Safety Instructions
This product has been designed with the utmost safety in mind. Use this appliance
only according to the instructions inthis user'smanual. Do not disassemble this device,
otherwise you are exposed to the risk of electric shock. If any damage to this product
occurs, please have this product repaired by aqualified service technician.
Power
Power supply of this unit must be match the serial plate data. Avoid damaging the AC
power cord by pulling, twisting, breaking or pinching it with sharp or heavy objects. To
fully disconnect the unit from the power supply, pull the power cord out of the wall socket.
Placing Objects
Do not place any objects on this device. Damage to the unit may result. Due to operating
vibrations, objects may fall or be damaged.
Heat Source
Keep this unit away from radiant and contact heat sources such as stoves or direct
sunlight.
Water and Humidity
Do not use this unit in humid environment, e.g. in bathrooms, kitchens, etc. Avoid spilling
or contact withwater andother liquids. Do not place vases or pots on the unit.
Cleaning
Prior to cleaning, please disconnect power first. For cleaning, don’t use liquid detergents or
caustic liquids - just clean the unit with asoft cloth.
Connecting Other Devices
Ensure that the power is disconnected before connecting cables from other devices to this
unit. Otherwise damage to the unit or personal injury might occur.
Faults to Be Repaired
If any of the following problems occurs, please disconnect power to the unit and contact
aqualified service technician.
A. Power cord or plug is damaged.
B. Liquids or other foreign objects have penetrated inside the product.
C. the appliance was exposed to rain or water.
D. This unit has fallen on the ground from abig height.
E. Burns can be smelled from the product inside.

Maintenance
Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. By removing the cover, you are exposed
to arisk of electric shock. If needed, please contact aqualified service technician.
Note:
Before using this product, read these instructions carefully and keep it well for future
use.
Unit Location
The soundbar extends the sound capabilities of conventional systems. When used
together with the visual experience, place it as close as possible below the screen,
symmetrical to the centre of the screen. The front speakers should face as directly as
possible towards the listening position. Remember that rich sound means forced vibrations
of the surroundings andthe device itself. Avoid placing any items in the vicinity that
may rattle or vibrate. Keep the gap between the soundbar and the screen at least afew
millimetres.
Two types of placement are possible: on apad and mounted on awall.
Placing the Unit on the Pad
The soundbar pad must be straight andsolid. The size of the feet is optimised for the
correct sound of the subwoofers, do not cover them or put any other objects under the
soundbar, whether soft (textiles) or hard.
Placing the Unit on the Wall
Caution:
the included installation elements are suitable for solid walls with reliable contact
of dowels. If these elements are not sufficient, replace them with other, separately
purchased ones, which will secure the fixed location. Wall mounting is more
difficult to install. It is essential that the anchorage of the load-bearing screws is
absolutely solid. Please consultan expert. Do not place any objects on the fixed
unit.

Remote Control and Battery
Safety Precautions for Batteries
Always use batteries properly. Pay attention to the correct polarity (plus and minus) of
the inserted batteries. Use non-rechargeable batteries. Do not recharge non-rechargeable
batteries, disassemble the batteries and do not throw them in fire. Do not use different
types of batteries together or new batteries with old ones. Do not leave damaged or
discharged batteries in the remote. If the remote control is not to be used for an extended
period of time, remove the batteries to prevent it from damage by electrolyte leakage.
If the remote control is not working correctly or its operational range is reduced, change
all batteries for new ones. If electrolyte leakage occurs, first clean the battery case, then
replace the batteries with new ones.

Remote Control Instructions
Use the controller up to amaximum distance of about 7 m. Do not use the remote control
within the reach of an intense light source such as sunlight. Point the remote control at
the sensor (display). Avoid shocks, ingress of water, liquids andmoisture. Do not allow
pets to play with theremote control. Do not disassemble it.
Turning the Power On and Off
1. Plug the power cord into one side of the AC IN on the soundbar and the other side
into an AC outlet. When the soundbar is connected to the main power outlet, the unit
will be in standby mode with the LED display “--” illuminated.
2. Turn on the soundbar by briefly pressing the button on the soundbar or on the remote
control, then it will automatically enter the Bluetooth mode.
3. Press and hold the button on the soundbar or remote control for 2 seconds to turn the
unit off, and if you want to turn the unit off completely, unplug the main plug from the
main power outlet.
Mode Selection
MOVIE – mode optimised for movies anddramatic arts. It slightly widens the stereo base
and slightly harmonically emphasises the speech band.
MUSIC – music playback mode. It purely transmits stereo channels without harmonic
andspatial adjustment.
NEWS – amode optimised for the spoken word. Significantly reduces the noise andnoise
frequency band for the best speech intelligibility.
3D – space emphasis mode. It can be switched on or off independently of the above
modes. Indication on the display “3d”.
Selection of Inputs
Press the “ ” button on the soundbar or press the “MODE” button on the remote control
to select BT, AUX, OPTICAL, HDMI ARC. The selected input is briefly shown by the
display text.
Sound Playback via BT Connection
1. Turn on the soundbar, it will automatically switch to the Bluetooth mode, or if it
is inanother mode, short press the “ ” button on the soundbar or “MODE” on
the remote control to switch it to the Bluetooth mode. The LED display will show
aflashing “bt”.
2. Activate the pairing function on your phone or other compatible device andchoose
“SSB4450BS” using the BT connection.
3. After successful pairing, the small “bt” symbol will permanently appear on the LED
display. You can then play music on the soundbar from the phone or other compatible
device that you have paired.

