1#”
Return “RELAY ON!”
5) WL (User Define Fence) Setting
Instruction Format example
User Define Fence WLn WL300
Note: When fence being set, device out of the defined area, sender
will get an alarm message.
Examples: Send “WL400”
Return “...”
6) Restore Factory Setting

Restore Factory default FACTORY # FACTORY #
Note:
Restore factory setting, part of settings will restore factory
default.
Examples: Send “FACTORY#”

7) Device RESET
Instruction Format example

Note: Device will reboot.
Example: Send “RESET#”
Return none, system reboot when receive this SMS.
8) Language Setting
Instruction Format example
Chinese LANG,1# LANG,1#
English LANG,0# LANG,0#
Note:
If Chinese selected, device will return landmark description in
Chinese, if English set, it will return URL.
Example: Send “LANG,1#”
Return “SET LANGUE OK, New LANGUAGE is CHINESE”

Note: Device use UTC+8 as default time zone.
E: Ease;W: West
0~12, UTC difference.
0/15/30/45, Half time zone.
Examples: Send “GMT,E,8,0#”
Return “Now Time Zone is UTC+8.”
10) SOS Settings

You can set 3 SOS numbers, only the SOS number can make call
connected, and then start the voice monitoring.

11) HB Call Back

4 Use the web service
Visit web with the account and password that the distributor provided.

5 Trouble shooting
When finish installation, please check the device work normal or not? If work
abnormal, please check with the following steps:
1) Call the phone number on the device, check if the SIM register to the GSM
network?
2) Is the APN being set for oversea user? Set the correct APN according the
manual.
3) Is the SIM with GPRS service? You can use a cell phone to browser a web site to
check.
4) Please make sure you test the GPS in open sky.
5) Call for technical support, if the problem can not fix.
