You can change the spin speed and temperature beforehand and while the selected
programme is running. Effects dependen t on the programme progress.
°C (Temperature)
You can change the indic ated washing temperature. The maximum washing temperature
which can be selected depen ds on the selected programme.
c(Spin speed, revolut ions per minute)/ ; (Rinse hold = with out final drain/
spin)
You can change the indicated spin s peed or select ;(Rinse hold = without the final drain/
spin cycle, the laundry remains in th e water after the last rinse cycle, display panel - - - -). The
selectable maximum spin speed depends on the model and the selected programme.
(Finish-in)
The respective programme duration is d isplayed by selecting the programme.
The programme start can be delayed before the programme beg ins. The Finish-in time can
be set in hour steps up to maximum 24h. Press and hold the (Finish-in) button until the
required number of hours is indicated (h=hour). Press the Start/Reload button.

If this is the case, deactivate the childproof lock befor e the
programme starts and, if re quired, re-activate after the program me
starts.

Safety instructions
– Read and follow the operating and installation instructions and all other information
enclosed with the washing machine.
– Retain documents for subseq uent use.
Risk of electric shock – Never pull out the mains plug by tugging on the p ower cord!
– Only insert/pull o ut the mains plug with d ry hands.
Danger to life On redundant appliances:
– Pull out the mains plug.
– Sever the power cord and discard together with the plug.
– Destroy the lock on the washing-machine door. This will prevent
children from locking themselves in an d putting their lives at risk.
Risk of suffocation – K eep packaging, plastic film and packaging parts o ut of the reach
of children.
Risk of poisoning – Keep d etergents and care products ou t of the reach of children .
Risk of explosion – Caused by detergents containin g solvents, e.g. stain remover/
items of laundry pretreated with solven t naphtha may result in an

Important information
Before using your washing machin e for the first tim e
Do not put any laundry in the washing machine! Tu rn the tap on.
Pour into dispenser II:
– approx. 1 litre of water
– Detergent (dosage accor di ng to manufacturer’s instructions for light soiling an d according
to degree of water hardness).
Set the programm e selector to āDrum Clean 90°C and select Start/Reload.
At the end of the programme, se t the programme selector to Off.
Protecting the laundr y and the machine
– When dosing all detergents, cleaning a ids and cleaning agents, always follow the
manufacturer's instructions.
– Empty any pockets.
– Remove metal objects (paper clips, etc.).
– Wash delicates in the net/bag (tights , curtains, underwired bras).
– Close zips, button up cove rs.
– Brush sand out of pockets and collars.
– Remove curtain fittings or include in the net/bag.
Load the laundr y
Load large and small item s of laundry!
Do not jam items of laundry betwee n the washing machine door and rubber s eal.
Laundry with diffe rent degrees of soilin g
Wash new items separately.
Light Do not prewash. If required, select the speedP erfect option.
If required, pretrea t stains and. If required, select the o+Prewa sh
programme.
Heavy Load less laundry. Select the o+Prewash programme .
Soaking Load laundry o f the same colour.
Pour soaking agent/ detergent into dispenser II according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Set the programme selector to ÊCottons 30 °C and select Start/Relo ad. After approx.
10 minutes, pr ess Start/Reload to stop the programme . After the required soaking tim e,
re-press Start/Reload if the pro gramme is to be continued, or chang e the programme.
Starching Laundry should not be treated with fabric softener.
Liquid starch can be used with all washing programmes. Pou r starch into the fabric softener
dispenser ~according to manufactur er’s instructions (if required clean beforehand).
Dyeing/bleaching
Dye in small quantities only. Salt may attack stainless steel. Follow the instructions of the dye
manufacturer. Do not bleach laundry in the washing machine!

