Media Projector - Operation Instructions
1) Set up and Installation
Carefully remove the projector from the box. Make sure you have removed all the
parts in the package. Be sure to read the instruction manual thoroughly before
getting started with the projector set-up.
• Position the projector on a at surface up to 6ft. (72”) from the surface on
which you want to project.
• The projector can be projected onto a screen, a light-colored wall or ceiling
using the provided stand.
• Plug the projector into an electric outlet and check to be sure plug is inserted
correctly. CAUTION: Loose connecting plugs may cause ELECTRIC SHOCK.
• Connect the projector to the source using the supplied cables. (red and
white for audio; yellow for video).
NOTE: For better sound quality, connect the audio cables (red and white)
to an external sound system.
• Once projector is powered on, the fan and the lamp will run. An introductory
screen will appear on the viewing surface.
WARNING: Do not place the projector on a carpeted or upholstered surface to avoid re.
2) Operation
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance is equipped with
a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other). This pug will t in a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not t fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not t, contact a qualied electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not
change the plug in any way.
• Plug projector into main outlet.
• Press the “POWER” button located on top of the projector to turn on.
• Adjust the stand to make sure the image is projected evenly onto the viewing surface.
• Adjust the focus by turning the lens bezel housing clockwise or
counter-clockwise until you have a sharp viewing image.
• Adjust contrast with the contrast control button located on top of projector.
• Adjust color saturation with the color control button located on top of the projector.
• You can now enjoy your favorite DVD or video games.
• Control the volume with the volume control button located on top of the projector.
• You may also use remote to control volume, contrast and color.
WARNING – Switch off the main power button of the unit when not in use.

3) Maintenance
• To clean the lens, rst blow away dust particles with clean and dry air to avoid
scratching the lens surface.
• Do not use any type of uid or cleaner on the lens surface as they might
damage the lens coating.
• To replace the light bulb, follow all the steps completely below:
– Turn off the projector, DO NOT unplug, and allow it to cool for
30 minutes; red light will be blinking and fan will be running during this
time as it runs at an extremely high temperature! WARNING – RISK OF
DAMAGE. DO NOT UNPLUG WHILE THE RED LIGHT IS BLINKING AND THE FAN
IS RUNNING.
– Remove the screws and then remove the back cover of the projector to
access the light bulb.
– Make sure the bulb has cooled down. With a dry cloth, remove the
existing bulb.
– Put in the new bulb, using a clean dry cloth. DO NOT touch new bulb
with ngers as oil from your hands may damage bulb. Make sure it is well
connected to the socket.
– Use a standard 60Watt, 12V, MR-16 halogen light bulb.
– Make sure bulb is securely screwed in otherwise the projector will not
turn on or may cause electronic shock.
To Clean
Unplug the projector and allow it to cool before cleaning. Spot clean only with a soft
dry cloth. Never allow water or any other liquids to come into contact with the unit.
Do not immerse in any liquid to clean
Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass/furniture polish
or paint thinner to clean.
Do not attempt to repair the Projector. There are no user serviceable parts. For ser-
vice, send the projector to the Sharper Image address listed in the warranty section.
To Store
Place the projector in its box or in a safe, dry, cool place. To avoid breakage, do not
wrap the power cord around the unit. Do not hang the projector by the power cord.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a
Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are de-
signed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential
installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy
and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause
harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that
interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause
harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by
turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the inter-
ference by one or more of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which
the receiver is connected
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help
4) Trouble Shooting
If there are no images or sound –
• Double check that the power and source connections are secured.
• Make sure the projector is turned on and volume is turned up.
• Try unplugging the power for 30 seconds, then reconnect and restart the
projector again.
• If there is still no image, check and replace the light bulb. (See maintenance)
If the image is not sharp –
• Adjust the manual lens focus. Do this with a still projected image.
• Make sure the projection distance and size and correct.
• Double check that the incoming signal from connector is good.
• Go to the set-up mode to adjust contrast and color if needed.
• Check and clean the lens if needed.
If the image is not in the correct shape (Rectangular) –
• Check that the video source is plugged in correctly.
• Make sure the projector is perpendicularly projecting to the wall or screen.
• Make sure the projector is placed on a rigid & at surface, not a soft and (or)
sloped surface

