Reiskocher
Bitte die Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig vor
der Benutzung des Gerätes durchlesen und
für den weiteren Gebrauch aufbewahren.
Das Gerät darf nur von Personen benutzt
werden, die mit den Sicherheitsanweisungen
vertraut sind.
Anschluss
Das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig
installierte Schutzkontaktsteckdose
anschließen. Die Netzspannung muss
der auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes
angegebenen Spannung entsprechen. Das
Gerät entspricht den Richtlinien, die für die
CE-Kennzeichnung verbindlich sind.

∙Reinigung und Benutzer-

fernhalten. Es besteht u.a.
Erstickungsgefahr!
∙Vor der Inbetriebnahme das komplette
Gerät inkl. Anschlussleitung und
eventueller Zubehörteile auf Mängel
überprüfen, die die Funktionssicherheit
des Gerätes beeinträchtigen könnten.
Falls das Gerät z.B. zu Boden gefallen
ist oder an der Anschlussleitung
gezogen wurde, können von außen nicht
erkennbare Schäden vorliegen. In diesen
Fällen das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen.
∙Weder das Gerät noch die
Anschlussleitung dürfen äußerer
Hitzeeinwirkung ausgesetzt werden.
∙Das Gerät nur auf eine was-
serunempfindliche wärmebeständige
ebene Fläche stellen.
∙Verbrennungsgefahr! Aus dem

Dampfauslass im Deckel tritt heißer
Dampf aus. Dies ist besonders beim
Öffnen des Deckels zu beachten.
∙Der Dampfauslass muss stets so
aufgesetzt sein, dass die Schlitze vom
Griff wegweisen.
∙Den Reis nur mit dem beiliegenden
Löffel entnehmen! Die Beschichtung des
Reistopfes darf nicht durch scharfe oder
spitze Gegenstände beschädigt werden.
Bei einer Beschädigung der Beschichtung
darf der Reistopf nicht mehr benutzt
werden.
∙Achtung! Wasser nur in den Reistopf
füllen. Kein Wasser in das Gehäuse
füllen.
∙Das Gerät während des Betriebs nicht
unbeaufsichtigt lassen.
∙Die Anschlussleitung immer zuerst an
den Reiskocher anschließen, bevor der
Netzstecker in eine Steckdose gesteckt
wird.
∙Das Gerät ausschalten und den
Netzstecker ziehen,
-bei Störungen während des
Betriebes,
-nach jedem Gebrauch,
-vor jeder Reinigung.
∙Den Netzstecker nicht an der
Anschlussleitung aus der Steckdose
ziehen, sondern den Netzstecker
anfassen.
∙Die Anschlussleitung nicht
herunterhängen lassen und von heißen
Geräteteilen fernhalten.
∙Wird das Gerät falsch bedient, oder
zweckentfremdet verwendet, kann keine
Haftung für evtl. auftretende Schäden
übernommen werden.
Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme
Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme die Aufkleber
im Reistopf entfernen und das Gerät wie
unter Reinigung und Pflege beschrieben
reinigen.
Messbecher
Der Messbecher (Cup) hat zwei Skalen.
Die eine Skala gibt die Werte in ml an; die
andere in Cup. Der maximale Wert (180 ml;
1 Cup) wird erreicht, wenn der Becher bis
zum Rand gefüllt wird.
Für den Reiskocher wird lediglich die
Abmessung eines ganzen Messbechers
(Cups) benötigt.
Reistopf mit CUP- und L-Skala
∙Die CUP-Skala dient zum Abmessen der
Reismenge mithilfe des beiliegenden
Messbechers (Cup):
∙Die gewünschte Menge Reis mit dem
Messbecher in den Reistopf füllen
(zwischen 2 und 10 Cups).
∙Den Reistopf mit Wasser auffüllen, bis
der entsprechende Teilstrich auf der Cup-
Skala im Reistopf erreicht ist. Bei z.B. 4
Cups eingefülltem Reis, muss Wasser
bis zum Teilstrich 4 auf der Cup-Skala im
Reistopf eingefüllt werden.
∙Die L-Skala dient zum Abmessen der
Reismenge mithilfe eines handelsüblichen
Messbechers:
∙Den handelsüblichen Messbecher mit 0.6
-1.8 l Reis füllen.
∙Den Reistopf mit Wasser auffüllen, bis
der entsprechende Teilstrich auf der
L-Skala im Reistopf erreicht ist. Bei z.B. 1
l eingefülltem Reis, muss Wasser bis zum
Teilstrich 1.0 auf der L-Skala im Reistopf
eingefüllt werden.

