安全指示
4. 使用时不要让产品摔落，或与硬物摩擦撞击，否则会导致表面
磨花，电池脱落，数据丢失或其它硬件损坏，不要剧烈震动或
撞击，防止不正确使用而损伤本产品。

NFC快速配对
配对超时
开机状态下，Android设备开启NFC功能且 屏幕，靠近NFC感
应区即可进行配对连接。
解锁
配对状态未连接，蓝色和红色指标灯快速交替闪烁，5分钟后耳放
自动关机。
连接成功
耳放在配对状态下，手机打开蓝牙搜索耳放 ( Shanling UP4) 并连
接，连接成功后蓝色指示灯5秒闪1次。
连接断开
1. 耳放和手机的距离超出有效连接范围，10分钟后耳放自动关机，
前5分钟蓝色指示灯5秒闪烁1次，后5分钟蓝色和红色指示灯快
速交替闪烁。

下一曲
播放状态下，快速短按 键 。多功能 2次为切换下一曲
同时连接两部手机
3. 将耳放开机，耳放会自动回连到手机2，此时在手机1上手动连
接耳放，蓝色指示灯5秒闪烁1次。
上一曲
播放状态下，快速 键 为切换上一曲。短按多功能 3次
播放/暂停
快速短按多功能键1次，可切换播放/暂停状态。
接听来电
来电时短按 键 ，多功能 1次 蓝色指示灯5秒闪烁1次。

USB DAC功能
当山灵UP4作为USB DAC使用时，首先要使USB线材连接UP4与电
脑，并且插入耳机，UP4工作指示灯为红色 (电池充满后灯为绿色)。
打开UP4会自动进入USB DAC模式，电脑将会自动安装所需的驱
动软件，打开声音设置，在设备列表中把“扬声器 Shanling UP4”
设置为您的默认声音输出设备。在连接成功后，播放音乐时，指
示灯为白色（电池充满后灯为青色）。

1. 推荐使用DC5V 1A适配器，使用适配器电压过高可能会损坏机器。
常见问题
机器使用出现故障或死机时，插入USB使机器复位。

Power ON / OFF / Standby
Operation Instructions
1. Power on: Press and hold the multifunctional button for 3 seconds,
the Shanling UP4 will power on and the blue light indicator will flash 3
times.
2. Power Off: Press and hold the multifunctional button for 3 seconds,
the red light indicator will stay on for 2 seconds and then the Shanling
UP4 will power off.
3. Standby: After connecting successfully, the Shanling UP4
automatically enters the standby mode, and the blue light indicator
flashes once every 5 seconds.
Pairing mode
1. While the Shanling UP4 is powered off, press and hold the
multifunctional button for 5 seconds, until the indicator flashes red
and blue lights alternately. The Shanling UP4 is now ready for pairing.
2. After powering on, the Shanling UP4 will firstly try to reconnect to the
last connected device. If it fails to reconnect within 30 seconds, the
Shanling UP4 will enter the pairing mode and the indicator will flash
red and blue lights alternately. The Shanling UP4 can now be paired
with another device.
3. After manually disconnecting the connected device, the Shanling UP4
will automatically enter the pairing mode and the indicator will flash
red and blue lights alternately. The Shanling UP4 can now be paired
with another device.

NFC Quick Pairing
Pairing Timeout
Switch the UP4 into pairing mode. Make sure you have NFC enabled on
your Android device. Bring your device to the NFC sensor on the UP4 to
initiate quick pairing.
If no device is paired with the Shanling UP4 in 5 minutes after entering
the pairing mode, Shanling UP4 will automatically power off.
Pairing process
While the Shanling UP4 is in pairing mode, turn on Bluetooth on your
device and search for available Bluetooth devices. Click on “Shanling
UP4” to finish pairing process. If the pairing was successful, the
indicator will flash blue light every 5 seconds.
Disconnection
1. If the distance between the Shanling UP4 and the connected device is
beyond the effective connection range, the Shanling UP4 will
automatically power off after 10 minutes.
2. If you manually turn off Bluetooth on the connected device, the
Shanling UP4 will automatically enter pairing mode and if no new
device is connected within 5 minutes, the Shanling UP4 will power off
automatically.

3. Power on the Shanling UP4 and it will automatically re-connect to the
second device. Turn on Bluetooth on the first device and connect it
manually with the Shanling UP4. Now both devices are connected to
the Shanling UP4 simultaneously.
Next Track
Quickly press the multifunctional button twice to jump to the next track.
Previous Track
Quickly press the multifunctional button three times to jump to the
previous track.
Play / Pause
Press the multifunctional button once to pause or resume playback.
Answering Call
If the Shanling UP4 is connected to the device when a new call comes in,
press the multifunctional button once to answer the incoming call.
Simultaneously Connecting Two Devices
1. After pairing the Shanling UP4 with the fist device (indicator will flash
blue light every 5 seconds), power off the Shanling UP4 and turn off
Bluetooth on the first device.
2. Pair the Shanling UP4 with the second device. After pairing is
successful (indicator will flash blue light every 5 seconds), power off
the Shanling UP4 again.

During the call, quickly press the multifunctional button twice to switch
the call from the Shanling UP4 to the connected device. Repeat to
switch the call back to the Shanling UP4.

Ending Call
Press the multifunctional button once to end the ongoing call.
Refusing Call
When a new call comes in, quickly press the multifunctional button
twice to refuse incoming call.
Volume Control
Turn the wheel clockwise to increase the volume or counterclockwise to
decrease the volume.
3. Press and hold the Mode button for three seconds to switch between
Digital Filters.
Amp Gain Mode and Digital Filter Switching
1. Press the Mode button once to display current Amp Gain mode.
2. Press the Mode button twice to switch between Amp Gain modes.

USB DAC function
Firmware Update
Visit the official website at www.shanling.com and go to the dedicated
page of Shanling UP4 to download the latest firmware. Follow the
included instructions to update the firmware of the Shanling UP4.
To use the UP4 as a USB DAC, firstly connect the UP4 to the computer
with the USB cable and plug in your headphones. The LED indicator will
show constant red light (or green light if the UP4 is fully charged). Then
turn on the UP4, computer will automatically recognize it and install any
needed drivers. Open the sound device settings and set the device listed
as “Speaker Shanling UP4” as your default audio device. The LED
indicator will show constant white light when there is audio playing on
computer (or cyan light if the UP4 is fully charged).

4. If there is noise from headphones, headphone's connector may not
be fully inserted, please try to insert it again.
Common Problems
1. It is recommended to use DC5V 1A charger. Using a charger with
higher voltage may damage the Shanling UP4.
2. If the Shanling UP4 can't be powered on, battery might be depleted.
Please recharge it and try again.
3. When the Shanling UP4 freezes or keep crashing, connect it to a USB
charger or USB port of the computer to reset the Shanling UP4.
5. When there is no sound, try to use different pair of headphones or
different cable and make sure the system volume is set correctly.
