EN Fully Automatic Rice
Cooker
User'smanual
■
Prior to using this appliance, please read the user’smanual
thoroughly, even in cases, when one has already familiarised
themselves with previous use of similar types of appliances. Only
use the appliance in the manner described in this user’smanual.
Keep this user’smanual in asafe place where it can be easily
retrieved for future use.
■
We recommend saving the original cardboard box, packaging
material, purchase receipt and responsibility statement of the
vendor or warranty card for at least the duration of the legal
liability for unsatisfactory performance or quality. In the event
of transportation, we recommend that you pack the appliance in
the original box from the manufacturer.

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Take the rice cooker and its accessories out of the packaging
materials.
2. Wash the removable bowl A15, measuring cup A11,spoon A13
and ladle A12 in warm water with kitchen detergent.Then rinse all
these parts under clean running water and dry them thoroughly.
USING THE RICE COOKER
1. Place the removable bowl A15 on the kitchen countertop or
another even, stable surface. Measure the required amount of
rice using the supplied measuring cup A11.
Attention:
In asingle batch, it is possible to cook amaximum of 8 level
measuring cups of rice.
Transfer the rice to astrainer and rinse through using running
water. Transfer the rinsed rice into the removable bowl A15 and
evenly spread it out from the centre towards the sides of the
bowl. Add the appropriate amount of cold water. You will find
the recommended rice: water dosage ratio in the table below.

Note:
Two measuring scales are marked on the measuring
cup A11. One measuring scale is used for measuring rice
(¼, ½, ¾ cup or one level measuring cup) and the second
scale is used for measuring water (40 to 160 ml).
Asingle level measuring cup is equivalent to 140 g of loose
uncooked rice.
Attention:
The rice to water ratio can be modified as necessary. However,
make sure that the water level does not exceed the 1.8 L
water level mark on the inside wall of the removable bowl
A15. Otherwise boiling water could spray out during the
cooking process.
2. Place the bowl A15 into the outer pot A5 and close the lid A4.
Make sure that bowl A14 is correctly seated in the outer pot A5.
3. Insert the power plug into an electrical power socket. Slide the
power switch A7 to position I(turned on).
4. After inserting the power cord into the power socket, the
KEEP WARM (maintaining temperature) mode will automatically
be activated. This is indicated by the KEEP WARM A9 indicator
being lit. To start the COOK (cook rice) mode, slide the switch
A10 downwards. The COOK indicator A8 will turn on. Do not slide
switch A10 back to the upper position while the rice is cooking.
5. The rice will be cooked in approximately 30 minutes. Afterwards,
the rice cooker will automatically switch to the KEEP WARM
(maintaining temperature) mode. The KEEP WARM (maintaining
temperature) mode can keep the rice warm for up to 6 hours.
After this, the rice cooker will turn off.
Tip:
The rice will taste better if you allow it to finish cooking in
the KEEP WARM (maintaining temperature) mode for 10 to
20 minutes.
Note:
To maintain flavour, we recommend that you do not keep the
rice warm for longer than 3 hours. Otherwise it may dry out.
6. If you wish to serve the rice, carefully open the lid by pressing the
open lid button A3. Gently stir the rice using the spoon A13 and
serve.
Attention:
To avoid damaging the non-stick surface of the removable
bowl A15, do not use metal kitchen utensils to stir the rice.
7. Another batch of rice can be cooked after several minutes as soon
as it is possible to start the COOK (cook rice) mode.
Note:
Do not attempt to hold down the switch A10 in the lower
position.
8. When you have finished using the appliance, slide the power
switch A7 to position 0 (turned off). If you will not be using the
rice cooker, disconnect it from the power socket.
STEAM COOKING
■
The rice cooker also has asteam cooking function. Put asufficient
amount of water (0.5 l or more) into the bowl. Place vegetables
or other foods into the steamer. Then proceed in the same way
as when cooking rice.

When all the water has been evaporated, the rice cooker will switch
to the Keep Warm mode.Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the
status of the food and water.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
■
Check that the power cord is disconnected from the power socket
and allow the rice cooker to cool down. Take the removable bowl
A15 out of the outer pot A5 and remove any remaining rice.
