Asssembly:
1. Place machine on flat surface.
2. Insert handle onto the handle axle on the right side of the
machine. (See Fig. 1.1)
3. Fasten the handle into place with the screw provided.

General Precautions:
1. Waste bin should be emptied regularly.
2. Film and cover stock should be punched individually.
3. Use unit only for punching paper, film or cardboard.
4. Do not open dust cover when punching documents.
5. Do not insert hands into machine when operating.

Bind:
1. Determine the appropriate wire size necessary for your
specific document. This can be done using the sheet
measuring guide or by using the following table.
2. Press down on the wire hanger. (Fig. 3.1.1)
3. Place the wire on the wire hanger. Fig. 3.1.2)
4. Thread the punched documents onto the wire. (Fig. 3.2)
5. Move the wire selector switch to the position corre-
sponding with your specific comb. (Fig 3.3)
Punch (Fig. 2.1):
1. Lift up paper support.
2. Ensure that the margin guide is adjusted to correspond
with the size of the paper being punched.
3. Insert the document into the proper punching throat.
4. Align the paper using the margin guide.
5. Pull downward on the handle to complete the punch
process.

Emptying Waste Bin (Fig. 4.1):
1. Remove waste tray from left side of machine.
2. Empty the waste chips.
3. Replace waste tray.