1. Pull out, press the insert d own, remove the drawer completely.
2. Remove the insert: using your fin ger, press the insert upwards.
3. Clean detergent dispenser and inser t using water and a brush and dry
them.
4. Fit insert and lock it in place (pus h the cylinder onto gu ide pin).
5. Insert the detergent drawe r.
Leave detergent drawer ope n so that residual water can evaporate.
ʑDrum
Leave washing machine door open so that the drum can dry out.
Rust stains – use chlorine–fre e cleaning agent, not steel wo ol.
ʑDescaling No laundry in t he machine!
Not required if detergent dosed correctly. Howe ver, if this does occur, follow the instructions
of the descaling agen t manufacturer. Suitable descalers can be purchased o n our website

Maintenance
Drain pump blocked
Set the programm e selector to Off, pull out the mains plug.
1. Open the service flap.
2. Take the drainage hose out o f the holder.
3. Remove sealing cap, allow th e detergent solution to flow out. Have a
suitable container ready.
Insert the sealing cap and place the drainage hose back in its holder.
4. Carefully unscrew the pu mp cover (Caution! residual w ater).
Clean the interior, the pump cover thread a nd the pump housing (the fan
impeller in the detergent-solution pump must rotate).
5. Reinsert and screw on the pu mp cover. Handle should be vertical.
6. Close the service flap.
To prevent unused detergent from flowing into the ou tlet during the next
wash: Pour 1 litr e ofw ater into dispenser II and start the Spin/Empty lprogramme.
Drainage hose on th e siphon blocked
Set the programm e selector to Off, pull out the mains plug.
1. Loosen hose clip, carefully rem ove drainage hose (Caution! residual
water).
2. Clean the drainage hose and siphon spigot.
3. Re-attach drainage hose and secure connection point with hose clip.
Filter in the water inl et hose blocked
Risk of electric shock.
Do not immerse the Aqua- Stop safety device in water (contains an electric valve).
Release the water pressure i n the supply hose:
1. Turn off the tap.
2. Select any pr ogramme (except mRinse/Spin/Empty l).
3. Press the Start/Reload b utton. Leave programme running for
approx. 40 seconds.
4. Set the prog ramme selector to Off. Pul l out the mains plug.
Clean the filter:
5. Disconnect the hose from th e water tap.
Clean the filter with a small brush.
and/or for standard and Aqua-Secu re models:
remove the hose from the rear of th e appliance.
Take out the filter with plie rs and clean.
6. Connect the hose an d check for leaks.

Emergency release e.g. if power fa ilure occurs
The programme continues running when the power supply is restored. If the laundry is still to
be removed, the door can be opened as described below:
Risk of scalding.
The detergent solution and laundry may be hot. If requir ed, le ave to cool
down.
Do not reach into the drum in case it is still rotating.
Do not open the door if you can stil l see water through the glass.

3. Pull down the emergency release with a to ol and release.
The door can then be opened.

You can change the spin speed and temperature beforehand and while the selected
programme is running. Effects dependent on the programme progress.

You can change the indicated washing temperature. The maximum washing temperature
which can be selected depends on the selected programme.

You can change the indicated spin speed or select ;(Rinse hold = without the final drain/
spin cycle, the laundry remains in the water after the last rinse cycle, display panel - - - -). The
selectable maximum spin speed depends on the model and the selected programme.

The respective programme duration is displayed by selecting the programme.
The programme start can be delayed before the programme begins. The Finish-in time can
be set in hour steps up to maximum 24h. Press and hold the (Finish-in) button until the
required number of hours is indicated (h=hour). Press the Start/Reload button.

Safety instructions
– Read and follow the operating and installation instructions and all other information
enclosed with the washing machine.
– Retain documents for subsequent use.
Risk of electric shock – Never pull out the mains plug by tugging on the power cord!
– Only insert/pull out the mains plug with dry hands.
Danger to life On redundant appliances:
– Pull out the mains plug.
– Sever the power cord and discard together with the plug.
– Destroy the lock on the washing-machine door. This will prevent
children from locking themselves in and putting their lives at risk.

