Instructions – Lunette Wrench Kit
This Lunette Wrench Kit contains a lunette wrench, a workbench, and an O-ring, a new battery and an
instructions.
This wrench allows you to easily replace the battery of a Suunto D9. The included ‚workbench‘ makes
the process of replacing the battery particularly simple. First mount the four pins and the two rubber-
bands onto the workbench. Then place your dive computer between the 4 metal pins as depicted in the
photograph.This will ensure the computer will be held firmly in place and allow you to unscrew the
lunette with the special wrench. Replace the old battery and the O-ring with the new ones, and use the
wrench again to screw the lunette back on.
Important! Make sure to work very carefully and in a calm environment on a clean work surface.

1.0 Place dive computer between the pins on the ‚workbench‘ and
attach the wristbands with the ‚workbench‘s‘ rubberbands.
2.0 Place wrench onto lunette ideally in a one o‘clock position (cogs must grip, horizontally).

2 .1 Turn the wrench counterclockwise (lunette fits very tight)
2.2 Unscrew lunette by hand.

3.0 Remove lunette/fixing ring and lid and place it aside.
3 .1 Remove O-ring from the nut without using a tool.

3.2 Remove old battery. Clean lunette and housing dryly and without using tools. Dispose of the
battery by using public waste collection points. Don‘t throw it in the household waste.
4.0 Take new battery out of the packaging and insert with the + pole pointing upwards.

4 .1 Insert O-ring (Make sure O-ring is free from grease!).
4.2 Place lid back onto the housing. For correct positioning use mark.

5.0 Place lunette on top and screw lunette clockwise by hand.
5 .1 Place wrench tool onto lunette.

5.2 Firmly tighten lunette by firmly turning it clockwise.
