Installingandoperatingyourfridge
•Beforemakingtheconnectiontothe powersupply,ensurethatthe voltage onthe
nameplatecorrespondstothe voltageofelectricalsystematyourhome.
•Operating voltage foryourfridge is220-240Vat50Hz.
•You canofferhelpfromtheservice toinstalland switchingontheappliancewithout
anycost.
•Mainscordofyourfridgehas agroundedplug.Thisplugshouldbeusedwitha
grounded receptaclethathas a16 amperfuseminimum.Ifyoudon’thavea
receptacleconfirmingwiththis,pleasehaveitdonebyaqualifiedelectirician.
•Wedonottake theresponsibilityofthedamagesthatoccurdue
toungroundedusage.
•Placeyourfridge inaplacethat itwouldnotbeexposedtodirect
sunlight.
•Yourappliance shouldbe atleast50 cmaway fromstoves,ovens
andheatercores,and shouldbeatleast5cmaway from
electricalovens.
•Itshouldneverbeusedoutdoorsorleftunderthe rain.
•Fitthe plasticwall spacerstothecondenseratthe back ofthe

•Whenyourfridgeisplacednexttoadeepfreezer,thereshould
be atleast2cmbetween themtopreventhumidityon the outer
surface.Donotplace anythingonyourfridge,andinstallyour
fridgeinasuitableplaceso thatatleast15 cmisavailableon
the upperside.
•Ifyou willplace yourfridgenexttoyourkitchen cabinets,leavea
space of2cmbetweenthem.
•Installthedistance adjustmentplastic(the part withblackvanes
attherear) byturningit90°topreventthecondenserfrom
touchingthewall.
•Theadjustablefrontlegsshouldstabilizedinanappropriateheighttoallowyour
fridgeoperateinastableand properway.Youcanadjustthelegs byturningthem
clockwise(orintheoppositedirection). Thisshouldbedonebeforeplacingfood in
thefridge.
•Beforeusingyourfridge,wipeall partswithwarmwateraddedwithateaspoonfulof
sodiumbicarbonate,andthen rinse withcleanwateranddry.Placeallpartsafter
cleaning.
Beforeusingyourfridge
•Whenitisoperatedforthefirsttimeoraftertransportation,keep
yourfridgeintheuprightposition for3hoursand plugiton to
allowefficientoperation.Otherwise,youmay damage the
compressor.
•Yourfridgemayhaveasmellwhenitisoperatedforthefirsttime;the smell willfade
awaywhenyourfridgestartstocool.

Thermostatsetting
•Thermostatautomaticallyregulates theinsidetemperatureofthe refrigerator
compartmentand freezercompartment.Byrotating theknob fromposition1to5,
coldertemperaturescanbe obtained.«0»positionshowsthermostatisclosedand
nocoolingwill beavaible.
•Forshort-termstorageoffoodinthefreezercompartment,youcansettheknob
between1and3position.
•Forlong-termstorageoffood inthefreezercompartment, youcansetknop 3-4
position.
Notethat; theambianttemperature,temperatureofthefreshlystoredfoodand how
oftenthe doorisopened,affectsthetemperatureintherefrigeratorcompartment. If
required,changethetemperaturesetting.

Ifyourfridgeisnotcoolingenough;
Yourfridgeisdesigned tooperateintheambienttemperatureintervalsstatedinthe
standards,accordingtotheclimateclass statedintheinformation label. Wedonot

Makingicecubes
•Pull thelevertowardyou andtakeoutthe ice makingtray
•Fill thewaterinlevelofline.
•Holdtheleftendoftheleverandsettheice-trayontheicebox
•Whenicecubes areformed,twistthelevertodropoff icecubesinto
theicebox.
Donotfill the iceboxwithwaterinordertomakeice.Itcanbebroken.
Superswitch
•Normallysetthisswitchto‘ ’position.Exceptwhen the
ambienttemperatureislowlike inwinter.(ie.below16°C)or
whenthefreezertemperatureneedstobe maintainedlower.In
thatcase,turntheswitch to‘ ’positionON.
•Tosetsuperswitch ON thatisonthe thermostatbox,press
theredswitch downto ’position.Theredswitch willlit.
•Whenthefreezercompartmentiscooleddowntosufficient
temperature,orthe weathergetshot,turnthesuperswitch off
tosaveelectricalconsumption.
•Whenyoufirstswitchontheappliance,forstartingasuitable
cooling,the applianceshouldwork24hourscontinuouslyuntil
itcoolsdowntosufficienttemperature.
•Inthistimedonotopenthe doorso oftenandplace alotof
foodinsidetheappliance.
If theunit isswitchedoff orunplugged, you mustallowatleast5minutes before
restartingorre-plugged the unitinordernottodamagethecompressor.

