mechanicalskillsandfamiliaritywithhandlingofsensitiveelectronicequipment.

brackets.
Prerequisites
AsuitablelocationfortheSR70mustbedenedpriortoinstallation.Theunitcanin
principlebemountedanywhereonboardtheship,providedthatthelocationisdryand
ventilated.Thephysicallengthofthecableslimitsthedistancebetweenthereceiverand
thehydrophone.
Youmustbeequippedwithastandardsetoftools.Thistoolsetmustcomprisethenormal
toolsforelectronicandelectromechanicaltasks.
Context
IfyoumounttheSR70onabulkhead,positiontheunitsothatalltheconnectorsarefacing
down.
Ensuremaximumphysicaldistancebetweenthereceiverunitandthepowersupplyunit.
Thisisimportanttoreducenoise.
Procedure
