DOOR/WINDOW SENSOR Model 2GS9 PRELIMINARY COPY
1. INTRODUCTION
The sensor is designed to monitor the status of your garage door and work with the Skylink
Receiver. When the monitored garage door is opened or closed, the sensor will send signal to the
receiver and alert you the status.
In this package, you should find a sensor and mounting accessories.
Please follow the instructions below to setup the garage door sensor.
2. INSTALLATION
i) Remove the top cover of the sensor and insert one AA battery (sold separate) to the sensor
as shown in the diagram.
ii) Press and hold the learn button in the receiver unit, release the button when the receiver
emits a beep. The zone red LED on the receiver will flash.
iii)
Tilt the sensor from vertical to horizontal to activate it.
iv)
T
he receiver unit will emit a long beep indicating it has learned the code from the sensor.
MOUNTING LOCATION
Mount the sensor near the top panel of your garage door or the appropriate location by either
double sided tape or screws.
OPERATION
The sensor will transmit the signal to the receiver when detect the door is open, the receiver will
beep / alarm and the corresponding zone LED will flash.

conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) This device must accept
any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Warning: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible

This device contains licence-exempt transmitter that comply with Innovation, Science and
Economic Development Canada’s licence-exempt RSS-210. Operation is subject to the following
two conditions:

operation of the device.

1. INTRODUCTION
The water sensor model 2WA9 is designed to detect the water overflow, water leakage or rising
water such as the water level of your bathtub. When water is detected, the receiver will alert you.
It will beep and flash.
In this package, you should find a sensor and mounting accessories.
Please follow the instructions below to setup the door/window sensor.
2. INSTALLATION
i) Remove the top cover of the sensor and insert one AA battery (sold separate) to the sensor
as shown in the diagram.
ii) After inserting the battery to the water sensor, press and hold the learn button in the receiver
unit, release the button when the receiver emits a beep.The corresponding zone red LED on
the receiver will flash.
iii) You can test the water sensor by submerging the sensor portion in water. Note: Only the
sensor portion of the water sensor is waterproof, the transmitter portion should never be
submerged in water.
iv) When the sensor portion becomes submerged in water, the receiver unit will emit a long beep
indicating it has learned the code from the sensor.
MOUNTING LOCATION
A clean smooth surface is required to mount the water sensor securely. Mount the transmitter
portion and sensor portion to the appropriate location with suction cups respectively.
OPERATION
When the sensor portion detects water overflow, water leakage, or rising water, the receiver will
beep and the corresponding zone red LED light will flash.

1. INTRODUCTION
The door/window sensor model 2WD9 is designed to monitor any door or window within your
house. When the monitored window or door is opened, the sensor will send signal to the receiver
and alert you the status.
In this package, you should find a sensor, a magnet and mounting accessories.
Please follow the instructions below to setup the door/window sensor.
2. INSTALLATION
i) Remove the top cover of the sensor and insert one AA battery (sold separate) to the sensor
as shown in the diagram.
ii) Before inserting the battery, keep the magnet away from the sensor. After inserting the
battery to the door / window sensor, press and hold the learn button in the receiver unit,
release the button when the receiver emits a beep. The zone red LED on the receiver will
flash.
iii) Move the magnet away from the sensor, the receiver unit will emit a long beep indicating it
has learned the code from the sensor.
MOUNTING LOCATION
The sensor should be mounted on the door/window frame and the magnet should be mounted on
the door/window itself. Mount the sensor or magnet as high as possible. You should find a
marking alignment on one side of the sensor. The magnet should be in contact with this marking
when the door/window is closed.
OPERATION
When the magnetic contact is broken, such as when the door or window is open, the sensor will
send a signal to the receiver, and the receiver will beep and the corresponding zone red LED will
flash.
