The instructions for use are part of the product.
They contain important information concerning
safety, use and disposal. Before using the product,
please familiarise yourself with all of the safety
information and instructions for use. Only use
the product as described and for the specified
applications. If you pass the product on to anyone
else, please ensure that you also pass on all the
documentation with it.
Intended use
This smart window or door sensor (hereinafter
called “product”) is an Information Technology
device.
This product is used for the surveillance of windows
and doors. The product registers when a window
or door is opened. The product transmits this
information to your mobile device.

Never leave children unsupervised with the
packaging material. The packaging material

or instruction concerning use of the product

mATTENTION!
Risk of property damage
This product does not contain any parts which
can be serviced by the user.
Keep the product away from moisture, dripping
and splashing water!
Do not place burning candles or other open
fire on or next to the product.
Sudden temperature changes may cause
condensation inside the product.
In this case, allow the product to acclimate for
some time before using it again to prevent short
circuits!
Do not operate the product near heat sources,
e.g. radiators or other devices emitting heat!
mDANGER!
It is necessary to repair the product if it has
been damaged in any way, for example, if the
housing is damaged, if liquid or objects have
penetrated the product or if the product has
been exposed to rain or moisture. Repair work
is also required if the product is not working
properly or has been dropped.
In such cases, the product should not be used
until it has been inspected by authorised
service personnel.
Only have the product repaired by qualified
personnel. Never open the housing of the
product.
Safety instructions for batteries /
rechargeable batteries
mDANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries /
rechargeable batteries out of reach of children.
If accidentally swallowed seek immediate
medical attention.
Swallowing may lead to burns, perforation of
soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur
within 2 hours of ingestion.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never
recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do
not short-circuit batteries / rechargeable
batteries and / or open them. Overheating, fire or
bursting can be the result.
Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries
into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries /
rechargeable batteries.
Risk of leakage of batteries /
rechargeable batteries
Avoid extreme environmental conditions and
temperatures, which could affect batteries /
rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct
sunlight.
If batteries / rechargeable batteries have
leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and
mucous membranes with the chemicals!
Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh
water and seek medical attention!

or damaged batteries / rechargeable
batteries can cause burns on contact with
the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times
if such an event occurs.
In the event of a leakage of batteries /

them from the product to prevent damage.
Only use the same type of batteries /
rechargeable batteries.
Do not mix used and new batteries /
rechargeable batteries.
Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries
if the product will not be used for a longer
period.

Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries
according to polarity marks (+) and (–) on
the battery / rechargeable battery and the
product.
Use a dry lint-free cloth or cotton swab
to clean the contacts on the battery /

batteries from the product immediately.

Remove the packaging material. Check if all
parts are complete.
Pairing product and mobile
device
NOTES:
Screenshots are from the iOS 13.3 app version
(if not otherwise marked). Older iOS versions
may have functional limitations.
The Android version of the app follows the
same principles as the iOS version; you might
encounter discrepancies between the two
platforms, such as slightly different on-screen
commands or icons.
Updating the firmware might result in changes
to the app’s functionality.

Preparation
Install Lidl Home app and setup Gateway
( Gateway instruction manual).
1. Pull protective strip [4] out of battery
compartment [7] (fig. D).
2. Open Lidl Home app.
3. { Home } tab:
Tap (add further devices).
4. Select category:
{ Sensors } .
5. Select:
– iOS:
{ Door Window Sensor }
– Android:
{ Door Window Sensor }

6. Select Gateway.
Only necessary, if you have 2 or more
gateways.
7. Tap { Done }
8. Push metal pin [5] into pin hole [9] for 5 s until
green LED [2] flashes quickly (fig. B).
9. Ready for pairing.
10. Tap { Confirm indicator rapidly blink } .
11. Establishing connection.
12. Naming the product:
Tap and enter a name.
13. Tap one of the rooms to set location of product
(selected room is grayed out).
14. Tap { Done } .
15. Pairing completed.
16. Return to home screen:
Tap { < } .

Unpairing product from mobile
device
1. Open Lidl Home app.
2. { Home } tab:
Tap { Door Window Sensor } .
3. Tap (top right).
4. Tap { Remove Device } .
Select:
– { Disconnect }

( “Additional functions”).
5. Tap { Confirm } .
Settings
1. { Home } tab:

Displays:
– The battery level of the product ( ) is
shown in the top left.

A notification is sent when the product is offline
for more than 5 hours.

Add product to a group in order to synchronise
the use of all grouped devices.

Check FAQ related to the product.
9. { Check for Firmware Upgrade } :
Display the ZigBee module’s firmware version
and check for firmware upgrade.
10. { Remove Device } :
Select:

Remove product from the app. Data
remaining the product’s memory.
This operation only resets the product to
offline mode and starts the pairing mode.
If you want to remove all data of the product
and the cloud, read the following point.
– { Disconnect and wipe data }
Reset to factory settings.
This function deletes all data from the
product and in the cloud.
Use this function if you pass on,
dispose of or return the product to the
manufacturer.
Make sure that all data on the product
and in the cloud has been deleted.
Follow the instructions in the app.

Cancel removing the product.

Complete renewed pairing process within 3
minutes after reset.
This function only resets the product to offline
mode and starts the pairing mode. If you
want to remove all data from the product and
the cloud, refer to the chapter “Additional
functions”, { Disconnect and wipe data } .

Slide the sensor [1] off the mounting bracket
[6]. Remove the batteries. Insert new batteries
into the battery compartment [7]. Follow the
polarity indications (+/–) on the batteries
and in the battery compartment. Reattach the
sensor to the mounting bracket (fig. G).

Cleaning and care
Cleaning
mWARNING! During cleaning or operation,
do not immerse the electrical parts of the
product in water or other liquids. Never hold
the product under running water.
Before cleaning, remove the batteries from the
battery compartment [7].
Clean the product and its accessories with a
slightly moistened cloth.
Do not allow any water or other liquids to enter
the product’s interior.
Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning solutions
or hard brushes for cleaning.
Let all parts dry afterwards.
Storage
When not in use, store the product in its
original packaging.
Store the product in a dry, secure location
away from children.