4. Use the volume buttons on the soundbar or on the remote control to adjust the
volume according to your requirements.
5. If you wish, you can change the sound settings using the relevant buttons on the
remote control.
Note:
This soundbar has the memory of the last function used; after being turned on again, it
will use the last mode again before being turned off.
Aux Input (3.5 mm)
Requires 3.5 mm audio cable.
1. Connect a3.5 mm audio cable to the Aux In input on the unit andto the audio
output/headphone jack on the audio device.
2. Turn on the soundbar andpress the “ ” button on the soundbar or use the “MODE”
switch to select the Aux in mode. The LED display shows AUX.
3. Use the controls on the connected device to select andplay the sound. Make sure
that the volume on the connected device is audible at the start of playback.
Connecting the TV via HDMI Cable (Not Included) HDMI
ARC
HDMI offers excellent sound andpicture quality. This is the easiest way to connect
multimedia devices to thesoundbar.
1. Press the “ ” button on the soundbar or the “MODE” button on the remote control to
select the HDMI mode.
2. Use an HDMI cable (not included) to connect to aTV with an HDMI ARC port, making
sure the HDMI ARC function is enabled on the TV and the digital output is set to
PCM.
3. Use the volume buttons on the TV remote to change the volume of the Soundbar.
Optical Input
Requires an audio source withan optical audio output and adigital optical audio cable
(not included).
1. Use adigital optical audio cable to connect the optical input on the soundbar to the
optical output on the audio source (TV, amplifier, etc.).
2. Turn on the soundbar and press the Optical button on the remote control or Source on
the soundbar to select Optical mode. The LED display shows “OPT”.
3. On the connected audio source (TV, amplifier, etc.), make sure that the sound setting
is set to PCM or Optical Audio.
4. The sound played through the connected sound source (TV, amplifier, etc.) should now
be heard through the speaker.

Important Tips for Optical Sound:
• Use the correct optical audio cable andmake sure that it is firmly inserted in the
sockets of thepower supply and the soundbar.
• The optical audio output is activated from the audio source (red light should be visible
on the optical socket). Inthe source settings menu, it can be marked as S/PDIF.
• The optical output of the source should be set to PCM output, not Dolby Digital.
USB Playback
Briefly press the button to turn on the soundbar, insert the USB into the USB port and
the soundbar will start playing music on the USB drive, briefly press “ ” to play/pause
the music. MP3 music is played from theroot directory of the inserted USB disc.
Troubleshooting
Problems Solution
Bluetooth connection pairing
cannot be completed
Soundbar is still paired withthe previous mobile
device. Disable Bluetooth on the previous mobile
device. Only then search again for available devices
and pair again with the SSB 4450BS.
Bluetooth playback volume is
low
Check the volume settings on both the soundbar and
the mobile device and set both to an appropriate
value.
Short Bluetooth connection
distance
There is abarrier between mobile devices and the
Bluetooth device. Remove obstacles.
The Bluetooth connection is not

EN Warranty conditions
Warranty card is not apart of the device packaging.
This product is warranted for the period of 24 months from the date of purchase to the end-user. Warranty
is limited to the following conditions. Warranty is referred only to the customer goods using for common
domestic use. The claim for service can be applied either at dealer’sshop where the product was bought, or
at below mentioned authorized service shops. The end-user is obligated to set up aclaim immediately when
the defects appeared but only till the end of warranty period. The end user is obligated to cooperate to certify
the claiming defects. Only completed and clean (according to hygienic standards) product will be accepted.
In case of eligible warranty claim the warranty period will be prolonged by the period from the date of claim
application till the date of taking over the product by end-user, or the date the end-user is obligated to take it
over. To obtain the service under this warranty, end-user is obligated to certify his claim with duly completed
following documents: receipt, certificate of warranty, certificate of installation.
This warranty is void especially if apply as follows:
Defects which were put on sale.
Wear-out or damage caused by common use.
The product was damaged by unprofessional or wrong installation, used in contrary to the applicable
instruction manual, used in contrary to legal enactment and common process of use or used for another
purpose which has been designed for.
The product was damaged by uncared-for or insufficient maintenance.