Temperaturregler
Das Gerät ist mit einem Temperaturregler
ausgestattet. Nachdem beim Kochvorgang
das Wasser vollständig verdampft ist,
schaltet das Gerät auf die Warmhalte-
Funktion um.
Umschalter
Mit dem Umschalter kann zwischen
der Koch- und der Warmhalte-Funktion
gewechselt werden.
Falls der Reistopf nicht im Gehäuse bzw.
nicht ordnungsgemäß eingesetzt ist, kann
der Umschalter nicht betätigt werden.
Bedienung
Reiskochen
∙Den Deckel des Reiskochers öffnen,
indem die Deckelentriegelung gedrückt
und der Deckel am Griff hochgezogen
wird.
∙Den Reistopf in den Reiskocher setzen.
∙Gewünschte Menge Reis in den Reistopf
füllen (Siehe Reistopf mit CUP- und
L-Skala).
∙Den Reistopf mit Wasser auffüllen, bis
der entsprechende Teilstrich auf der Cup-
oder L-Skala im Reistopf erreicht ist.
∙Gegebenenfalls Salz hinzugeben.
∙Deckel schließen.
∙Die Anschlussleitung mit Steckadapter am
Reiskocher anschließen. Anschließend
den Netzstecker in die Steckdose
stecken.
∙Den Schalter auf der linken Geräteseite
einschalten.
∙Den Umschalter nach unten drücken.
∙Der Kochvorgang wird gestartet und
die rote Kochvorgang-Kontrollleuchte
leuchtet.
∙Nachdem das Wasser vollständig
verdampft ist, schaltet das Gerät auf
die Warmhalte-Funktion. Die rote
Kochvorgang-Kontrollleuchte erlischt
und die gelbe Warmhalte-Kontrollleuchte
leuchtet.
∙Den Reis nun noch ca. 5 Minuten
nachgaren lassen, bevor er aus dem Topf
genommen wird.
∙Das Gerät ausschalten und den
Netzstecker ziehen.
∙Den Deckel durch Betätigen der
Deckelentriegelung öffnen.
∙Verbrennungsgefahr! Vorsicht vor
dem austretenden Dampf.
Tipps zur Reiszubereitung
∙Vor der Zubereitung die
Herstellerangaben auf der Verpackung
beachten, ob der Reis vor dem Kochen
gewaschen werden muss.
∙Zur Zubereitung von etwas weicherem
Reis, die Herstellerangaben auf der
Verpackung für Quell-Reis beachten bzw.
den Reis vorher für ca. 15 Minuten in
Wasser einweichen.
∙Das Gerät ist nicht zur Zubereitung von
Milchreis geeignet. Die Milch würde
anbrennen.
Dämpfen
Zum Dämpfen von Fleisch, Kartoffeln und
Gemüse den Dämpf-Einsatz verwenden.
∙3 Messbecher (Cup) Wasser in den
Reistopf gießen. Diese Wassermenge
ist ausreichend für eine Garzeit von 30
Minuten.
∙Das jeweilige vorbereitete Lebensmittel
in den Dämpf-Einsatz geben und diesen
dann in den Reistopf setzen.
∙Deckel schließen.

