–For improved stability, remove the blender
lid rby turning it anticlockwise until it
disengages from the catch on the blender t
and then pull it upwards and off.
–Turn the appliance upside down and turn
the blade holder Aanticlockwise as far as
the stop using the two handles supplied for
this purpose. Now pull the blade holder A
directly upwards and out.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Always handle the blades zcarefully.
They are very sharp.
–Pull the sealing ring Bfrom the blade
holder A.
■ Now you can clean all the parts (blender jug C,
blade holder Athe blade zand sealing ring B)
in warm water with a little washing up liquid
using a washing up brush. Afterwards, rinse all
the parts with clean water so that no detergent
residues remain.
NOTE
► The blender jug Cand the measuring cup e
are dishwasher-safe.
If you clean components in the dishwasher,
please ensure that no plastic parts can get
jammed or caught anywhere. This may cause
them to become deformed. We recommend
using the top rack of the dishwasher and a
washing programme with max. 45°C.
■ After cleaning, reassemble the blender:
–Push the sealing ring Bback into the recess
on the blade holder Awith the blade z.
–Place the blade holder Awith the blade z
back into the blender jug Cso that the
blade zprotrudes into the blender jug C.
Note the corresponding slots on the blender
jug C.
–Turn the blade holder A clockwise as far
as possible so that the blade holder Asits
firmly on the blender jug Cagain.
–Press the blender lid rwith the measuring
cup e slightly offset firmly back onto the
blender t. Close the blender lid rby
turning it clockwise as far as the stop back
into the catch on the blender t. Ensure
that the pouring spout on the blender tis
closed.
In most cases, you can achieve sufficiently hygienic
cleaning of the blender timmediately after use in
the following way:
1) Put some water containing a little detergent
into the fully assembled blender t.
2) Press the blender lid rwith the measuring cup e
slightly offset firmly onto the blender t.
Close the blender lid rby turning it clockwise
as far as the stop back into the catch on the
blender t. Ensure that the pouring spout on
the blender tis closed.
3) Switch on the blender tfor a few seconds.
4) Pour out the washing water. Any residues can
be removed with a washing-up brush.
5) Then rinse out the blender twith plenty of
clean water so that all detergent residues are
removed.
Storage
■ Store the cleaned appliance in a clean, dust-free
and dry location.
Troubleshooting
If the appliance suddenly stops working:
■ The appliance has overheated and triggered the
automatic safety cut-out.
–Turn the rotary switch 3to 0.
–Remove the plug from the wall socket.
–Allow the appliance to cool for 15 minutes.
–If the appliance has not yet cooled off com-
pletely after 15 minutes, it will not start.
–Wait a further 15 minutes and try switching
on again.
