The instructions for use are part of the product.
They contain important information concerning
safety, use and disposal. Before using the product,
please familiarise yourself with all of the safety
information and instructions for use. Only use
the product as described and for the specified
applications. If you pass the product on to anyone
else, please ensure that you also pass on all the
documentation with it.
Intended use
This smart motion sensor (hereinafter called
“product”) is an Information Technology device.
This product is used for indoor surveillance. The
product registers temperature changes in the
detection area caused by humans or animals.
The registered movements are displayed on your
mobile device.

Never leave children unsupervised with the
packaging material. The packaging material
poses a suffocation hazard. Children frequently
underestimate the dangers.

This product can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the product
in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
Children shall not play with the product.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.
mATTENTION!
Risk of property damage
This product does not contain any parts which
can be serviced by the user.
Keep the product away from moisture, dripping
and splashing water!
Do not place burning candles or other open
fire on or next to the product.
Sudden temperature changes may cause
condensation inside the product.

In this case, allow the product to acclimate for
some time before using it again to prevent short
circuits!
Do not operate the product near heat sources,
e.g. radiators or other devices emitting heat!
mDANGER!
It is necessary to repair the product if it has
been damaged in any way, for example, if the
housing is damaged, if liquid or objects have
penetrated the product or if the product has
been exposed to rain or moisture. Repair work
is also required if the product is not working
properly or has been dropped.
In such cases, the product should not be used
until it has been inspected by authorised
service personnel.
Only have the product repaired by qualified
personnel. Never open the housing of the
product.
Safety instructions for batteries /
rechargeable batteries
mDANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries /
rechargeable batteries out of reach of children.
If accidentally swallowed seek immediate
medical attention.
Swallowing may lead to burns, perforation of
soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur
within 2 hours of ingestion.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never
recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do
not short-circuit batteries / rechargeable
batteries and / or open them. Overheating, fire or
bursting can be the result.
Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries
into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries /
rechargeable batteries.
Risk of leakage of batteries /
rechargeable batteries
Avoid extreme environmental conditions and
temperatures, which could affect batteries /
rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct
sunlight.
If batteries / rechargeable batteries have
leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and
mucous membranes with the chemicals!
Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh
water and seek medical attention!
WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked
or damaged batteries / rechargeable
batteries can cause burns on contact with
the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times
if such an event occurs.
In the event of a leakage of batteries /
rechargeable batteries, immediately remove
them from the product to prevent damage.
Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries
if the product will not be used for a longer
period.
Risk of damage of the product
Only use the specified type of battery /
rechargeable battery!
Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries
according to polarity marks (+) and (–) on
the battery / rechargeable battery and the
product.
Use a dry lint-free cloth or cotton swab
to clean the contacts on the battery /
rechargeable battery and in the battery
compartment before inserting!
Remove exhausted batteries / rechargeable
batteries from the product immediately.

Install the product at a height of 2.1 m above
the floor. The product detects movements within
a radius of 10 m (detection angle: 90° from
the centre of the sensor) (fig. B).
Avoid following situations and environments:
– Rooms in which pets often trigger the motion
alarm unnecessarily
– Air-conditioning
– Heat sources
– Direct sunlight
– Fans/rotating objects
– Vibrations

Do not drill into any pipes or mains cables
beneath the mounting surface. Use a voltage/
metal detector.
NOTES:
Mark the position of the 2 drill holes on the
wall through the screw holes [] of the wall
bracket [] (fig. C ).
Drill the 2 holes.
Insert the dowels [2] into the drill holes and
attach the wall bracket using the screws [1]
(fig. C ).
If you want to stick the product on a smooth
surface, remove the protective foil from the
adhesive tape on the back of the wall bracket
[] (fig. C ).
The arrow on the wall bracket must point
upwards (fig. C ).
The tampering alarm is deactivated as long as
the product is sitting in its wall bracket [].
If the product is removed from the wall bracket
[], the tamper alarm button [8] is triggered.

Pairing product and mobile
device
NOTES:
Screenshots are from the iOS 13.3 app version
(if not otherwise marked). Older iOS versions
may have functional limitations.
The Android version of the app follows the
same principles as the iOS version; you might
encounter discrepancies between the two
platforms, such as slightly different on-screen
commands or icons.
Updating the firmware might result in changes
to the app’s functionality.

Preparation
Install Lidl Home app and setup Gateway
( Gateway instruction manual).

1. Pull protective strip [9] out of battery
compartment [7] (fig. D).
If already mounted: Remove product from wall
bracket [].
2. Wait until flashing red LED [5] goes off after a
warm-up phase of approx. 30 s.
3. After the warm-up phase has ended, the
product switches to test mode. If the movement
of a human body is detected in test mode,
a notification will be sent to the user as a
reminder. After 20 minutes, the product
automatically switches to power saving mode.
NOTES:
If the movement of a human body is detected
in power saving mode, a notification will be
sent to the user as a reminder. If a human body
is permanently moving within the detection
area, this will not be registered as multiple
motions. If no movement has been detected
in the detection area for at least 1 minute, the
product will start again to detect movements of
a human body.
If you want to switch to test mode, remove the
battery from the battery compartment and
reinsert it.

Replacing the battery

Remove the battery compartment cover [].
Remove the battery. Insert a new battery
into the battery compartment [7]. Follow the
polarity indications (+/–) on the battery and in
the battery compartment. Reattach the battery
compartment cover (fig. F).
Cleaning and care
Cleaning
mWARNING! During cleaning or operation,
do not immerse the electrical parts of the
product in water or other liquids. Never hold
the product under running water.
Before cleaning, remove the battery from the
battery compartment [7].
Clean the product and its accessories with a
slightly moistened cloth.
Do not allow any water or other liquids to enter
the product’s interior.
Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning solutions
or hard brushes for cleaning.
Let all parts dry afterwards.
Storage
When not in use, store the product in its
original packaging.
Store the product in a dry, secure location
away from children.

Disposal
Before passing on, disposing of or returning the
product to the manufacturer, make sure that all
data has been deleted from the product and
the cloud.
To do this, refer to the chapter:
“Additional functions”, menu point:

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable
materials, which you may dispose of at local
recycling facilities.
Observe the marking of the packaging
materials for waste separation, which
are marked with abbreviations (a) and
numbers (b) with following meaning:
1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and
fibreboard / 80–98: composite
materials.
The product and packaging materials are
recyclable, dispose of it separately for
better waste treatment.
The Triman logo is valid in France only.
Contact your local refuse disposal
authority for more details of how to
dispose of your worn-out product.
To help protect the environment, please
dispose of the product properly when it
has reached the end of its useful life and
not in the household waste. Information
on collection points and their opening
hours can be obtained from your local
authority.
Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries
must be recycled in accordance with Directive
2006/66/EC and its amendments. Please return
the batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or the
product to the available collection points.
Environmental damage
through incorrect disposal of
the batteries / rechargeable
batteries!
Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be
disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They
may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to
hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations.
The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as
follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
That is why you should dispose of used batteries /
rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.