∙Die Anschlussleitung mit Steckadapter am
Reiskocher anschließen. Anschließend
den Netzstecker in die Steckdose
stecken.
∙Den Schalter auf der linken Geräteseite
einschalten.
∙Den Umschalter nach unten drücken.
∙Der Kochvorgang wird gestartet.
∙Die Dämpfzeit richtet sich je nach
Lebensmittel. Blumenkohl und Möhren
benötigen ca. 15 Minuten, Zucchini ca.
10 Minuten.
∙Den Deckel während des Dämpfens nach
Möglichkeit immer geschlossen, damit der
zum Garen der Lebensmittel benötigte
Dampf nicht verloren geht.
∙Nach Ende der gewünschten Dämpfzeit
das Gerät ausschalten und den
Netzstecker ziehen.
∙Den Deckel durch Betätigen der
Deckelentriegelung öffnen.
∙Verbrennungsgefahr! Vorsicht vor
dem austretenden Dampf.
∙Mit Hilfe von Topflappen den Dämpf-
Einsatz vorsichtig entnehmen.
∙Nach einer ausreichenden Abkühlzeit
eventuelles Restwasser aus dem Reistopf
ausgießen.
Auffangbehälter
∙Im Auffangbehälter an der
Deckelrückseite wird das Wasser, das
sich von innen am Deckel sammelt,
aufgefangen.
∙Der Auffangbehälter muss nach jedem
Gebrauch entleert werden.
∙Dazu den Auffangbehälter abziehen,
entleeren und wieder einsetzen.
Reinigung und Pflege
∙Vor der Reinigung den Netzstecker
ziehen und das Gerät abkühlen lassen.
∙Das Gerät darf aus Gründen der
elektrischen Sicherheit nicht mit
Flüssigkeiten behandelt oder gar darin
eingetaucht werden.
∙Keine scharfen und scheuernden
Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
∙Das Gerät nur mit einem angefeuchteten
Tuch reinigen.
∙Reistopf, Dämpfeinsatz und Löffel
im Spülwasser reinigen. Nicht in der
Spülmaschine reinigen!
∙Auffangbehälter entleeren.
∙Den Deckel von außen und innen nur mit
einem angefeuchteten Tuch reinigen.
∙Den Dampfauslass nach jedem Gebrauch
abnehmen und mit Wasser ausspülen.
Gut trocknen lassen und wieder
einsetzen.
∙Der Dampfauslass muss stets so
aufgesetzt sein, dass die Schlitze vom
Griff wegweisen.

Ersatzteile oder Zubehör können bequem

Entsorgung
Geräte, die mit diesem Symbol
gekennzeichnet sind, müssen
getrennt vom Hausmüll entsorgt
werden. Diese Geräte enthalten
wertvolle Rohstoffe, die wiederverwertet
werden können. Eine ordnungsgemäße
Entsorgung schützt die Umwelt und die
Gesundheit Ihrer Mitmenschen. Ihre
Gemeindeverwaltung bzw. Ihr Fachhändler

gibt Auskunft über die ordnungsgemäße
Entsorgung.
Garantie
Von den nachfolgenden
Garantiebedingungen bleiben die
gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsrechte
gegenüber dem Verkäufer und eventuelle
Verkäufergarantien unberührt. Wenden Sie
sich im Garantiefall daher direkt an den
Fachhändler. Zusätzlich gewährt SEVERIN
eine Herstellergarantie von zwei Jahren ab
Kaufdatum. In diesem Zeitraum beseitigen
wir kostenlos alle Mängel, die nachweislich
auf Material- oder Fertigungsfehlern beruhen
und die Funktion wesentlich beeinträchtigen.
Weitere Ansprüche sind ausgeschlossen.
Von der Garantie ausgenommen sind:
Schäden, die auf Nichtbeachtung der
Gebrauchsanweisung, unsachgemäße
Behandlung oder normalen Verschleiß
zurückzuführen sind, ebenso leicht
zerbrechliche Teile wie z. B. Glas, Kunststoff
oder Glühlampen. Die Garantie erlischt bei
Eingriff nicht von SEVERIN autorisierter
Stellen. Sollte eine Reparatur erforderlich
werden, setzen Sie sich bitte telefonisch
oder per Mail mit unserem Kundendienst in
Verbindung. Die Kontaktdaten finden Sie im
Anhang der Anleitung.

