1.1 Product Intro
GH008 is a data storage device with fingerprint identification，which is designed to meet the security needs of high-end customers. The product
has the characteristics of data security, fast transmission and convenient operation. The data storage part of GH008 is divided into "Public Area" and
"Private Area". The "Public Area" is consistent with other general storage devices. "Private Area" encrypts all files stored in the Zone through the AES
Encryption Engine. Private Area is normally hidden and can only be displayed after the user has passed fingerprint verification.

2.1：Operation instruction
Insert GH008 into USB port on your computer, which will be recognized automatically. Click BD-ROM in the window of MY COMPUTER, then
double click document GH008 and run
*May security software will forbid the operation when we running software. Please set to allow the running.

2.2 Intro of GH008 software
Open BD-ROM, Running GH008 and start page of log in, and enter initial password (16 PCS “zero”), then click log in；
2.2-1 Add fingerprint
1：Click add fingerprint button, enroll the new fingerprint, start the page of log in, and you will see blue light flashes；
*Private Area is hidden before the fingerprint is entered
2：Press your finger on fingerprint sensor, re-enroll fingerprint according to instruction of enrolling process until entry complete.
*Do not enroll more than six fingerprints, avoid re-enroll same fingerprint (same position). Re-enroll same position on same fingerprint will
affect fingerprint accuracy.

2.2-2 Verify fingerprint
1：Click VERIFY FINGERPRINT，WAIT FOR VERIFY will show in red color；
2：Place fingerprint on reader, green light flashes once when verify success. Verified User: xxx will show at the bottom of authentication window；
3：“User does not exit” will show when verification not succeed
2.2-3 Password Management
1：Click “change password”, open the window of password management
2：Enter the old password and new password as indication. Initial password sixteen zeros.
3：Click “ok” after enter the passwords. A popup window will appear automatically and indicate “setting password successfully, and returns
to page of Log in.
*Administrator’s account has highest level authority, keep password carefully
2.2-4 Flash Drive Management
1：Click DISC MANAGEMENT, enter the managing page
2：Click UNLOCK, user can decrypt private partition after entering password
3：Click LOCK, user can encrypt private partition without entering password
4：Click RESET, user can initialize the drive. All data will be cancelled after initialization.
5：Scroll the slider to adjust the capacity of Public and private partition, Then click ADJUST. A popup will eject and show “ adjust partition will
format whole drive (including private partition), please backup your documents)”. Confirm and click OK to start formatting. BUSY in red color
flashes to indicate formatting in process, please wait to complete
6：Partition complete, eject and re-attach the drive to computer
* Do not set any partition as 0
*Re-allocate the capacity will cancel all data in your drive, please use with caution.

2.2-5 Fingerprint Unlocking
1：Before use fingerprint authentication, please confirm enrol fingerprint successfully by management application
2：Touch fingerprint reader gently with finger of which fingerprint has been authenticated, can open private partition
3：Private partition will be closed automatically without operation in 15 minutes. Re-open will need to verify fingerprint
*. Before unlock fingerprint, user must close fingerprint management application
* When pen private partition successfully, yellow indicator will change to green steady, then resume to yellow
* Enrol, cancel, verify, re-name fingerprint, and unlock/lock, these operation are not read/write operation. Private partition will close in 15 minutes
when only running these operations.
3 Q&A
1: Why fingerprint unlocking can't work?
Please confirm whether the fingerprint management software has been closed. As GH008.exe has been closed, please ensure good contact
with fingers after cleansing finger fingerprint induction Area, such as light please try to pull out plug after no change.
2: Why is Private Area automatically formatted and password restored to factory Settings?
The system will automatically destroy the data and fingerprint information of the Private Area when 10 consecutive password authentication
errors occur.
3: Why does the Private Area display RAW after factory Settings are restored?
After the factory Settings are restored, the Private Area will automatically enter the format. During this process, please do not pull out the USB
flash drive, otherwise the Private Area will become RAW format. Please format the Private Area manually to restore it to normal.
4: Why do files larger than 4G cannot be saved in the flash drive?
The initial format of GH008 is Fat32, you need to format it into exFat when transmitting files larger than 4GB.
5: What are the compatible systems for BD-ROM?
BD-ROM is currently only applicable to Windows 7 and above operating systems, not Mac and Linux systems.
