OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS: BBSS, BBPC, BBDD
1. Make sure that the knob is in the “OFF” position.
2. Plug into a 220-240V AC power supply.
3. DO NOT place hands in container unless container is removed from the motor
base. Remember that the cutting blades are very sharp and great caution should
be exercised, especially when placing the ingredients into the container.
4. When mixing ice drinks add liquids first then ice. Ice may freeze onto the blades
and prevent the blades turning properly. This is less likely to happen if the liquids
are placed in the container first. Use ice that is suitable for the job, large chunks of
ice should be avoided, tube or cube ice is preferred. For very thick ice drinks, place
liquids in the container. Turn the blender on and feed ice gradually through the lid
until you obtain the desired texture.
5. Place container with the lid on onto the motor base. Using the locating pins as a
guide lock the container into place by turning it gently. Ensure that the container is
properly seated.
6. If cutting blades do not revolve when the blender is switched on. Remove the
container and adjust the contents by shaking the container or using a spatula. Try
blending again.
7. Never leave drinks in the blender after use and always clean the container and
blades after use.
8. NEVER run the blender when empty and DO NOT attempt to remove or replace
the container while the motor is running.
9. NEVER run the blender without the container in place and liquid inside. The
blender should not be run for longer than 3 minutes at a time.
10. Unplug the blender after use.