Dear Customer,
Before using the appliance, please read the
following instructions carefully and keep this
manual for future reference. The appliance
must only be used by persons familiar with
these instructions.
Connection to the mains supply
The appliance should only be connected to
an earthed socket installed in accordance
with the regulations. Make sure that the
supply voltage corresponds with the voltage
marked on the rating label. This product
complies with all binding CE labelling
directives.

Should the appliance, for instance, have

excessive force has been used to pull the
power cord, it must no longer be used:
even invisible damage may have adverse
effects on the operational safety of the
appliance.
∙Do not allow the housing or its power
cord to touch hot surfaces or to come into
contact with any heat sources.
∙During operation, the appliance must be
placed on a level surface, resistant to
heat and water.
∙Caution: Danger of scalding.
During operation, hot steam is emitted
through the steam release valve in the

lid. Exercise extreme caution: There is a
risk of scalding, especially when opening
the lid.
∙Always ensure that the steam release is
fitted with the vents facing away from the
handle.
∙Caution: When removing the rice, use
only the spoon provided. In order to
prevent damage to the surface-coating of
the rice pan, do not use sharp or pointed
objects; if the coating is damaged, the
rice pan can no longer be used.
∙Attention: Only the rice pan must be
filled with water. Do not, under any
circumstances, pour water into the
housing.
∙Do not leave the appliance unattended
during use.
∙Always connect the power cord to the rice
cooker first, before it is plugged into a wall
socket.
∙Always switch off and remove the plug
from the wall socket
-in cases of malfunction,
-after use,
-during cleaning.
∙When removing the plug from the wall
socket, never pull on the power cord;
always grip the plug itself.
∙Do not allow the power cord to hang free;
the cord must be kept well away from hot
parts of the appliance.
∙No responsibility is accepted if damage
results from improper use, or if these
instructions are not complied with.
Before using for the first time
Before the appliance is used for the first
time, remove the stickers from the rice pan
and clean the appliance as described in the
section Cleaning and care.
Measuring cup
The measuring cup (Cup) contains two
scales. One shows the content in millilitres
(ml), the other one in ‘cups’. The maximum
content (180 ml or 1 cup) is reached if the
cup is completely full.
For cooking rice, only a full cup measure is
required.
Rice pan with CUP and L-scales
∙The CUP scale is suitable for measuring
rice with the measuring cup (Cup)
provided:
∙Use the measuring cup to put the desired
quantity of rice into the rice pan (between
2 and 10 cups).
∙Fill the rice pan with water up to the
appropriate CUP scale marking on inside
the pan. If, for example, 4 cups of rice
have been put in, the water level should
reach the 4-mark on the CUP scale inside
the pan.
∙The L-scale permits measuring the
amount of rice using any standard
measuring cup:
∙Fill the measuring cup with 0.6 -1.8 l of
rice.
∙Fill the rice pan with water up to the
appropriate L-scale marking inside the
pan. If, for example, 1 L of rice has been
put in, the water level should reach up
to the 1.0 mark on the L-scale inside the
pan.
Temperature control
The appliance uses an integral temperature
control. Once the water has completely
evaporated during the cooking process, the
unit automatically switches to the keep-warm
function.