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
SI PRODUCTS sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and
workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase, except as noted below.
SI PRODUCTS warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship under
normal use and service. This warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Retailers.
To obtain warranty service on your SI PRODUCTS product, mail the product and your dated sales receipt
(as proof of purchase), postpaid, to the following address:

SI PRODUCTS does not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to, Retailers, the subsequent

way beyond the terms set forth herein. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse;
accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation;
unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; loss of power; dropped
product; malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer’s recommended
maintenance; transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use
during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other
conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of SI PRODUCTS.
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the
product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate in any
other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or
repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty.
THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE
SHALL BE NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OR ANY OTHER OBLIGATION ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY WITH
RESPECT TO PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. SI PRODUCTS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR
ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THIS WARRANTY
REQUIRE MORE THAN THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY PART OR PARTS WHICH ARE FOUND TO BE
DEFECTIVE WITHIN THE EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF THE WARRANTY.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. IF REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR DEFECTIVE MATERIALS ARE NOT AVAILABLE,
SI PRODUCTS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS IN LIEU
OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT.
This warranty does not extend to the purchase of opened, used, repaired, repackaged and/or resealed
products, including but not limited to sale of such products on Internet auction sites and/or sales of such
products by surplus or bulk resellers. Any and all warranties or guarantees shall immediately cease and
terminate as to any products or parts thereof which are repaired, replaced, altered, or modified, without
the prior express and written consent of SI PRODUCTS.

Proyector de medios - Instrucciones de uso
1) Configuración e instalación
Retire cuidadosamente el proyector de la caja. Asegúrese de que ha retirado todas las piezas
del paquete. Asegúrese de leer bien el manual de instrucciones antes de comenzar con la
conguración del proyector.
• Coloque el proyector sobre una supercie plana a una distancia máxima de 1,8 m
(6 pies o 72 pulg.) de la supercie sobre la cual desea proyectar.
• El proyector puede proyectarse sobre una pantalla, una pared de color claro o un techo
usando el soporte que se proporciona.
• Enchufe el proyector a un tomacorriente y verique para estar seguro de que el enchufe
está conectado correctamente. PRECAUCIÓN: los enchufes de conexión sueltos
pueden provocar CHOQUE ELÉCTRICO.
• Conecte el proyector a la fuente usando los cables que se proporcionan.
(rojo y blanco para sonido, amarillo para video).
NOTA: para una mejor calidad de sonido, conecte los cables de audio
(rojo y blanco) a un sistema de sonido externo.
• Una vez que se encienda el proyector, el ventilador y la lámpara comenzarán a funcionar.

2) Funcionamiento
PRECAUCIÓN: para reducir el riesgo de choque eléctrico, este artefacto está equipado
con un enchufe polarizado (una paleta es más ancha que la otra). Este enchufe encaja de
una sola forma en un tomacorriente polarizado. Si el enchufe no encaja completamente
en el tomacorriente, invierta el enchufe. Si aún así no encaja, póngase en contacto con un
electricista calicado para que instale el tomacorriente adecuado. No modique el enchufe de
ninguna forma.
• Enchufe el proyector al tomacorriente.
• Presione el botón de encendido ("POWER") ubicado en la parte superior del proyector
para encenderlo.
• Ajuste el soporte para asegurar que la imagen se proyecte de forma pareja sobre la
supercie de proyección.
• Ajuste el foco girando el armazón protector del lente hacia la derecha o hacia la izquierda
hasta obtener una imagen nítida.
• Ajuste el contraste con el botón de control del contraste ubicado en la parte superior del
proyector.
• Ajuste la saturación del color con el botón de control del color ubicado en la parte
superior del proyector.
• Ahora puede disfrutar de sus DVD y videojuegos favoritos.
• Controle el volumen con el botón de control del volumen ubicado en la parte superior del
proyector.
• También puede usar el control remoto para controlar el volumen, el contraste y el color.
ADVERTENCIA: apague el botón de energía principal de la unidad cuando no la esté usando.

