■About This Product
This product magnetically stirs liquids. The built-in magnet rotates the stir
bar put in a container with liquid. It provides a wide range of rotation
speeds so it can stir liquid at a low or high speed.

■Precautions (Be Sure to Read This)
zInstall this product horizontally at a stable location.
zUse a container whose size is suitable for this product.
zThis product is not explosion-proofed, so do not use it in the vicinity of
combustible or flammable substances. Also, do not spill chemicals or
anything similar on the product.
zDo not subject the product to impacts.
z[Modifications and Repairs Are Prohibited] Never disassemble or
modify this product, as doing so will void the warranty with SIBATA.
Doing so may also result in an unforeseen fault or accident.
zIf a fault occurs, request repairs immediately. Never leave the fault as is
or attempt your own repairs, as subsequent use may result in an
unforeseen accident.
zIf the product becomes dirty, wipe away the dirt with a soft cloth (soaked
in detergent if there is significant dirt).
zIf the product emits smoke, or makes a strange noise, stop using it
immediately. Turn OFF the power switch, remove the power plug from
the power outlet, and request repairs.
zRemove the power plug from the power outlet when not using the
product for long periods.
zWhen removing the power plug from the outlet, hold the cord by the
power plug to avoid pulling on the power cord. Be sure your hands
are dry before handling the power cord. Otherwise, there is a risk of
electric shock.
zDo not bend, stretch, or twist the cord. Do not connect it to a different cord.
zIf you notice that the cord has become damaged or broken or that the plug
does not connect properly, stop using it immediately and request repairs.

●Important
zUse the stir bar provided with this product.
zBe sure to use the rubber sheet for the MAGNESTIR when stirring
liquids.
zWhen using the product at a low speed, increase the rotation speed
and then set it to a low speed.
zThe rotation speed differs according to the shape of the container,
liquid amount, size of the stir bar, voltage variation, etc. Adjust these
conditions when the rotation speed is too high or if the stir bar
detaches.
zTurning ON and OFF the heater of other electric products may cause
fluctuations in the power voltage, causing the product to stop during
rotation at a low speed. In this case, supply power from a different
system.
Do not spill chemicals or
anything similar on the product.
Do not disassemble or modify
the product.
Use a container of an adequate
size.
Do not touch the product with
wet hands.

■Trimmer Adjustment
This product has been adjusted for 50 Hz
rating before shipment. If you use the
product as is in a 60 Hz area, it may not
operate when low rotation speeds are set.
When using the product in a 60 Hz area,
adjust the trimmer at the bottom of the
product to enable appropriate control.
Adjust the trimmer in case of any problems,
for example turning the rotation adjustment
knob does not start the stirring operation.
For adjustment, use a slotted screwdriver
that is suitable for the size of the groove.

■Usage
(1) Place the MAGNESTIR on a level, stable surface.
(2) Turn the power switch OFF and
turn the rotation adjustment knob
counterclockwise to the end.
(3) Insert the power plug into a 100 V AC outlet.

(4) Place the rubber sheet for the MAGNESTIR aligning it with the ring
mark on the top plate. (The ribbed surface should face up.)
(5) Put the stir bar in the container of the liquid to stir and place the
container in the center of the rubber sheet for the MAGNESTIR.
(6) Turn the power switch ON.
(The pilot lamp illuminates.)
Turn the rotation adjustment
knob clockwise to start
stirring. Keep turning the
knob clockwise in order to
increase the rotation speed.
(7) When the liquid has been stirred, turn the rotation adjustment knob
counterclockwise to the end and turn the power switch OFF.
When you do not plan to use the product for a long time, be sure to
unplug the power plug from the outlet.

■Troubleshooting
If a problem occurs during use, check the items listed below first.

Rotation does not start
even after turning the
