QUICK GUIDE
Braking procedure
The brake handles on the
handlebar are equipped with a lock
and function as parking brakes. The
brakes are activated by pressing
the brake handles.
To free brakes, press the red plastic
part in and the brakes will release
the wheels.
Transfer to or from MobiBed
Always use a hoist when
transferring the user from and to
the MobiBed.
MobiBed must be raised into
position so the hoist ”leg” is free of
the lifting arm under the transfer.
Transportation
Do not lift the MobiBed into a
vehicle by hand. Use a lift or ramp if
the MobiBed are transported by
vehicle from one place to another.
Never transport the MobiBed
with user lying or sitting in it.
MobiBed is equipped with six
fasteners, which are used to secure
the MobiBed to the base of the
vehicle. See drawing below.
Length adjustment
The frame can be adjusted in both
the seat section and the back
section. There are nine options in
total.
How to adjust the length:
•Remove the insert cushion.
•Turn the positioning bolt,
located on both sides of the
frame’s base at both the
seat section and the back
section, to unlocked
position.
•Grip the frame and pull
out/push into the desired
position. Lock both bolts
again. Pull/push the frame
until you hear a click. The
frame is now locked. See
picture below.
•The MobiBed is now ready
for use.
Fitting of belt
Always use a belt when a person is
lying in the MobiBed. One or two belts
can be used, depending on the user’s
movements.
Position the belt across the hips of the
user and secure as shown in the
picture below. Secure the belt around
the bracket, around the base frame
under the seat or in slots under the
seat section.
Adjusting the handlebar
The handlebar is mounted on the
frame. There is a grip (a knee joint)
on each side of the handlebar’s
vertical arms. Loosen the grip and
adjust the height of the handlebar.
Important information

when crossing e.g., a doorstep. The
