REGISTERING YOUR SKYCADDIE
Your SkyCaddie LX5 comes pre-loaded with over 35,000 courses
worldwide and includes a 30-day trial to play right out of the box. The
complimentary 30-day trial period will begin after your first round of golf.
Within the trial period simply complete the registration process and sign
up for a nominally priced SkyGolf®subscription plans to continue access
to the most-accurate, most-detailed and most up-to date course maps in
golf. Unlike its competition, SkyGolf walks every course to make sure you
can trust your distances to play your best golf.

EXTENDED WARRANTY OPTIONS
(USA AND CANADA)
When registering your SkyCaddie LX5, you will be given the option of
purchasing an Extended Warranty (U.S. or Canada only). This will extend
the standard 6-month manufacturer’s limited warranty to a 12-month
warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

HELPFUL TIPS
• Turn on your SkyCaddie LX5 outdoors, with a clear view of the sky,
to receive satellite signals. Give it an initial five minutes before play to
download the latest satellite data used to improve accuracy. The higher
the strength on the GPS Signal Indicator, the higher the accuracy.
• To maintain optimal accuracy during play, make sure your SkyCaddie
LX5 is always on and has a clear view of the sky. Do not put the
SkyCaddie LX5 in your pocket or turn it on and off during play.
• Don’t expose the SkyCaddie LX5 to extreme temperatures or water.
Storing your SkyCaddie in areas that may allow the battery to freeze
may result in diminished run time or failure.
• When cleaning and wiping the display use only a cloth intended for
cleaning optics. Do not wipe with a towel or paper napkins.
• Fully charge the battery before each round.
• Never disconnect or turn off your SkyCaddie LX5 while it is syncing.
Wait until it is finished communicating before you disconnect it, power it
off, or power off your computer.