Selector switch
The selector switch can be used to switch
between the cooking and keep-warm
functions.
The switch cannot be operated unless the
rice pan is correctly fitted inside the housing.
Operation
Cooking rice
∙Open the lid of the rice cooker by holding
down the lid release, and pulling the lid up
by its handle.
∙Place the rice pan inside the appliance.
∙Put the desired quantity of rice into the
rice pan (see Rice pan with CUP and
L-scales).
∙Add water to the rice until the appropriate
mark on the Cup or L-scale inside the
pan is reached.
∙Add salt as desired.
∙Close the lid.
∙Connect the power cord to the rice cooker
first, and then insert the plug into the wall
socket.
∙Turn the On/Off switch on the left side on
the appliance on.
∙Push the selector switch down.
∙The cooking process begins as indicated
by the red cooking indicator light.
∙Once the water has completely
evaporated during the cooking process,
the unit automatically switches to the
keep-warm function. The red cooking
indicator light goes out and is replaced by
the yellow keep-warm indicator light.
∙The rice should then be left to stand for
further 5 minutes before being removed
from the pan.
∙Switch off the appliance and remove the
plug from the wall socket.
∙Use the lid release to open the lid.
∙Danger of scalding. Beware of
escaping steam.
Useful hints on cooking rice
∙Always check the packaging for
information on whether the rice needs to
be washed before cooking.
∙Should you prefer softer rice, check the
packaging for specific information about
steamed rice, or pre-soak the rice in water
for approximately 15 minutes before
cooking.
∙This rice cooker is not suitable for
preparing rice pudding or creamed rice,
as the milk will burn.
Steaming
Meat, potatoes and vegetables can be
steamed using the steaming tray.
∙Put 3 cups (Cup) of water into the rice
pan. This amount of water is sufficient to
steam for 30 minutes.
∙Put the prepared food into the steaming
tray and place it into the rice pan.
∙Close the lid.
∙Connect the power cord to the rice cooker
first before inserting the plug into the wall
socket.
∙Turn the On/Off switch on the left side on
the appliance on.
∙Push the selector switch down.
∙The cooking process begins.
∙The steaming time largely depends on
the type of food used. While cauliflower
and carrots require a steaming time of
approx. 15 minutes, zucchini only need
10 minutes.
∙In order to prevent the steam from
escaping during the steaming process,
the lid should be kept closed.
∙Once the desired steaming time has
elapsed, switch the appliance off and

remove the plug from the wall socket.
∙Use the lid release to open the lid.
∙Danger of scalding. Beware of
escaping steam.
∙Use an oven cloth to remove the
steaming tray carefully from the rice pan.
∙Any remaining water in the rice pan may
be poured out once the appliance has
sufficiently cooled down.
Condensation collection container
∙The condensation container at the rear of
the lid collects any condensation forming
on the inside of the lid.
∙The container must be emptied after each
cycle of use.
∙Simply pull the container out, empty and
then re-insert it.
Cleaning and care
∙Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance
from the mains and wait until it has
completely cooled down.
∙To avoid the risk of electric shock, do
not clean the appliance with liquids or
immerse it.

En cours de fonctionnement, l’orifice
d’échappement de vapeur du couvercle
émet de la vapeur chaude. Il peut y
avoir un risque de s’ébouillanter, tout
particulièrement quand on ouvre le
couvercle.
∙Assurez-vous toujours que l’orifice
d’échappement de la vapeur est orienté à
l’opposé de la poignée.
∙Attention : Pour vider le riz, utilisez
uniquement la cuillère fournie. Afin
d’empêcher le revêtement intérieur du bol
à riz de s’abîmer, n’utilisez pas d’objets
tranchants ou pointus ; si le revêtement
est abîmé, on ne peut plus utiliser le bol à
riz.
∙Attention : Seul le bol à riz doit être
rempli d’eau. Ne jamais, en aucun cas,
verser de l’eau dans le corps.
∙Ne laissez pas l’appareil sans
surveillance lorsqu’il est en marche.
∙Il faut toujours brancher le cordon
électrique au cuiseur de riz en premier,
avant de le brancher à une prise murale.
∙Eteignez l’appareil et débranchez-le de
la prise secteur
-en cas de fonctionnement
défectueux,
-après l’emploi,
-avant de nettoyer l’appareil.
∙Pour retirer le cordon de la prise murale,
ne tirez jamais sur le fil mais servez-vous
de la fiche.
∙Ne laissez pas le cordon d’alimentation
pendre librement ; le cordon devra
toujours être tenu à l’abri des surfaces
brûlantes de l’appareil.
∙Nous déclinons toute responsabilité pour
les dommages susceptibles de résulter

