Key Features and Benefits
The EZ Connect Powerline™ Adapter (SMCHPAV-ESW) uses the in-house power network
for high-speed 200Mbps data transmission and is compliant with the HomePlug AV standard.
It comes equipped with 3 Fast Ethernet ports, turning any AC power outlet into a network
connection for up to 3 network-enabled devices such as PCs, laptops, gaming consoles, or
broadband/ ADSL routers. In combination with another HomePlug AV adapter like
SMCHPAV-ETH2 the SMCHPAV-ESW allows to easily share network resources and access
the internet through a secure, high-speed powerline network connection. Supporting Quality
of Service (QoS), the adapter automatically prioritizes video and audio traffic ensuring smooth
data transfer and multimedia streaming. The installation is easy and does not require any
driver or configuration, with push-button 128-bit AES data encryption for maximum security.
