2. KEY COMPONENTS 3. HOW TO USE THIS E-SCOOTER
3.1 UNFOLD
1: Pull the lever at the bottom of the steering rod towards you.
2: Pull the steering rod up until you hear a click and the folding mechanism is locked. Attention: Put your foot on the running
board while pulling up the handlebars. A firm push will lock the folding mechanism. In the beginning this is hard to do!
3: Pull up the handlebars left and right until you hear a click.
3.2 FOLD
1: Pull the lever at the bottom of the steering rod towards you. This requires a certain amount of force at the beginning
because the locking mechanism is fixed tightly. Later it will move more smoothly.
2: Slide out the rings next to the handles and fold the handles in.
3: Pull the steering rod down until you hear a click.
3.3 START RIDING
1: Insert the key into the keyhole at the right below the display.
2: Turn the key to the 1st position on the right below the display to start the scooter.
3: Turn the key to the 2nd position on the right below the display to turn on the lights.
4: When the Skotero Force XR is switched on and you are ready to ride, stand with one foot on the running board and put your
other foot on the ground to push yourself off.
5: Turn the handle towards you to accelerate, stand on the e-scooter with your second foot and keep your balance.
6: When you want to brake, use the hand brake levers which are located on both the left and right side of the handlebar. Press
both to come to a halt.
7: Make sure you push up the stand before riding.
8: Make sure you turn on the lights while riding.
9: Make sure you do not step on the rear fender while driving. This may lead to malfunction.
10: On the right side of the handlebar is the bell, use it when necessary.

3.4 STOPPING AND BRAKING
1: Braking is done by gradually pressing the left brake lever (this is the rear brake) and the right brake lever (this is the front
brake) simultaneously.
2: Always use the front and rear brakes simultaneously to brake safely. Practice braking safely several times. If you apply too
much braking force suddenly and, for example, only on the front wheel, you run the risk of tipping over. Always lean back a
little during braking.
3: For safety reasons, always check your brakes before every ride. If the brake force decreases significantly during use, you
should have it repaired. The scooter may only be used again after repair.
4: By turning the key under the display to the left, you switch off the electric scooter.
3.5 CHARGING YOUR E-SCOOTER
1: First switch off the electric scooter!
2: Make sure the charging port is clean and dry.
3: Plug the supplied charger into the charging port on your e-scooter. Never use another charger!
4: Connect the adapter of the power supply unit to an electrical outlet.
The power supply LED indicator will now turn red, indicating that the battery is being charged. When charging is complete, the
LED indicator will change colour from red to green. Charging time is 7 hours on average.
Red: not fully charged
Green: fully charged
5: Disconnect the charger from the electric scooter and from the wall socket.
6: When the plug is connected to the charging port, sparks may occur due to the voltage difference, this is normal.
7: Make sure you only use the original charger. Any other charger may cause electrical problems and serious damage to the
battery.
8: Always charge your e-scooter in a safe area, preferably not overnight. While charging, check regularly that no extreme heat
is generated in the footboard or charger.
3
The use of non-standard chargers or the use of different voltage chargers
may cause insufficient charging or fatal damage to the battery or the
electrical system.
4. SAFELY PARKING YOUR
E-SCOOTER
After stopping the scooter, get off and push the side stand down with your foot to support the scooter. The side stand is located
on the left side of the e-scooter under the running board. Before you ride again, fold the side stand back up so that it is parallel
to the running board.
5.TRANSPORTING YOUR E-SCOOTER
Fold up the e-scooter. Do not drop it during transport; do not place it near fire; do not place it near explosive materials. Secure
the e-scooter in your vehicle.