Important information
Before using your washing machine for the first time
Do not put any laundry in the washing machine! Turn the tap on.
Pour into dispenser II:
– approx. 1 litre of water
– Detergent (dosage according to manufacturer’s instructions for light soiling and according
to degree of water hardness).
Set the programme selector to āDrum Clean 90°C and select Start/Reload.
At the end of the programme, set the programme selector to Off.
Protecting the laundry and the machine
– When dosing all detergents, cleaning aids and cleaning agents, always follow the
manufacturer's instructions.
– Empty any pockets.
– Remove metal objects (paper clips, etc.).
– Wash delicates in the net/bag (tights, curtains, underwired bras).
– Close zips, button up covers.
– Brush sand out of pockets and collars.
– Remove curtain fittings or include in the net/bag.
Load the laundry
Load large and small items of laundry!
Do not jam items of laundry between the washing machine door and rubber seal.
Laundry with different degrees of soiling
Wash new items separately.
Light Do not prewash. If required, select the speedPerfect option.
If required, pretreat stains and. If required, select the o+Prewash
programme.
Heavy Load less laundry. Select the o+Prewash programme.
Soaking Load laundry of the same colour.
Pour soaking agent/detergent into dispenser II according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Set the programme selector to ÊCottons 30 °C and select Start/Reload. After approx.
10 minutes, press Start/Reload to stop the programme. After the required soaking time,
re-press Start/Reload if the programme is to be continued, or change the programme.
Starching Laundry should not be treated with fabric softener.
Liquid starch can be used with all washing programmes. Pour starch into the fabric softener
dispenser ~according to manufacturer’s instructions (if required clean beforehand).
Dyeing/bleaching
Dye in small quantities only. Salt may attack stainless steel. Follow the instructions of the dye
manufacturer. Do not bleach laundry in the washing machine!

Leave detergent drawer open so that residual water can evaporate.

Leave washing machine door open so that the drum can dry out.
Rust stains – use chlorine–free cleaning agent, not steel wool.

Maintenance
Drain pump blocked
Set the programme selector to Off, pull out the mains plug.
1. Open the service flap.
2. Take the drainage hose out of the holder.
3. Remove sealing cap, allow the detergent solution to flow out. Have a
suitable container ready.
Insert the sealing cap and place the drainage hose back in its holder.
4. Carefully unscrew the pump cover (Caution! residual water).
Clean the interior, the pump cover thread and the pump housing (the fan
impeller in the detergent-solution pump must rotate).
5. Reinsert and screw on the pump cover. Handle should be vertical.
6. Close the service flap.
To prevent unused detergent from flowing into the outlet during the next
wash: Pour 1 litre of water into dispenser II and start the Spin/Empty lprogramme.
Drainage hose on the siphon blocked
Set the programme selector to Off, pull out the mains plug.
1. Loosen hose clip, carefully remove drainage hose (Caution! residual
water).
2. Clean the drainage hose and siphon spigot.
3. Re-attach drainage hose and secure connection point with hose clip.
Filter in the water inlet hose blocked
Risk of electric shock.
Do not immerse the Aqua-Stop safety device in water (contains an electric valve).
Release the water pressure in the supply hose:
1. Turn off the tap.
2. Select any programme (except mRinse/Spin/Empty l).
3. Press the Start/Reload button. Leave programme running for
approx. 40 seconds.
4. Set the programme selector to Off. Pull out the mains plug.
Clean the filter:
5. Disconnect the hose from the water tap.
Clean the filter with a small brush.
and/or for standard and Aqua-Secure models:
remove the hose from the rear of the appliance.
Take out the filter with pliers and clean.
6. Connect the hose and check for leaks.

ʑDetergent residue on the
laundry.
– Occasionally phosphate-free detergents contain water-insoluble
residue.
– Select mRinse or brush the laundry after washing.
If a fault cannot be rectified (switching the machine on and off) or a repair is required:
– Set the programme selector to Off and pull out the mains plug.
– Turn off the tap and call customer service. aInstallation instructions
Emergency release e.g. if power failure occurs
The programme continues running when the power supply is restored. If the laundry is still to
be removed, the door can be opened as described below:
Risk of scalding.
The detergent solution and laundry may be hot. If required, leave to cool
down.
Do not reach into the drum in case it is still rotating.
Do not open the door if you can still see water through the glass.
1. Set the programme selector to Off, pull out the mains plug.
2. Drain the detergent solution. aPage 11
3. Pull down the emergency release with a tool and release.
The door can then be opened.