•Afterthewatercompletelyturnedintoice,you cantwistthe trayasshownbelowto
gettheicecube.
Magicshelf
Magicshelfwhich ison theCrisperCover(safetyglass)(see part 7-page13)was
designedtogiveyou moreplace andcomfortplacingthe thingsintheappliance.This
shelfismobilesoyoucan arrangelongorbigcontainerson the crispercover.
Bottleholder
Inordertopreventthebottles tosliporfalloveryoucan usethebottle
holder.You canalso preventmaking noisethatwillbe donewhenyouopen
orclose the door.

Refrigeratorcompartment
•Toreducehumidityand consequentincrease of frostneverplaceliquidsinunsealed
containers intherefrigerator.Frost tendsto concentratein thecoldest parts ofthe
evaporatorandin timewill require more frequentdefrosting.
•Neverplace warmfood in therefrigerator.Warmfoodshouldbeallowedto coolat
roomtemperatureand shouldbearrangedto ensure adequate aircirculationin the
refrigeratorcompartment.
•Nothingshouldtouchonthebackwall asitwill cause frost andthepackages can
stick on theback wall. Donotopenthe refrigeratordoortoofrequently.
•Arrangethemeatandcleanedfish(wrappedinpackages or sheetsofplastic) which
you willusein1-2days,inthebottomsection of therefrigeratorcompartment(thatis
above the crisper)asthisisthecoldestsection andwillensurethe beststoring
conditions.
•Youcan putthe fruitsandvegetablesinto crisperwithoutpacking.
Freezercompartment
•The useoffreezeris,storingofdeep-frozen orfrozenfoodsforlong periodsoftime
andmakingice cubes.
•Tofreeze fresh food, ensurethat asmuch ofthesurface as possibleoffoodtobe
frozenisincontactwiththecoolingsurface.
•Do not putfreshfoodwithfrozenonsidebysideasitcanthawthefrozen food.
•Whilefreezingfreshfoods(i.emeat,fishand mincemeat), dividetheminpartsyou
will use in onetime.
•Once theunithas beendefrosted replace thefoods into freezer andremember to
consumethem in as short period of time.
•Neverplacewarmfoodin thefreezercompartment.Asitwilldisturb thefrozenfoods.
•For storingthefrozenfoods;the instructionsshown onfrozen food packages should
always befollowed carefullyand ifnoinformationisprovidedfood should not be
storedformorethan3months fromthepurchaseddate.
•Whenbuyingfrozen foodsensurethatthesehave been frozen atsuitabletempera-
turesandthatthe packingisintact.
•Frozenfoodsshouldbetransported inappopriate containers to maintainthe quality
ofthefood andshouldbe returnedtothe freezingsurfaces oftheunitintheshortest
possibletime.
•Ifapackage of frozenfood showsthesignof humidityandabnormalswellingitis
probablethat ithas beenpreviously stored at anunsuitabletemperature andthat
thecontents havedeteriorated.
•Thestroragelife offroozenfoods dependsontheroom temperature,thermostat
setting, howoftenthedoorisopened,thetypeoffoodandthelengthof time required
totransporttheproduct from theshoptoyour home.Alwaysfollow the instruductions
printed onthepackageandnever exceed themaximumstoragelife indicated.
Notthat; if youwanttoopen againimmediatelyafterclosing the freezerdoor,it will not
beopenedeasily.It’squitenormal!Afterreachingequilibriumcondition,the doorwillbe
openedeasily.