Avant la première utilisation
Avant d’utiliser l’appareil pour la première
fois, enlevez les étiquettes du bol à riz et
nettoyez l’appareil selon les instructions du
paragraphe Entretien et nettoyage.
Gobelet doseur
Le gobelet doseur (tasse) contient deux
graduations. L’une indique le contenu en
millilitres (ml), l’autre en cup (tasses). Le
contenu maximum (de 180 ml ou 1 cup

= tasse) est atteint quand le gobelet est
complètement plein.
Pour la cuisson du riz, seule une mesure
pleine est requise.
Bol à riz avec graduations TASSE et L
∙Les graduations TASSE conviennent pour
mesurer la quantité de riz requise avec le
gobelet doseur (TASSE) fourni :
∙Servez-vous du gobelet doseur pour
verser la quantité désirée de riz dans le
bol à riz (entre 2 et 10 gobelets).
∙Remplissez le bol à riz d’eau jusqu’au
niveau TASSE requis indiqué à l’intérieur
du bol. Si, par exemple, vous avez versé
4 mesures de riz, le niveau de l’eau doit
atteindre le niveau 4 sur l’échelle de
graduations TASSE à l’intérieur du bol.
∙Les graduations Lpermettent de mesurer
la quantité de riz lorsque n’importe quel
gobelet doseur standard est utilisé :
∙Remplissez le gobelet doseur de 0,6 à 1,8
l de riz.
∙Remplissez le bol à riz d’eau pour
atteindre la graduation L requise à
l’intérieur du bol. Si, par exemple, vous
avez utilisé 1 L de riz, le niveau de
l’eau doit atteindre la graduation 1.0 sur
l’échelle de graduations Là l’intérieur du
bol.
Réglage de la température
L’appareil utilise un réglage de la
température intégrant. Dès que l’eau s’est
complètement évaporée pendant la cuisson,
l’appareil passe automatiquement à la
fonction de maintien au chaud.
Interrupteur sélecteur
On peut utiliser l’interrupteur sélecteur pour
passer de la fonction de cuisson à la fonction
de maintien au chaud et vice-versa.
L’interrupteur ne peut être utilisé que
lorsque le bol à riz est correctement placé à
l’intérieur du corps.
Fonctionnement
Cuisson du riz
∙Ouvrez le couvercle du cuiseur en
appuyant sur le dispositif d’ouverture, et
en soulevant le couvercle par sa poignée.
∙Mettez le bol à riz à l’intérieur de
l’appareil.
∙Versez la quantité de riz désirée dans
le bol (voir paragraphe Bol à riz avec
graduations TASSE et L).
∙Versez l’eau sur le riz jusqu’à la
graduation appropriée, soit en suivant les
graduations TASSE soit les graduations L
à l’intérieur du bol.
∙Ajoutez du sel à votre goût.
∙Fermez le couvercle.
∙Branchez le cordon électrique au cuiseur
de riz en premier et, ensuite, branchez la
fiche à la prise murale.
∙Tournez le commutateur marche/arrêt sur
le côté gauche de l’appareil pour mettre
l’appareil en marche.
∙Appuyez sur l’interrupteur sélecteur.
∙La cuisson commence comme l’indique le
témoin indicateur rouge de cuisson.
∙Lorsque l’eau s’est complètement
évaporée pendant la cuisson, l’appareil
passe automatiquement à la fonction de
maintien au chaud. Le témoin indicateur
rouge de cuisson s’éteint et est remplacé
par le témoin indicateur jaune de maintien
au chaud.

