１ Product Overview
The particle size separator uses the inertial impaction method to differentiate particle sizes into large and small size and sampl
e
them. Large particle size is sampled on a filter with slits and small size particle are sampled on a backup filter. This particle siz
e
separator is attached to SIBATA High Volume Air Sampler, Model HV-500F and HV-500R which used φ110mm round filter.

３ Assembling of particle Size Separator
Set the filter with slit between the base unit and separator and tighten a nut with knurling after put in a washer.

７ Warranty and Repair
This product shall be repaired free-of-charge should it
malfunction within one year of purchase. When asking for
repair, be sure to directly contact the dealer of purchase.
Consumables provided with this product fall outside of th
e
scope of this Warranty. Repair of the product itself als
o
shall fall outside of the scope of this Warranty if any of
the following causes it to malfunction:
 Faults or damage resulting from incorrect use
 Faults or damage resulting from repairs or
modifications implemented by parties other than Sibata
 Faults or damage resulting from fires or natural
disasters, such as earthquakes
 Faults or damage occurring after purchase due to
relocation, movement, falling, or vibration
 Faults or damage resulting from the use of consumabl
e
items not specified by Sibata
 『Do not disassemble the product』The warranty will
be voided if the product is disassembled or
reconstructed in any way. It may cause damage and
expose you to unnecessary risks.

First, set a φ110mm filter on a Clip ring, then set a PTFE packing and a Particle size separator (a filter with slit is
attached) on the Clip ring. Finally, set the Particle size separator on an N type adaptor, and hold (screw to fix) it
with a Clip holder.
