1.
‐The product is a stationary floodlight. If it is not fixed for use, a fire, electric shock, burn or fall might result.
‐2. After adjustment of the illuminating angle, tighten the handles firmly (recommended tightening torque: 22‐25 N・m).
LLPM00312‐2
The LCTX00022V2 to LCTX0004V2 have
different seat shapes from the above but
their installation dimensions are the same as
those of the LCTX0005V2 to LCTX0007V2.
Pass a 3‐wire cable with a final outside diameter of 10 to 14 mm (equivalent to or more than 600V 2PNCT (type 2 EP rubber‐insulated
chloroprene cabtyre cable) through the fastening nut, connect it to the terminal block as shown in Fig. 4 and tighten the terminal block screw
firmly at a recommended torque (1.3‐1.5 N・m). Fix the 3‐wire cable with the cable retainer securely and tighten the cable retainer screw at a
recommended torque (1.3‐1.5N・m) securely.
To adjust the illuminating angle, loosen the two handles with the floodlight supported by the angle adjusting grip securely (Fig. 2) and gently
adjust the illuminating angle. If the floodlight is not supported securely, it might suddenly turn, resulting in a damage or injury.

Tighten the two screws on the wire connection box cover evenly at a recommended torque (1.3‐1.5N ・m) securely to prevent rainwater
infiltration. Also tighten the fastening nut securely to prevent rainwater infiltration.
Inadequate tightening might cause the floodlight to fall, resulting in an accident.
Insert the two M16 mounting bolts into the hole of the seat placed on the mounting surface of the building with the specified interval between
them (55 mm) as shown in Fig. 3 and firmly tighten each mounting bolt together with a plain washer, spring washer and M16 hexagonal nut at
a recommended torque (94‐108 N・m). Inadequate tightening might cause the floodlight to fall and result in an injury.

5000[K]
When the floodlight is installed on the ground and its
upward angle range is from 30 to 60 degrees, it cannot be
fixed due to the presence of the mounting bolts (M16). If the
mounting bolts interfere with rotation of the floodlight for
angle adjustment, adjust the illuminating angle before fixing
the floodlight.
If a floodlight pedestal is used, note that this floodlight is heavier than conventional (HID) floodlights and a conventional pedestal may
not be rigid enough and cause an accident such as a fall. If you are going to use a pedestal, consult us.
Narrow angle
Don’t use the floodlight in a place where it may be water‐covered. The use in such a place might cause an electric leak, electric shock or
malfunction.
The color and brightness of LEDs fluctuate more largely than ordinary light sources such as candescent lamps and fluorescent lamps.
The color of light may vary with individual LEDs. Note that when the illumination distance is short, there may be uneven brightness or
color unevenness depending on the illuminated surface.
Gray metallic
Before installing the floodlight, confirm the range of motion of the floodlight as shown in Fig. 1(a) or 1(b). Paying attention to the
positional relation between the structure and the arm, take care that the floodlight does not contact the structure. An accidental
contact might cause a fire.
Be careful not to scratch the front cover of the floodlight. Scratching might cause damage, deterioration in watertightness or decline in
illuminance. If a crack is found in the front cover, let us know since it must be replaced immediately.
Application
Watertightness
Ambient temperature Frequency‐5~35℃
If the floodlight is used at a higher ambient temperature than 35°C or the LED is lit in a place exposed to direct sunlight, the internal
thermal fuse may be activated to turn off the LED. Though this is not a failure but a function to protect the electronic components, don’
t use the floodlight in such an environment. A temperature rise might cause a fire or electrical failure or shorten the LED life.

The angle adjusting grip (Fig. 2) is intended to be used for illuminating angle adjustment after installation and should not be used to
carry the fitting. If it is used to carry the fitting, the fitting might fall and cause an injury.

To ensure brightness and safety, carry out periodical cleaning and inspection.
If used in an extended period without maintenance or inspection, a smoke, fire or electric shock might result.
A lighting fitting has a service life. A product which has been used for eight to ten years may have degraded internal parts
even if it looks normal. For safety and energy saving, we recommend you check and replace it.
*Operating conditions: ambient temperature of 30 °C, 10 hours per day, 3,000 hours per year. If used at a higher
temperature or more hours per year, the life would be shortened. Have a specialist inspect the product every three years. If
used for an extended period without inspection, a smoke, fire or electric shock might result.