6.WARNINGS
6.1 LEARN HOW TO DRIVE SAFELY BEFORE TAKING THE ELECTRIC SCOOTER ON THE ROAD
If service/repair is required, please send a message to [email protected]. A ticket will be made for you immediately and your
question will be taken into consideration.
6.2 PREPARATION
Claims under this guarantee must then be submitted under offering the scooter etc. and at the direction of Orange Ventures
BV.
6.3 WEIGHT LIMITATION
Reason for weight limitation:
Ensuring the safety of the rider
Avoiding overload damage
Do not try to turn too fast.
Use the device only at temperatures between 0 °C and +45 °C.
6.4 RANGE PER CHARGING CYCLE
The range depends on several factors:
Road surface conditions: on flat paths you have a wider range than on uneven ground.
Weight: the range depends on the weight of the load.
Temperature: extreme temperatures reduce the range.
Tyre pressure: if the tyres are not inflated to the required pressure, the range is reduced.
Maintenance: if the electric scooter is properly charged and the battery is kept in good condition, the range is increased.
Driving fast results in progressively higher power consumption and a sharp reduction in range.
As the battery ages, its range will also decrease. Remember that with older batteries, your flash light will also shine less
brightly.
Speed and driving style: at a constant speed, the range is greater than with frequent stopping, accelerating and braking.
6.5 SAFE DRIVING
To keep the electric scooter in good condition, read all installation and operating instructions carefully before using the vehicle.
Observe all safety instructions when riding the scooter.
This electric scooter is designed for individual use only.
Riding a scooter is not recommended for children (please check local laws for age limits), the elderly and pregnant women.
People with a limited sense of balance are not allowed to ride the scooter.
Avoid riding the scooter under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
Do not carry any objects in your hands while riding.
Make sure you have a clear view.
Your feet should always be on the running board when riding.
The scooter is suitable for one person only.
Do not start or stop abruptly.
Avoid riding on steep slopes.
Stop riding the scooter if you hit an object (such as a wall or other structure).
Do not ride in poorly lit or dark places.
Ride the scooter at your own risk, we accept no liability for accidents or damage.
Ride at a safe speed that allows you to stop at any time.
Keep the scooter at a sufficient distance from other people and avoid collisions.
Steer by means of shifting balance. Quick movements can lead to falls.
Do not ride in rain or other wet conditions. Only ride in dry weather.
If possible, avoid driving over obstacles and avoid snow, ice and slippery surfaces.
Avoid driving over textiles, small branches and stones, if possible.
If possible, avoid driving in narrow places or surfaces with obstacles.
If getting on and off the vehicle causes damage, this is not covered by the warranty. There is danger of injury.
6.6 CHARGING
Make sure that the electric scooter, charger and DC power supply of the device are always dry.
Note: for charging this e-scooter, only use the charger supplied. another charger may cause damage to the device and other
potential risks.
Use the mains adapter to plug the DC input of the unit into a conventional power outlet.
Make sure that the green indicator on the mains adapter is lit.
The red light is lit when the unit is not properly charged; if this is the case, check the connections.
If the indicator on the charger changes from red to green, the battery is fully charged.
Now you can stop the charging cycle. Overcharging shortens battery life.
Charging takes approx. 7 hours. Do not charge the battery longer than 7 hours. After 7 hours, you should disconnect.
6.7 BATTERY WARNINGS
Do not attempt to replace or modify the battery.
Never use your Skotero Force XR when the battery smells strange, overheats or leaks.
Do not touch leaking materials or inhale the emitted fumes.
Do not allow children or animals to touch the battery.
The battery contains dangerous substances, do not open it, do not insert anything.
Use only the charger supplied by Skotero Force XR.
Do not attempt to charge the Skotero Force XR if the battery is deeply discharged or has emitted dust. In that case you
should contact your dealer.
Follow all local, state and federal laws regarding recycling, handling and disposal of Lithium Ion batteries.
The electric scooter may only be shipped in its original packaging.
7. CLEANING
7.1 CLEANING AND STORAGE OF YOUR ELECTRIC SCOOTER
1. Clean the scooter with a damp cloth, do not immerse it in water.
2. Do not use alcohol, petrol or washing powder to clean the scooter, because the paint or other parts of the scooter may be
damaged.
3. Do not use a water jet or high-pressure cleaner. Make sure the electric scooter is switched off and the charging cable is
disconnected during cleaning. Always make sure that no water can get into the inside of the scooter.
4. When the scooter is not in use, try to store it in a dry and cool place indoors. Try to avoid outside storage. Prolonged
exposure to sunlight and/or overheating will accelerate the ageing process of the scooter’s appearance, tyres and battery.
7.2 MAINTENANCE OF THE BATTERY OF AN ELECTRIC SCOOTER
1. Do not use other models or brands of batteries, otherwise there is a safety risk. Use the original charger only.
2. Do not touch the battery poles. Do not disassemble the battery pack. Prevent contact of the battery poles with metal;
damage and/or short circuit may occur.
3. Incorrect disposal of used batteries can cause serious pollution of the environment. Therefore, comply with local laws and
regulations when disposing of this battery pack.
4. Do not store the battery pack where the temperature is above 50°C or below -20°C (for example, by leaving the scooter or
battery pack in a car exposed to the sun).

performance. Bear in mind
that a lot of acceleration,
driving against the wind,

beyond that described in these guarantee conditions.
Any liability of Orange Ventures B.V. for consequential damage is expressly excluded. The provisions of these terms and

Any guarantee that cannot be fully excluded shall (to the extent permitted by applicable law) be limited to the duration of this
guarantee. This guarantee obliges Orange Ventures B.V. exclusively to repair or replace the products covered by the terms

this guarantee or other, including - economic or tangible losses - the price paid for the product - loss of profit or income,
loss of data, enjoyment of the product or other related products - indirect, secondary or consequential damage or loss. This
applies regardless of whether this damage or loss is related to fault or non-functioning of the product or related products due
to defects or because the product is unavailable while at Orange Ventures B.V. or at a Skotero dealer, resulting in downtime,
loss of operating time or interruption of work. This applies to loss and damages according to any legal interpretation, including
negligence and other illegalities, breach of contract, explicit and implicit guarantee, and civil liability (even if Orange Ventures
B.V. or a Skotero dealer has been informed of the possibility of such damages). If the applicable legislation prohibits or limits
