Oval Headlight Kit

INSTALLATION
1. Models with tube handle bars: Mount the headlight to
the handle bars using the clamp provided.
Models with channel handle bars: Mount the head-
light assembly directly to the handle bars using an
available hole in the channel assembly.
2. Check that the light does not interfere with the opera-
tion of the controls, or control linkage. If it does, relo-
cate it.
3. Route the wire leads to the engine.
4. Connect the bullet lead to the engine’s stator coil out-
put.
5. Connect the eyelet connector to the foot of the
engine block, secure to one of the engine mounting
bolts.
6. Secure the wires, using the wire ties provided, to the
handle bars away from moving parts. Be sure all
controls function correctly.

This kit adds an optional headlight to
snowthrowers equipped with an stator coil.
Before beginning any service work turn off the
engine, remove the key, and wait for all
movement to stop. Wait for hot surfaces like the
muffler and cylinder head to cool.
