•Aim the microphone toward the desired sound source
(such as a speaker, singer, or instrument) and away
from unwanted sources and as far as possible from
reective surfaces.
•Place the microphone as close as practical to the desired
sound source.
•Work close to the microphone for extra bass response.
•Use only one microphone to pick up a single sound source.
•Add a windscreen when using the microphone outdoors.
•Avoid excessive handling to minimize pickup of mechanical
noise and vibration.
•Do not cover any part of the microphone grille with your hand,
as this will adversely aect microphone performance.
04. Precautions
•
Do not store the microphone in direct sunlight,
near heating devices or in a hot, humid or dusty place.
•
Do not allow the microphone to get wet.
•
Do not subject the microphone to strong impact.
•
Do not disassemble, modify or attempt to repair
the microphone.
•
After use in a high-moisture environment such as a stage
performance, wipe o the microphone with a dry cloth and
allow it to air dry. Do not store the unit in a closed space
(e.g., a plastic bag) until all moisture has evaporated.
•
Over time the microphone may become discolored
due to wear, or exposure to the sun.
