Briefinstructions on setting up and projecting using the Mitsubishi portable projector in any room
1.0Setup
1.1Connectcomputer'snetworkcableandpluginitspowercord.
1.2Connectextensioncableskeptwithworkstation(ifnotalreadyconnected):
a)oneextensiontomonitorportoncpu(adapterneededwithMac)
b)theotherextensiontothemonitorcable.
1.3Connecttheprojector'sblackRGBcable***:
a)oneendtotheCOMPUTER1 INportonprojector
b)theotherendtotheextensioncableleadingtothemonitorportonthecpu.
1.4ConnectthemonitorcabletotheCOMPUTEROUTportontheprojector***.
***Use the beige extension cables kept onthe cart ifmore room isneeded between the
computer and the projector.
1.5Connecttheprojector'spowercordfromtheACINportontheprojectortothepower
striponthecart.
1.6Plugthepowerstripcordintoanoutletorintothepowerstriponthebackofthe
workstation.
1.7PowerONtocomputer.
1.8PowerontoMitsubishiintwosteps:
a)turnonMAINpowerswitchonsideofprojector,/f^s
b)pressthepowerbuttononthetopoftheprojector%uj) orthebluepowerbutton
ontheremote.Note that the remote will not work well with the fluorescent lights on.
1.9Afterturningontheprojectoryouwillseea solidanda flashinggreenlightonitstop
indicatingthattheprojectoriswarmingup(takesabout1 minute).Whenbothlights
aresolidgreen,thentheprojectoriswarmedupandyoushouldseethecomputer's
imageonthescreen- iftheprojectorisnotwarmeduptherewillbenoimageonthe
screen.Iftheprojectoriswarmedupbutthereisstillnoimage,pressthebutton
labeledCOMPUTER.TrypressingCOMPUTERonceagainifthereisstillnoimage
onthescreen.
2.0AdjustingHeightandFocus
2.1Theheightoftheprojectedimageisadjustableusingthetwo"feet"atthefront ofthe
projectorwhichwilldropdownbypressingtheblackbuttonsonthefront.The"feet"
canalsobemoved byscrewing/unscrewingthem.
2.2ToFOCUSfollowthesesteps:
a)OneitherthetopoftheprojectorortheremotepressZOOM/ FOCUSwhich
togglesbetweenthezoomfunctionandfocus.SelectFOCUS.
b)AfterselectingFOCUSuse- + tosharpentheimage.
