Installation
1. Once you've selected the appropriate Velocity Ring and set it to "Maximum", Turn off the pool pump/
filtration system.
2. Completely remove your existing basket and store away for safe keeping.
3. (optional) Remove the existing weir/flap door on the wall skimmer opening.
4. Turn the pump on, allow it to re-prime and drop the "ALL-IN-ONE" basket into the wall skimmer.
5. The "ALL-IN-ONE" must be pulled down so the velocity ring is resting on the
"collar" of your skimmer housing, to create the "Bernoulli Effect".
6. Wait 1-3 minutes for the reduced area to increase the velocity inside your wall skimmer.
7. When your pool turns off at the end of the day, the basket will automatically float above the waterline,
trapping debris & providing a carry handle.
If your pump is not providing enough suction to create the initial water-tight seal (Step 5), see troubleshoot below.

Troubleshoot
The "ALL-IN-ONE" basket utilizes the "Bernoulli Effect" to increase velocity inside your skimmer. This effect can only take
place after the "velocity ring" has been pulled down completely. If the "ALL-IN-ONE" is not being pulled down to the
collar, first ensure that you've set the Velocity Ring to the lowest setting. Then you will need to divert more suction the
the skimmer line. You can do this by -Partially closing the valve to the bottom drain
-Partially closing the valve to any vacuum ports
-Increasing the RPM setting on your variable speed pump.
-Install Low-Flow Accelerator Disc
The Skim-A-Round "ALL-IN-ONE" will replace your existing skimmer basket & weir
flap while increasing the performance of the skimmer.

The Skim-A-Round "ALL-IN-ONE" basket is a
universal skimmer basket, designed to fit all standard
in-ground pool skimmers. This is possible because of
the interchangeable "Velocity Ring" which changes the
diameter of the basket. Choose the Velocity Ring that
has an outer diameter most closely matched to the outer
diameter of your current basket.
To achieve Maximum Velocity, it is recommended that
the Velocity Ring be installed directly below the lowest
"bump" as shown.
As the Velocity Ring is raised, the velocity will reduce.
(Only necessary for large pumps)

Emptying the Basket
1. Turn the pool pump off & remove
the basket from the skimmer
housing.
2. Slide the velocity ring to the top
position.
3. Disconnect the debris trap from the
basket.
4. Empty the debris from the basket.
5. Carefully snap the debris trap back
onto the basket.
6. Re-adjust Velocity Ring to desired
height.
7. Insert backinto the
skimmer housing.
8. Turn the pool pump on.
9. Allow 3 minutes for velocity to build.

"Low-Flow "Accelerator Disc
The All-In-One basket will increase surface water velocity by 30%. If you are using a "low-flow" pump,
a 30% increase may not be enough to increase the "pulling distance" of your pool skimmer. Snap the
accelerator disc into the top portion for an additional 30% boost of velocity.

existing wall skimmer just by replacing the basket. It includes 4 great features... ALL IN ONE!
Increase Velocity
The "Velocity Ring" will drastically increase surface water velocity near your existing in-wall
skimmer, utilizing the "Bernoulli Effect". This physics principal can be used to increase
surface water velocity without an increase in flow rate. This is done by slightly reducing the
inner diameter of your wall skimmer. This will allow your skimmer to pull debris from a much
greater distance.
Floating Debris Trap
The built-in debris trap floats above the water line when your pool pump is turned off,
preventing the captured debris from leaving the basket. This means you can simply remove the
"weir flap" from your existing skimmer and never have to replace it.
Built-In Handle
When the All-In-One floats to trap debris inside, the handle will rise above the water line as
well. This will allow you to empty the debris without sticking your hand into the water
Durable Replacement Basket
Most pool skimmer baskets are made of PVC and frequently need replacing. The Skim-
A-Round "All-In-One" basket is made of a durable Polypropylene which was designed
to last twice as long in chlorinated water.
The Science...
The All-In-One Basket decreases the area of the wall skimmer by 30%. Since the "flow rate" (GPM) from the
pump is constant, the "velocity" (MPH) of the water must increase when the area is decreased. This increases
the surface water velocity by 30%, compared to the velocity with a standard basket.
The All-In-One basket requires a minimum of 25 Gallons Per Minute running through the wall skimmer
to function properly. All in-ground pools are designed to provide double this amount (60-90 GPM) to receive
the permits for construction, because this is the minimum required to turn the water over twice per day. If the
All-In-One basket is not being pulled down completely, this is a visual representation that your pool is not
providing 25 GPM, which is half of the required flow rate to turn the pool water over in an acceptable time
frame. Please ensure that your pool pump is providing at least 25 GPM to the skimmer before installing
the All-In-One basket.