∙Ensuite, laissez reposer le riz pendant 5
minutes avant de l’enlever du bol.
∙Éteignez l’appareil et débranchez la fiche
de la prise de courant.
∙Utilisez le dispositif d’ouverture du
couvercle pour ouvrir le couvercle.
∙Risque de brûlure. Faites attention à
la vapeur qui en sort.
Petits conseils sur le riz
∙Vérifiez toujours les instructions sur
l’emballage pour voir s’il faut rincer le riz
avant la cuisson.
∙Si vous préférez obtenir un riz plus
cuit, vérifiez l’emballage pour voir les
informations sur le riz cuit vapeur, ou bien
faites tremper le riz dans de l’eau pendant
environ 15 minutes avant de le faire cuire.
∙Ce cuiseur de riz ne convient pas à la
cuisson de riz au lait ou de crème de riz,
car le lait roussirait.
Cuisson à la vapeur
La viande, les pommes de terre et les
légumes peuvent être cuits à la vapeur en
utilisant le bol vapeur.
∙Mettez 3 tasses (cup) d’eau dans le bol
à riz. Cette quantité d’eau suffit pour une
cuisson vapeur de 30 minutes.
∙Placez les aliments préparés dans le bol
vapeur et placez celui-ci dans le bol à riz.
∙Fermez le couvercle.
∙Raccordez le cordon électrique au cuiseur
de riz en premier avant de mettre la fiche
dans la prise murale.
∙Tournez le commutateur marche/arrêt sur
le côté gauche de l’appareil pour mettre
l’appareil en marche.
∙Appuyez sur l’interrupteur sélecteur.
∙La cuisson démarre.
∙Le temps de cuisson vapeur dépend
largement du type d’aliments utilisés.
La cuisson vapeur du chou-fleur et des
carottes nécessite environ 15 minutes,
les courgettes n’ont besoin que de 10
minutes.
∙Pour empêcher la vapeur de s’échapper
pendant la cuisson, il faut que le
couvercle soit fermé.
∙Une fois le temps de cuisson vapeur
écoulé, éteignez l’appareil et débranchez
la fiche de la prise murale.
∙Utilisez le dispositif d’ouverture du
couvercle pour ouvrir le couvercle.
∙Risque de brûlure. Faites attention à
la vapeur qui en sort.
∙Utilisez un gant de cuisine pour enlever
le bol vapeur du bol à riz en faisant bien
attention.
∙Vous pouvez vider toute eau restant
encore dans le bol à riz dès que l’appareil
a suffisamment refroidi.
Réservoir récupérateur
∙Le réservoir récupérateur de
condensation à l’arrière de l’appareil
récupère la condensation qui se forme à
l’intérieur du couvercle.
∙Le réservoir doit être vidé après chaque
utilisation.
∙Retirez simplement le réservoir, videz-le
et installez-le à nouveau.
Entretien et nettoyage
∙Avant de nettoyer l’appareil, débranchez
toujours la fiche de la prise de courant et
laissez l’appareil refroidir suffisamment.
∙Pour éviter le risque de chocs électriques,
ne pas nettoyer l’appareil avec du liquide
et ne pas le plonger dans du liquide.
∙N’utilisez aucun produit de nettoyage
abrasif ou concentré.

∙L’appareil devrait être nettoyé uniquement
au moyen d’un chiffon humide non
pelucheux.
∙Le bol à riz, le bol vapeur et la cuillère
peuvent être lavés à l’eau chaude.
Remarque : Ces accessoires ne peuvent
pas être lavés au lave-vaisselle.
∙Videz le réservoir récupérateur.
∙L’extérieur et l’intérieur du couvercle
peut être nettoyé au moyen d’un chiffon
humide non pelucheux.
∙L’orifice d’échappement de la vapeur doit
être retiré après chaque utilisation et doit
être soigneusement rincé. Assurez-vous
qu’il est bien sec avant de le replacer sur
l’appareil.
∙Assurez-vous toujours que l’orifice
d’échappement de la vapeur est orienté à
l’opposé de la poignée.

Les appareils qui portent ce