•Youshouldcleanthe condenser withbroomatleast once
ayearinordertoprovideenergysaving andincrease
the productivity.
•Make suretounplug thefridge beforestarting toclean it.
•Donotwashyourfridgebypouring water.
•You canwipetheinnerand outersideswithasoftcloth
oraspongeusing warmandsoapywater.
•Removethe partsindividuallyandcleanwithsoapywater.
Donotwash inwashingmachine.
•Neveruse flammable,explosiveorcorrosivemateriallike
thinner,gas,acidforcleaning.
Make surethatyourfridgeisunpluggedwhilecleaning.

Defrosting
Refrigeratorcompartment;
•Defrosting occursautomaticallyinrefrigeratorcompartmentduring operation ; the
defrostwateriscollectedbytheevaporatingtray andevoparatesautomatically.
•Theevaporatingtrayandthedefrostwaterdrainholeshouldbecleanedperiodically
withdefrostdrainplug topreventthewaterfromcollecting on thebottomofthe
refrigeratorinstead offlowingout.
•You canalso pour1/2glass ofthewatertodrainholetoclean inside.
Freezercompartment;
The frost, accumulatedinthefreezercompartment,shouldbe removed periodically.
(Use theplasticscraperprovided)Thefreezercompartmentshouldbecleanedinthe
way asthe refrigeratorcompartment,withthe defrostoperations ofthe compartmentat
leasttwice ayear.
Forthis;
•Theday beforeyoudefrost,setthethermostatdialto“5”position tofreeze the foods
completely.
•During defrosting,frozenfoodsshouldbewrapped inseverallayersofpaperand
keptinacoolplace.Theinevitablerise intemperaturewillshortentheirstorage life.
Remembertousethesefoods withinarelativelyshortperiodoftime.
•Setthermostatknobtoposition«0»orunplugtheunit;leavethe dooropenuntil
completelydefrosted.
•Toacceleratethedefrosting process oneormorebasinsofwarmwatercan be
placedinthefreezercompartment.
•Drythe inside ofthe unitcarefullyand setthe thermostatknob toMAX position.

Replacingthelightbulb
Toreplacethebulbinfreezerandfridgedepartments;
1- Unplug yourfridge.
2- Removethecoveroftheboxfromtheclawsusingascrewdriver.
3- Replacewithabulbofmaximum15 Watts.
4- Install thecover.
5- Waitfor5minutesbeforere-plugging andbring the thermostattoitsoriginalposition.

•Thereisnopower,
•Thegeneralswitchinyourhomeisdisconnected,
•The thermostatsettingison«0»position,
•Thesocketisnotsufficient. Tocheckthis,pluginanotherappliancethatyouknow
whichisworkingintothe samesocket.
What todoifyourrefrigeratorperformspoorly;
Check that ;
•You have notoverloadedthe appliance ,
•The doorsareclosedperfectly,
•Thereisnoduston the condenser,
•Thereisenoughplaceattherearandsidewalls.
Ifthereisnoise;
Thecoolinggaswhichcirculatesintherefrigeratorcircuitmaymakeaslight
noise(bubblingsound)evenwhenthecompressorisnotrunning.Donotworrythisis
quitenormal.Ifthese soundsaredifferentcheckthat;
•Theapplianceiswell leveled
•Nothingistouching therear.
•The stuffsonthe appliance arevibrating.
If thereiswaterinthe lowerpart of therefrigerator;
Check that ;
Thedrainholefordefrostwaterisnotclogged(Use defrostdrainplug toclean the
drainhole)
Recommendations
•Inordertoincrease spaceandimprovetheappearance,the«coolingsection»of
thisapplianceispositionedinsidetheback wall oftherefrigeratorcompartment.
Whentheapplianceisrunning, thiswalliscovered withfrostor water drops,according
toweatherthecompressorisrunningornot. Donotworry.Thisisquitenormal. The
appliance shouldbe defrosted onlyifanexcessivelythicklayerformsonthewall.
•If theapplianceisnotusedforlong time(forexampleduringthe summer
holidays)Defrostandcleantherefrigeratorleaving thedooropentopreventthe
formation ofmidewandsmell.
