1 GENERAL POINTS
1.1 Important safety information
1.1.1 General attentions

ATTENTION
–This manual contains important
safety instructions and atten-
tions. All users should read this
manual carefully so that they
can use the saddle sensibly and
safely.
–This manual is an integral part
of the saddle. It must therefore
be kept carefully for future refer-
ence and must always accom-
pany it even if it is transferred to
another Owner or User.
–For anything not stated here or
in case of doubt, please refer to
the bicycle manual or contact
the bicycle manufacturer/Selle
Royal.
1.1.2 Prohibitions

PROHIBITED
–DO NOT allow children below 8
years of age to use the saddle.
The saddle may be used by chil-
dren of at least 8 years of age
and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental ca-
pacities, or who do not have the
required experience or knowl-
edge, provided they are super-
vised or have been instructed in
safe saddle use and understand
the inherent risks.
–DO NOT allow children to play
with the saddle.
–DO NOT allow unsupervised
children to carry out cleaning
or maintenance intended to be
carried out by the user.
–DO NOT continue bodily contact
with the switched on saddle for
longer than 8 hours.

OPERATION
1.2 Compliance
The CE marking on the saddle certies its compli-
ance with the following EU Directives, whose essen-
tial requirements it meets:
– Directive 2014/35/UE: “Low Voltage Directive”.
– Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
- IEC 6100063:2020
- IEC 6100061:2016
- EN IEC 6100063:2021
- EN IEC 6100061:2019

2 OPERATION
2.1 General Information

ATTENTION
The saddle temperature is xed,
factory preset and not adjustable.
2.2 Switching on
l
ATTENTION
The saddle must be switched on
while the bicycle is stationary and
the user is off the bicycle.

– Briey press the button (4), which will light up.
– The saddle will (beep) briey once to conrm it has
been switched on correctly.

ATTENTION
If the button (4) is pressed briey
again while the saddle is on, it will
beep briey to signal it is already
on.

2.3 Switching off

ATTENTION
The saddle must be switched off
while the bicycle is stationary and
the user is off the bicycle.

– Press and hold the button (4), which will switch off.
– The saddle will (beep) three times to conrm it has
been switched off correctly.

ATTENTION
If the bicycle’s general power sup-
ply is switched off, the saddle, if
on, will switch off.
The next time the bicycle’s gen-
eral power supply is switched on,
the saddle will stay off.
2.4 Adjustment
2.4.1 Fore-aft

– Loosen the screws (A).
– Adjust the saddle position.
– Tighten the screws (A) to the torque recommended
by the seat post manufacturer.

ATTENTION
When adjusting and maintaining
the saddle, never pull it out of the
seat post as this could damage
the saddle’s power cable.
2.4.2 Height

– Loosen the clamp (B).
– Adjust the saddle height.
– Tighten the clamp (B) to the torque recommended
by the clamp manufacturer.

ATTENTION
When adjusting and maintaining
the saddle, never pull it all the way
out of the seat post as this could
damage the saddle’s power ca-
ble inside the seat post.

3 MAINTENANCE
3.1 General points

ATTENTION
–Before carrying out any mainte-
nance work, deactivate the sad-
dle heating system by pressing
the button.
–If the saddle heating system
malfunctions or fails, do not at-
tempt to repair it and contact
your dealer directly.
3.2 Cleaning the saddle

PROHIBITED
Do not direct water jets towards
the saddle while washing it.
The saddle must only be cleaned with a soft cloth
and water.
Do not use abrasive detergents or cloths that could
in any way damage the product.
4 DISPOSAL
4.1 End-of-life disposal
Before disposing of the saddle, consult the regula-
tions in force in the country of use and information
on authorised recycling centres provided by the rel-
evant authorities in your place of installation.