3) Mantenimiento
• Para limpiar el lente, primero sople las partículas de polvo con aire limpio y seco para
evitar rayar la supercie del lente.
• No use ningún tipo de líquido o limpiador sobre la supercie del lente ya que pueden
dañar el revestimiento del lente.
• Para reemplazar la bombilla, siga todos los pasos mencionados a continuación
por completo:
– Apague el proyector, NO lo desenchufe, y permita que se enfríe durante 30 minutos;
la luz roja estará parpadeando y el ventilador estará funcionado durante este tiempo
¡ya que funciona a una temperatura extremadamente alta! ADVERTENCIA – RIESGO DE
DAÑO. NO LO DESENCHUFE MIENTRAS LA LUZ ROJA ESTÉ PARPADEANDO Y EL VENTILADOR
ESTÉ FUNCIONANDO.
– Quite los tornillos y luego retire la cubierta posterior del proyector para acceder a la
bombilla.
– Asegúrese de que la bombilla se ha enfriado. Con un paño seco, retire la bombilla
existente.
– Coloque la nueva bombilla, utilizando un paño seco. NO toque la bombilla nueva con
los dedos ya que la oleosidad de sus manos puede dañar la bombilla. Asegúrese de
que esté bien conectada al portalámparas.
– Use una bombilla halógena MR-16 estándar de 60 Vatios y 12 V.
– Asegúrese de que la bombilla esté atornillada de forma segura de lo contrario el
proyector no se encenderá o podrá provocar choque eléctrico.
Para limpiar
Desenchufe el proyector y deje que se enfríe antes de limpiarlo. Limpie únicamente con
un paño suave y seco. Nunca permita que el agua ni otro líquido entre en contacto con
la unidad.
No sumerja la unidad en ningún líquido para limpiarla.
Nunca utilice limpiadores abrasivos, cepillos, gasolina, querosén, limpiador de vidrios o
lustramuebles ni diluyente de pintura para limpiar.
No intente reparar el proyector. No hay piezas que necesiten servicio por parte del usuario.
Por servicio, envíe el proyector a la dirección de The Sharper Image que se detalla en la
sección de garantía.
Para guardar
Coloque el proyector en su caja o en un lugar seguro, seco y fresco. Para evitar roturas,
no envuelva el cable de corriente alrededor de la unidad. No cuelgue el proyector del cable
de corriente.
Nota: este equipo ha sido probado y se ha observado que cumple con los límites para un
dispositivo de Clase B, conforme a la parte 15 de las reglas de la FCC. Estos límites están
diseñados para proporcionar una protección razonable contra la interferencia nociva en una
instalación residencial. Este equipo genera, utiliza y puede irradiar energía de frecuencia de radio
y, si no se instala y se utiliza siguiendo las instrucciones, puede causar interferencia nociva en las
comunicaciones de radio. Sin embargo, no hay garantías de que no se producirá interferencia
en una instalación en particular. Si este equipo causa interferencia nociva en la recepción de
radio o televisión, que puede detectarse encendiendo y apagando el equipo, aconsejamos al
usuario que intente corregir la interferencia tomando una o más de las siguientes medidas:
• Vuelva a orientar o a ubicar la antena de recepción.
• Aumente la separación entre el equipo y el receptor.
• Conecte el equipo en un tomacorriente a otro circuito donde no esté conectado
el receptor.
• Consulte con el distribuidor o con un técnico experto en radio/televisión para
obtener ayuda.
4) Diagnóstico y resolución de problemas
Si no hay imagen ni sonido –
• Vuelva a vericar que las conexiones de energía y con la fuente estén aseguradas.
• Asegúrese de que el proyector esté encendido y que el volumen esté alto.
• Intente desenchufar la corriente durante 30 segundos, luego vuelva a conectarlo
y reinicie el proyector nuevamente.
• Si aún no hay imagen, controle y remplace la bombilla. (Vea mantenimiento)
Si la imagen no es nítida –
• Ajuste el foco manual del lente. Haga esto con una imagen ja proyectada.
• Asegúrese de que la distancia y el tamaño de proyección son correctos.
• Vuelva a vericar que la señal entrante del conector es buena.
• Vaya al modo de conguración para ajustar el contraste y el color si es necesario.
• Controle y limpie el lente si es necesario.
Si la imagen no tiene la forma correcta (rectangular) –
• Verique que la fuente de video esté conectada correctamente.
• Asegúrese de que el proyector esté proyectando perpendicularmente a la pared
o la pantalla.
• Asegúrese de que el proyector esté colocado sobre una supercie rígida y plana,
no sobre una supercie blanda e (o) inclinada.
